This thread was a joke to begin with, and a bit of a trip down memory lane. Aside from a nub arguing that pwdatabase never had Beacon Axes typoed as Bacon axes, it's been an enjoyable thread so far.

Yes but that nub is the creator of the thread that you claim linked to the typo'd page. It was never typo'd when I created the thread. Not sure if you are trolling or are really that ignorant.

Shouldn't be calling someone who has played the game for a year and a half longer than you a nub.

Bacon Axes aren't an exactly original idea, I'm sure neither of the you were the first one to read "beacon" as "bacon" in fact I'm sure of it. If she says she didn't know that thread existed, then she didn't know it existed. What point is there to argue over it anyway? The bacon axes are being looked into, it'd be cool if we got them.

BTW a simple google search shows that people misread beacon as bacon all the time. You're not the first one to do it, won't be the last. It doesn't really matter.

Let's all just enjoy a tub of bacon ice cream and get along.

even the periodic table is in on the fun!

Not once did I claim I was the first person to notice beacon -> bacon lol. That isn't my point and I couldn't careless that the OP had an idea similar to mine. Other people stated that the OPs idea wasn't original and the OPs reply to those posts were simply bs excuses and attacks at me and my thread. I wouldn't even have bothered posting if it wasn't for the OP ignorantly stating I'm a nub or my thread is god awful and then lying about a typo that never existed and using my own thread as proof that it existed...

OP made post. You claimed (i'm guessing jokingly) that you owned the copyright to it as though you were the first one to ever come up with the idea.

OP got accused of stealing. Other posters pointed out that it's not an original idea. OP points out it was typoed even in the database, and that she had in fact played a game that had bacon axes. Other person still insisted that it was stolen from your thread. You called her a hypocrite for saying she also played another MMO where'd seen that word before (in affect making post that post seem connected to the accusastions of thievery.) She called you a noob made claims that your thread sucked, you called her ignorant.

I'm just trying to remind everyone in the thread that's what important here is that a GM said they'd look into getting us bacon axes. Let's keep the thread related to bacon. Like this awesome bacon bazooka that shoots sausage. IJS saying, I would totally fight a BM if I could run around smacking everyone with Bacon just for the lols.

That wasn't the hypocrisy. Devoted was referring to the fact that Sarra called his thread god awful when actually it was a very information rant at the time while he/she (idk Sarra's gender) makes a joke thread about bacon axes, which is helpful to no one.

Well, let's look at some facts.

1) This thread is entertaining (well, that was the intention), and entertainment, IE, laughing, can lower blood pressure, which can make you healthier (slightly).
2) Ever notice how every weapon in the game uses the same exact weapon skins? Even some of the magic weapons (swords) use the same skins as the non-magic swords, just tweaked ever so slightly. Look at Sakyamuni's light, and compare it to the TT80 magic swords. >_> OMFG, they glow a different color! Wouldn't it actually be nice to have something new and unique, instead of the same 12 axe skins with different color glows and some random spikes added on to a few of them?
3) Bacon is important. It is, after all, a Vegetable made out of meat. The FDA recommends a minimum of 7 servings daily for healthy living. It's made of Swine so it tastes real fine.
4) The actual intent was entertainment, not trolling (like a certain someone is doing), but if an Admin wants to suggest it to Wanmei as a future idea, then so be it, and if we get it, I'll alway shave some bacon on one of my characters for when I get hungry, or need to PK someone stupid. b:avoid

@1. Maybe helpful is too vague in this case. which is informative to no one*
@2. Yes that was lame, but then they came out with nirvana which looked nothing like previous gear. And then they released r9, again looking nothing like previous equipment. So endgame gear skins are unique.

You then called him an idiot and then attempted to used his own thread to prove that he was wrong and the database was typo'd. It went more like this

Storm: (sarcastically) Yeah, you totally didn't steal it from devoted

so on and so forth. So yeah, I'd say OP was trolled through no fault of her own. You accuse someone of stealing an idea of yours when it isn't even yours, they aren't going to have kind words for you. : P

Which I said he was probably joking several times. But if you say something like that, and hop in with the people calling the OP a thief without saying anything, that kind of thing is bound to happen. Just like if I jokingly called my friend dumb, watched a bunch of people attack her intelligence, and called her a hypocrite for defending herself against them constantly calling her dumb and using my words to prove it. Then how would she know I was joking? Should have just said, "hey guys, i was just joking," in the first place, instead of jumping on a word in a post that was clearly only said because the other two kept rubbing it in her face that she "had stolen," and "was unoriginal," etc. So OP got trolled, and devoted could have stopped it by linking it himself the first time and admitting it was a well known joke that didn't originate with him. That's not Sarra's fault and he is responsible for his own actions. It is his own inaction (not clarifying that it was a joke when people got mad for him and called her a thief) and storm's actions that caused this thread to be derailed.

First line is debatable. I feel like when you feed the trolls its your fault, you feel differently.
Yes storm derailed this hard, but this thread didn't really have much to derail from the start.
