Yes, 10 runs a day cleared by a sin, run through solo by you, every day for 3 months.

Problem is, it didn't take them 3 months to do it, and noone was running 10 runs a day.

Everyone has there own perspective on how a game should be built. Some ppl like to lvl fast and get to a new game, others think a game should be challenging and as you get higher lvl it should get harder. I personaly like a challenge. If these boosters want to lvl fast by means that are suppost to be bannable then by all means they should be aloude to take the risk. Just as they have the right to drink posion and poo acid.
I (being a person who likes a challenge) think that boosters are losers that cant beat the game by any challenging means. However they probly think that because I dont boost I am being left behind and that makes me a loser. Like I said Its all a view point, I think that the Gm's know this and chose to make a magoraty of the player happy by doing nothing.
Some may complane that its not fair, but i ask you what is fair? Just because you think one way does not make it right, this applys to everyone even the MOD's and GM's (they are smart enough to know this).
Basicly The game has a template of what should be right or wrong but over all its vary flexable. There is no Easy or Hard mode to select when you start the game. They way you play the game is the difficuilty you pick. EG: (I boost so game is easy)(I don't boost game is harder). However you play the game should be fun for you if its not maybe you need to find a game that wont rage you so much.

The challenge is - if you are a lower level Sin you not only get ganked continually by those that did glitch but they make fun of you for NOT being high enough to see them in steath.

And honestly, I feel very sorry for the higher level non-Sins on a PVP server because what the heck can they do - to offset a 105 Sin steathing and ganking them?

Okay, I voted for permabans because there was no other punishment option. I don't care what the punishment is there should be something and it should be PUBLIC in nature so that the GMs show that yes they are enforcing the TOS, if not I have this thought for discussion.

By not imposing the TOS against those breaking the rules, has PWI and as such the GMs just invalidated their entire rule system not to mention their credibility (which was already shot to HELL IN HANDBASKET since the moderators issue of 2010, but I digress. If so then they have just open the door for everyone to do whatever they want because if the ban for it then they can be held liable for enforcing a TOS that they clearly have invalidated by not enforcing in on this issue.

I am not a law professional so I don't know if this has legs to stand on but if it does watch out for .ini edit and bots and nothing that PWI/GMs can do because they invalidated their own rule set.

Or for the amount of lvls they glitched, double that and remove it. So glitched 4 lvls and they take 8 lvls off your char. Or If they glitched a whole toon from lvl 1 turn it back to lvl 1.

My poor lvl 86 psy is still sitting with 155 hypers lol and they're all untradeable and im too lazy to lvl her.b:surrender I've lvl'd her with exp orbs from lvl 70 xD

I don't know about permabans i mentioned above but the people on these servers need to be given a reality check. Break the rules and there ARE consequences enough of this "spend alot of $$$$ and you can do what you want" mentality. That for the most part does not work in the real world and needs to be put and end to it here as well.

On a side note, does not really matter what they do now, December 20th is fast approaching and the servers will empty quite a bit. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

My suggestion would be to do as in real life.

Establish a milatary tribunal ingame which can summon players to a hearing place (such as General Summers NPC) with chat to ingame mods or gms, to answer charges related to ingame infractions of the rules, and if proven as in Real Life then they recieve a demotion in rank, not a reduction in lvl.
Small Infractions of the rules get a single rank demotion,
Large Infractions and you get busted back to private or permabanned.
This would probably be fairer but longer.

This seems like a more realist way of hearing charges before bans.

Except, the TOS states that they can ban you for any reason or no reason at all, so just because they chose to not enforce this particular rule they are not prevented from bringing down the hammer with a vengeance over something else.

They should just undo this "fix" and legalize the glitch. That is the only way they can make things "fair" without having to banhammer the heavy spenders.

You cant revert them back to previous glitch levels, all their armour/weapons would most likely not be usable, and these idiots don't have the patience to build up their alts back to that level.

Being all that gear is bound it would be a disaster, and most of the CASH shoppers are the glitchers, so its fubar.

Reducing the XP given by a mob probably takes less than 2 minutes

1 - locate the mob in the database
2 - modify the value of the XP given


Figure out the answer to this question and you'll know why they'll never ban anyone for using this bug.

... because they got a spike in revenue and the board of directors said, "Don't touch anything!". however the people complained enough so when the revenue spike started going down they fixed it.
