I didn't use chienkuns and mine came out 4 socket (not sure if it was really lucky or chances are favorable. I know the other boots for sin came out 4 socket and not sure if it was kept. My r8 plate was 3 sockets when I reforged it and came out 4. To keep the 3 sockets it was 25 chienkun stones. I matched this number by using the chart for nirvana (63 stones * .4 [40%]) just like I was making a first stage nirvana armor. If we do the same for 4 sockets I come out with 85 chienkun stones needed. Again, mine came out 4 socket so until we know what the % of 2 /3 / 4 socket are I'm not sure what to tell anyone about keeping sockets.

I'm pretty sure it's always 4soc. The chienkuns are just if you want to carry over refines/shards.

BMs and barbs should get chest first... at least if they are going for extra int. Much more likely to get it on the chest and chest benefits most from the base stat increase.

Why I got my chest. Need to reroll a few times and 5.0 base sage here I come. After that get boots with -int go G15 heavy nirvana so I can tell that LA sin gear to GTFO. b:victory

Honesly don't konw how the procs work with axes, but if I do an aoe like highland cleave or fissure, does that produce a chance for proc on each mob or player?

If the answer is yes then it seems like for a bm the rank 8 recast axe might be better than rank 9. Sure god of frenzy an tryign to pack damage into it is great, but thunderstrike an square formation look really interesting. So if in tw I roared,hf,fissure,highland cleave...could produce a lockdown and even more dmg debuff?

Also Not totally understanding how interval works, I'm demon 3.33 and 5.0 If I were to add .05 on my main plate what would that do? Looks like maybe I could get rid of the crappy two pieces of light armor(gain life an psy def) Or move up to 4.0-5.0.

Altogether it looks very promising for bms and magic classes(purify)

The pwdatabase guy said he was going to check into it and possibly make a page about all the status skill found on weapons that include the name, desciption, proc rate, and items they can be found on list. We had a few emails going back and forth chatting about it. The game mechanics will be interesting to see if he can figure out. I told him there is a lot of speculation about that game mechanic (and for some going for GoF on nirvy axes etc it's very expensive when we still don't know for a fact what "higher chance" means).

GoF works for every target in the AOE. If you proc at all you proc on all of them.
Spirit blackhole is on a per target basis. You can proc on only some targets in an AOE.

Just decided to throw 20 mil at getting the newly released r8 sleeves for my barb...here's the funny part: The old r8 chest plate and leggings look like TT90 green armor (which is fine, always liked how that looked) but the new sleeves/boots are the same as the seeker HA visually.

WTH kind of logic is that? Mismatching armor ftl. -.-

So you can potentially purge all targets in the AOE just not all at the same time or only the target, period?

Sacrificial Strike is on a per target basis, I've never had a God of Frenzy weapon but could you show proof of God of Frenzy working on all targets if it procs? I've never seen anyone AoE with a God of Frenzy weapon either but.. I thought it'd work like Sac Strike.

To my knowledge, the only difference between GoF and SS is Frenzy's superior proc rate.

That is how Sac Strike works. When it procs, all the mobs in the AoE are hit at double damage, unlike for example crits, which are determined on a per target basis. Otherwise a large group of mobs would be able to wipe out your HP in one go oO

If Sacrificial strike's proc rate is 30% and GoF is 31%, it means GoF's proc rate is superior. Notice I didn't say in my post above that is was significantly superior... although I personally do believe it is.

I have cala's on my alt and I have r9 poleaxe. I'll give it a go and see how much each procs out of about a 1000 to get an idea. pwdatabase guy is checking it when he does update this weekend (at least what he said).
