A Few Reasons To Become An Archer

Ive noticed a significant lack of archers in pwi, hopefully this post will remind people why archers are one of the best classes :)

Reason no.1
We have Metal and physical skills - This means we can effectively attack any class with some decent damage.

Reason no.2
We can attack without skills and with skills - This means we can save more mana compared to some classes such as wizards.

Reason no.3
We Have nuke skills and fast hitting abilities - Take aim and Deadly shot can often 1 shot Arcane classes and at end game with rank gear we can shoot pretty fast for aps damage.

Reason no.4
We have more defensive skills than most classes - Anti stuns and damage absorbtion can be very useful, not to mention our massive evasion buff (Although most archers dont take advantage of this?)

Reason no.5
We kill mobs before they reach us - Mobs our level dont usualy reach us saving our hp costs.

Reason no.6
We use range attacks - Although our damage is halfed at close range we still have skills that hit high at close range.

Reason no.7
Our gameplay is the most versitile - I think we have more options of what to do in a fight than most classes, this leaves each individual archers fighting style unique.

These are a few i could think of off the top of my head, Add your own :)

    Reason no.1

    Reason no.2

    Reason n.3 - Archers are epicly epic in TWs

    Reason n.4 - Archers rock against AAs in 1v1. They suck against HAs, but who cares.

    Reason n.5 - Archers are wanted in squads until high levels.

    No, I mean 1% of what I should know b:laugh

    About Archers vs HAs, hm...

    Archers offensive:
    - Metal skills being just base DMG + amount which is very low after PvP reduction
    - nice crits, but still low DMG

    Archers defensive:
    - low P. Def
    - low HP
    - nice Elven Alacrity
    - some kiting skills

    Yea, I'm noob in terms of Archer-ism, could you give some light on?

    Good question. <w< Where does a lvl3x cleric get brilliant plumes? I'm not telling. XD Borrowed it for the screenie a long time ago. I gave everything I had for him to have a few minutes with it. Q.Q Owner's probably quit by now, it was so long ago, before r9.
    The archer still seems to be sexier though.

    Anyway, yes I am XD I designed the female one for my roomate, but the male one is his main. Both versions are sexy if I must say. Female one is currently my computer background *w*

    I suppose I should say a few things other than the visual aspects....The crits, the damage, the distance, the crowd control, the aoes, bows with purge/seal/freeze, the fact they look awesome owning things with a tiny slingshot--****, sidetracked into the visual aspect again...>_<

    Lol yea,

    I stuck with archer because to me kiting is just fun as hell, and archers are perfectly suited to it.
    It's like the most trollish strategy to win a battle(that actually requires skill)

    Its just so much fun to give people the run around, jump up and down, fly, land, run this way and that way, I really like to have fun with it :3
