Since you're a sin, this would depend entirely on your APS, wep, refines, HP, and what I need/feel like taking in squad at that moment.

I.E. There is something wrong when I have the highest weapon refine and HP in a squad full of BMs/sins.

Yep, I definitely spelled efficiency wrong so thank you for that and you are correct, I didn't press shift to put in a capital "I", congratulations of finding that. Now since we went this road let's see: you didn't start your first letter in your statement with a capital letter, you spelled "using" wrong, you didn't put quotation marks around "it's" and "don't" since you were quoting me or your sentence makes no sense. Also contractions are frowned upon in FORMAL writing, such as essays, legal documents, English papers and such but it isn't concluded as "uneducated" because frankly only an educated person would know that "can't" is "cannot" or "won't" is "will not". im not trying to write/type 100% correctly... i never came across as that at all... to be honest i over look my errors and others (unless its just one big run on sentence) while on the forums... im just waiting for you to type out "alot" so i can lol @ you... that is somthing that drives me nutts...

Sint is the most unlucky crafter in the server. AH is always flooded with his 2soc ****. Find a different crafter.

Refine your armor more. I have 5.9k HP unbuffed. Should be at 6.3k by the time orb sale is over.

sint is a friend so i try to buy from him... my RL wife takes all my money... she took 7mill from me yesterday b/c she needed a fly mount for her alt veno b:surrender... i love her so i over look it... but anyways im waiting to get more aps... i was thinking about +5ing my warsoul of earth (its at +4 now) or just getting my daggs to +6... when i get the boots ill add another 200hp easy and i still need to +3 my chest armor, leggs (they are clean atm...) and ashura bracers...

My whole 3 runs have been fairly decent. The only problem is that...I've only been on 3 runs. b:angry Someone won't farm it, and I don't have a properly leveled aps char of my own, so I'm pretty much stuck merchanting dragon orbs.

I am a Psy so we don't get invited to these things, so no runs for me, but what i find amusing about the whole need 4/5 aps is thing is people spend 30 minutes in WC looking for them, when you could of taken no aps or mag classes and ran it twice in that time. If 4/5 aps don't respond to you immediately, you might as well just take anyone.

took 40 mins to get to the 4th boss, kept dying to boss for 20mins (uncountable sqaud wipes), then the squad gave up and split the matts. Bare in mind i was the only aps DD in the sqaud and had a TERRIBLE cleric

Worst run ever:

50 minutes to do Vampire + Slasher boss.
2 sins with Hook and Thorn +2/+4 and around 4k-5k hp, who were aggro switching all the time.
It was a 6 man squad.
We died at Vampire because it took us too much time to kill him, can you believe that.
And at slasher boss, the bosses was losing around 200k hp between each aoe.
I quit the squad after the boss.

I used to bug that boss with my archers.

You stand on the statue and black mobs don't spawn.. You afk till 1k hp. Then just spam heals on cleric.

Solo able instance

P.S. back then there was not that many 5.0.

Damn. I was hoping I'd get to read 5 pages of hilarious stories about nirvana runs, but I have to sift through troll feeding time to get to them... ugh.

Anyways. I haven't had any horrible times this 2x event because I haven't nirvana-ed much. Last 2x however, I had a squad who refused to kill the feather golems, and they acted like they didn't know what they were. This was before when without barb buff I didn't have 5k hp yet, so I was being one shot by the mobs. >.< I ended up having to kill them myself because some how the squad didn't get that I was dying from them. b:surrender

Why would you tell people that lol. To them thats like you asking "Hey can i come and die 20 times while you guys charmtank the bosses?"

Should just join a party and ask when something is unclear while running the instance, never say its your first time. If you read guides and seen videos that should be enough for the basics anyway, not like you have to do anything besides healing and staying alive when boss random aggro. Since bosses in several rooms are random you can always claim you never done that specific boss before to avoid looking stupid

If you mess up you can always say "lag" or something else. So called "pro-clerics" mess up to.

I think those are mostly either low APS squad or casters that are looking for high APS DDs to carry them through the instance. I never have to spend that long looking for *other* 5 APS DDs just to have a slightly faster run. I get 2-3 PMs for Nirvana from FL whenever I log my BM.

yeah, once you've gone with a good, regular squad that will take down any ampable boss before the first seal, you arent likely to want to go with a caster squad. and most high damage output people are going to be unwilling to take a low damage caster leach with them. my regular squad for this 2x has been 2 +10 5aps BMs, a 5aps sin, a 3.3 aps sin, a demon veno and a non-aps barb, while i would have preferred a sage veno and an aps barb, neither one of these i would consider leeches, since the barb is constantly demon buffing for crits and chi, and the veno is constantly amping and debuffing (and doesnt kill time by having her pet out)

i havent seen any (mostly because i havent been looking) but wouldnt a seeker work out good for a caster squad? 3 wiz/psys a seeker, a cleric, and either a veno for amp or a low aps bm for HF? i dont know much about seekers, but dont they have a good debuff for casters? i mean, it wont be as fast as an aps squad, but it would probably be better than just selling keys for 150k

I made it a point on DW that either I go on the run or I won't go at all; I ain't selling my keys not even for 200k.

I find it jacked up that people call casters "leaches" when, unless they're doing absolutely nothing but afking the whole run, they are doing damage at least.

I did have a seeker in one of my Nirvana squads. He'd never done a nirvana before at all (yay for cherry popping!), and they can be awesome if they tap into their skills more (this one didn't use many until my fiance suggested it)

No caster is a leech unless they're standing there doing nothing in my opinion. The opinion that they leech just further adds to the anger many have for people so closed minded to having a variety of classes in Nirvana rather than just a bunch of BMs/Sins with maybe a veno/fist-archer and of course the cleric. I remember before the APS craze rainbow squads did exist, no one called eachother leechers back then. >_> Some of you should remember too lol. Problem is everyone wants instant gratification here. There's no real squad dynamic anymore.

So if I'm the cleric keeping everyone from dying, that means I'm a leech? okay lol. Do your no-cleric runs then if that's the case (which I've seen people do before). Just seems selfish to completely write off people for such reasons in my opinion but then again, I'm not some OP geared class and I play the game for fun and to help others. Sure working towards my own goals like everyone else is something I partake in but the only reason I wouldn't squad someone is if they did absolutely nothing to help the squad whether that be supportive or DD-wise. As long as they're putting in the effort and have clearly done what they can to the best of their ability to gear themselves well enough that's all I really worry about. And naturally, they had better know their class by the time they're 100.

First one....I got ****** tricked by world chat and only learned that after I ported in and saw the other people's gear.....

^ That's why you go with friends. Or make friends with other 5.0 so you can kill **** just as fast as you obviously expect to lol. I have no sympathy I'm sorry, other classes should be able to go on these runs too. Though I do think it unfair that they seem to have expected you to carry them since they'd specified 4.0/5.0. They should have just gone with other people in the mid range which would then have been more fair overall. At least if they're planning on taking randoms... I have gone with friends with various APS and we do fine. I don't know why people QQ so damn much about no 4.0/5.0 APS. Guess some just don't remember the way things used to be.
