    <_< PWE has always copied things. b:chuckle. I remember the rumor for them changing the "Reaper" pets design in BoI was that they got in some law trouble because it looked exactly like a digimon, right down to the details.

    All this shows is that someone in China likes dolls. =P

    A lot of these things are by Korean and Japanese artists. The Chinese should really be creative and make their own things instead of taking ideas from their neighbors.

    It's a very common things for China business to copy cat things.
    Heck even fighting copyright over franchise such as gundam / ultraman. b:shutup
    Have you seen how many iphone copy made in China out there ?

    The population are giant and competition is very strong, it's hard to keep having fresh new idea for business there. Causing big pressure.

    They're not as creative because their society and economics is completely dominated by engineers and doctors (or their creativity is suppressed from childhood). There isn't much Fine Arts in China because most people there have a business degree rather than taking a lead into Arts. In the West, we have so many singers/artists being output by television shows, YouTube, etc; that they still can produce their own content. But really, I'm tired of seeing all of this awkward fashion that only an adult entertainer would wear. Where's the real Fash that's comparable to the Real World (and historically like the traditional Chinese Hanfu)?

    With such a very crowded country didn't that strange for me, because many people this day lack creativity anyway. Most rather copycat or replicate other people work or just waiting for the creative person to produce new things then take it's copyright

    Fairly close but Fallen Roc's inspiration certainly came from Avatar.




    As for the Iceplume Sparrow and the Chocobo, I'm not sure if it's taken from Final Fantasy. But a bird mount is surely not an original idea that has originated from Final Fantasy. People in reality can actually ride on Ostrichs so that idea of a bird mount is not fantasy.

    I don't know, but it looks like Obata Takeshi's art. (Death note, Bakuman, Hikaru no Go artist)

    I'm ashamed to have EVER entered into that fashion design contest they held here a year or more ago. >_> To think they copied most likely all of their fashion just... just... I have no words. How could I have been so stupid as to practically GIVE them my creative work! DX

    Also... to answer someone else, Yes, it is a clear copyright violation. Once you publish your work wether it be on a website, magazine, or other form of publication, it is copyrighted to you, the artist and you alone. Though it is wise to always register copyrights for your pieces for exactly these kinds of reasons-- People steal your work and try to sell it. I've seen people try to sell products or prints made from famous artists' work and they usually get it over that.

    Since PWE China is in violation of copyrights and also making a mint from their in-game fashion items, they very well should get in some sort of legal trouble over it... The original artists of these works should be notified if they don't already know. I'm just saying...

    I know that China has copied things and is known for it, but it's still not right. International copyright laws still apply.

    That's not entirely how intellectual property works. You HAVE to file it for it to legally be yours.
