Im done posting on these stupid forums. This game has 6 maybe 12 months tops before it either shuts down or the numbers drop below 200 active players per server.
You know the last person that said the servers will shut down in 6months to a year was about a year and a half ago. And that has been said ever since....hm still going 3 years....

But are you sure about that? We say GMs but okay maybe People wanna say it to that "whole community" what they think. I think all the time than PWI get all same updates und sales like the MY server, but thats not true! Look on the my website. The dont selling pack all the time.

I agree with the OP's post.
We have seen numerous times that Frankie and the crew came to forums not that happy to be the bearers of bad news. They do seem to be people that listen to the community and it's inhuman to bash on them. Like people said, they do the job they were assigned to. I would be willing to bet that if they were all payed employees with the actual power to change stuff (in game, other then random events and such), some fixes would have come much earlier.
It's the dudes back there in China that mess things up and then they bring it upon us. Sadly the whole company must be worth a fortune and a real office beeing localized in the US with people actually responsible of all the coding must be unthinkable. So till that miracle happnes, just bare with them
Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle0 -

This last week has been a prime example of that. Have we forgotten what frankie wrote in his post trying to soften the blow of a free-PK SP? It wasn't sincere, it wasn't honest, I'm pretty sure it wasn't even factual. Why couldn't he have just told us that the devs royally screwed up?
Was he tounge-tied? Was he bullied into doing it by his superiors, as per his job description? If he did this of his own accord, then yes, we DO have something to blame on him. It's a shame people actually think this.
Volunteers or paid, when you become the face of a company you take a lot of heat when either yourself or the company displeases the public. My perspective is that they are part of public relations and going into the position, they should be well aware of what may happen. Furthermore, if they want to represent a lie or put forth a lie, or present utter **** like a cash shop item causing instability then they deserve what's coming.
Correct me if I'm wrong but, as human beings and being on the inside of the company they know what is coming in terms of new developments, issues, patches, etc. they also know that feeding us fellow supporters of this game is pretty dam stupid. They have every capability to think and put forth suggestions to whom they report to. Respect the chain of command, follow orders, but do it to what extent? To the point where you make yourself look stupid?0 -

There's only a couple of real outcomes here.
A. your boss agrees with you about the issue, but has no power to change it. (very similar to the current situation here with GM's.)
B. Your boss has the power to change it and just doesn't care so he basically ignores you.
c. You get fired because you were very unprofessional in showing your disgust.
D. People listen, things get fixed.0 -

Any job in customer service is like that. These guys have to put up with a lot. Both from what we, the community, dish out, and also from the limitations imposed on them by their superiors in what they can say to us.

To be quite honest... after the Orb sale **** up and the completely ridiculous excuse given by Frankie (the GM) for their removal, everyone in this thread who've just finished praising the GMs for their good work and what not... must now feel like complete tools. IJS.0

Yeah ok, we all know that frankies "Emergency Maint" was a big fat lie, but I also assume that he had his reasons. I think they wanted to earn loads of money with this sale but realized that it's a extrem big mistake putting those orbs as cheap as they were in the CashShop and now they are trying to clean the mess up, and besides which company would ever admit that they made a mistake =? And I still do believe that frankie did this on purpose to save his own butt, but I think he had no choice, if you were responisble for a mess like that, how would you react =? I know coming out with the truth is surely the best way, but thats kinda hard you know. When you got enough stress, maybe a little lie can help depress it, so give them a break and you ppl know just as well as I do that if they want this sale to return, it will return xD Besides it's just one day ago that ppl complained that this sale would break the game and now their complaining that they want it back, but it's always like that, so fine for more, thought I just state it here xD
Still GMs are not to blame, if PWE just would take at least 1% of their income to hire a team of ingame GMs, then things would be outstanding better then they are now.
