You are absolutely right. Actually it's not just grinding, there is alot more that could be made more rewarding. But even if they just made grinding better, as you say, it would have a very positive effect on the game. It would be an indirect nerf of APS - the reason why people complain about it is, after all, that a large part of the community expects you to have it if you want to participate in their activities. For grinding, wq, JQ and such you wouldn't need APS... now if only those activities were actually worth the time you need to do them....

Maybe it would also lead to a better atmosphere in the game, more people playing together and helping each other out. Sure, it will never be as good as we'd like it to be. But it would be nice if we could show people, especially new players, that you can achieve something in the game without cs'ing hax gears and speeding through everything. b:surrender

Honestly I've learned that it's all about having the right friends and the right faction. I finally found my match a few months ago when I came back to PWI again (when I made this mystic). I bounced around like once or twice but I really love Retrocede. Great folks in here, all helpful to eachother and always talkitive and fun haha. They helped me get my sin to 3.33 aps (base) during the 2x event last few weeks, cuz they didn't care what aps I had. I even ran it with them on my other toons (cleric, this mystic, veno). Was nice getting to farm Nirvana without the worry they'd cry about it taking "so long" like a normal random squad would.

I have yet to try the caster Nirvana I admit, but most of that is because my faction takes me regardless.

It was a great way to farm gear that I needed and make a little coin along the way. If more people in our community thought like this (what I consider to be stuff of the "old days" of pw), we would be doing fine. But problem is majority of the community just wants everything NAO!

No one takes the time to enjoy eachother's company and run dungeons with whoever. Even TT isn't like it used to be. But part of that can be chalked up to the stupid changes they made to it (3-1 at least).

Anyway. As for questing, I did it up until 70 on this toon when I came back to PWI just to get back into things. Questing is something I always liked to do. :shrug: I didn't like that majority of the map was pretty much empty out in the questing areas but... oh well. PWE did it to themselves. Gave people APS and ability to solo FF and stuff... kinda doesn't give anyone any incentive to really work on levels like they used to.

Not that I'd really wanna stand in BB for two hours again like I used to (in zhenns) haha. But at least make questing worthwhile again. That's how you meet a lot of people. Nowadays how does a new player meet ppl? BH I guess. and later on FF. FF is where I meet most people now. lol. Eh.

I could log on and leave my faction which honestly sucks. Only a few help me like 3. I could find the right faciton but why does any one on RT want a seeker to join except to help goon them to 105 really lol. I doubt they want me to even help for tt, in big factions its probably all about TW , Nirvana and Fc. . Doesnt matter cant find a reason to keep playing unless reroll to what i hate 5.0aps or veno( not that i hate veno, i picked seeker for a reason). All to look forward too is limited delta(cause busy), bh and endless tt singles(unlimated fairies and tons of xD tt mats). Right friends? more like the right class to find anything including faction, i dont get why factions ask for seeker. Cant be for tw cause no rank 9 and all RT care about is aps so my guess is they want more seekers for goonies and Fcb:laughb:laugh

Yeah I feel you. I wanted to make this mystic my one and only class, and quit my others. But I eventually went back to my sin just for the pure fact I needed her for farming anything end-game. Course that was previous to when I joined my current faction. Still if Mystic was all I had? I probably wouldn't have been able to do as much.

I hated the APS craze as much as the next caster class because it alienates everyone else unable to do it (or want to). Everyone's gear looks the same now. I miss when there was more variety in builds out there and when each of them was appreciated for what they did.

True well no point thinking about it. I will just try to enjoy xD whats left till i leave . I guess i am still addicted. I know there people only want me for fc and delta but i am going to chill now.b:victory
