Sorry about the late notice, but we'll be having server maintenance tonight from 11pm to 1am PDT.

    Patch Notes Version 580
    Released November 2, 2011

    Faction Trials
    Brand-new dungeons available from the Faction Base for players Lv80+.
    Players are tasked with stopping the prophesized arrival of a greater evil.
    Players can complete these Trials up to 3 times each week. The timer resets every Wednesday.

    Elysium Village
    A mythical village shrouded in mystery has made its appearance.
    Lv100+ players will automatically receive a quest to initiate.

    Rank Gear
    Rank 8 sets have received 2 new armor pieces, available from Ti Chien in Thousand Streams.
    Earthguard players may now obtain their very own Rank 9 equipment.

    Awakened Rank 8
    Rank 8 equipment can be upgraded into Awakened variants by Reforging at (572,661) in Archosaur.
    All Awakened equipment can be customized via Reshaping and Honing at the above location.
    Materials for Reforging, Reshaping and Honing are available via the Faction Trials.

    Ascended Rank 9
    Rank 9 equipment can be Reforged into Ascended variants with improved stats. Speak to the Commander-in-Chief in Thousand Streams for more information.
    This process requires a new material, Summerwind Tokens, that can be created with Rapture & Uncanny Crystals from the Celestial General in City of a Thousand Streams.

    Ring Engraving
    Two new levels of Ring Engravings are now available at (572,662) in Archosaur.

    Faction Base
    The base's level cap has been increased to 30.
    The Faction Sentinel now teleports players to the center of their base.

    New Quests
    A new repeatable questline is available at Amber in Archosaur for players with at least 'Aware of Harmony' Spiritual Cultivation.
    Lv100+ Crazy Stone quests are now available in Elysium Village.
    Lv100+ Order of Justice quests are now available in Elysium Village.

    Miscellaneous
    Damage Ranking: show off your most-powerful attack to the Elder of the Streams.
    Coins: the coin count now changes color depending on how many coins the player has.
    Right-click Function: several UI elements now accept the right-click input in addition to dragging the appropriate item.

    Balance Fixes
    Assassins may no longer remain stealthed while controlling a Territory War catapult.
    Secret Passage's PvP controls are once again re-enabled. Players below 30 cannot join in PvP here. Flying is disabled once again in Secret Passage.

    Bug Fixes
    The Glacix Dragoon in Frostcovered City has had its Exp significantly reduced.
    The mob previously-known as Kowlin has been restored to its original name.

    since im going to sleep earlier than usual... heres what i promised. enjoy!

    1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
    5 tablespoons butter, melted
    1 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
    3 − 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 5 limes) If using key limes or
    juice, use half as much.
    3 eggs
    whipped cream

    Preheat oven to 350F. Combine crumbs, butter and 1 Tbsp. sugar in a bowl.
    Stir well to to coat all crumbs. Keep it crumbly. Press the crumbs onto the
    bottom and half way up the sides of an 8" springform pan. Bake crust for 5
    mins. and set aside. In large bowl combine cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla.
    Mix with electric mixer till smooth. Add the lime juice and eggs and
    continue to beat until smooth and creamy. Pour filling into crust. Bake for
    60 to 70 mins. If top is turning light brown it's done. Remove from oven and
    allow to cool to room temperature. Put into fridge. When chilled, remove the
    pan sides and cut with dental floss. Serve with whipped cream.

    Do you know, they exhibit a behavior in which they spray **** all over the place by flapping it off of their anuses rapidly with their tails?

    I can't remember if they do this to proclaim territory or threaten other hippos.

    They are also one of the most dangerous animals in Africa, even more so than big cats.

    And what is the plural form of hippopotamus? Hippopotamuses? Hippopotami?

    ok how bout this monkey you need to go to therapy and we need frankie to give us a real discussion, like how screwd up the game economy is or something. Maybe make an instance to get good exp in for people of level 100 so we can reach 105 without fear of being banned and then possibly have a higher level cap :/

    Gotta love how people want to race to 105 only to claim they have ZERO to do. Enjoy the game... Plenty of things to do. Enjoy the new SP for those who enjoy pvp the blue names wont waste your time. Have fun!

    i was playing in closed beta on my buddies account and been on mine since day 1 even tho the forums says my join date is later which is wrong...ive always wanted to hit the level cap, its an achievement for me. So dont bunch me up with the new plevelers who race to 105.

    This "racing to 105" generally comes after years of having played PWI, done almost every quest( save the uncompletable ones), tried every instance there is to try, and having gotten to what was once considered a respectable high level using the "old fashioned way" on one to multiple chars.

    Its cool man... If you been playin since closed beta and not hit 105, you wouldnt even be close to what I was talkin about. I know of 3 different players who have raced to over 100 in a very short time and who now no longer even play the game because they got too bored after paying people to level for them.

    those people lose some of the content of the game when they do it that way.
