    It's nice to actually see people's adds once they recast it. Wish more people would end up posting theirs though.

    Recasted my sin's boots and got -.05 int on first try......but also +9 mag and -2% chan b:laugh
    Wont consider to reshape them until i got enough mats for like 50 attempts.

    While it should be clear what happened... it's probably internally represented in the game as an integer value between 100 and 200 but the pwdb guy forgot to render this to the web page as a value between 1.00 and 2.00

    Recasting the wiz r8 top seems like such a waste, -6 channel, hp and magic x/x

    I would never recast R8 top. Loosing channeling especially for mage is huge impact. I would first recast boots and pants.

    Hmm didn't know channel was all that important for wizards..I'm going for full rank 9 an it really does't have much.

    Possibly the boots would be good place to start for recast 8 though---every single peice of armor for arcane has alteast some chance of having channel on it an plus some in the set bonus. So if channel is important- it can be got with a fulll recast 8 wizzy---may have to reroll many times....

    I don't see channeling as a huge impact for wizzies, having about -20% is enough if you hit hard as hell with good genie skills. Also my other gear was better graded and refined than the chest.

    Going for sleeves next b:pleased

    All mats can be acquired through the 9 trials quests in the guild base.

    I stopped reading right there.

    Basically devs are saying 'only large guilds can acquire these r8 gears' making the job of running a small friendly guild even harder, as people will seek to join a large guild so they can do the quests to get the mats required. Then they make it so you need 1000 tienkuns or whatever to preserve your 4 slots and +10 armors/weapons.

    Devs are laughing in our faces, seeing who is crazy or stupid enough to pay for it.

    I'm still laughing at the r9 recast requirements- run nirv every day 5 times a day (run out of keys) and it will take over a year to gather the mats, in the meantime you can't just do one piece as it ruins the set bonus of the 'old' r9 gears...

    and big factions cant be friendly? why the hell u need anyway r8 recast if u dont tw, pve can be done with oht/tt90 gear.

    If I recall, R8 Recast is guaranteed to have 4 sockets.

    You turn into such a whiney baby whenever someone posts a flaw about the recasts. Traz the pwe employee. Factions of 30 alts havent been running trials unless those 30 alts are all full +12 r9s.

    I did the first trial, completed it, with a squad of six. We had a 5aps BM, 5aps sin, veno, cleric, cleric, barb. Later on for the last bit of the boss fight we got a mystic and archer to help DD.
