All of those are so very wrong, it hurts... Really... Shall I explain why? I am pretty sure I don't have to...
What the hell, I will anyway! Here we go, kiddies!
1. We know the process never enters the perimeter of the circle, so we can conclude that the final perimeter will have to be larger than the actual circumference.
2. Division by zero... that was obvious...
3. Arcsin is a multivalued function and you cannot say definitively that x=arcsin(0) is true
4. Just because their squares are equal is no good reason to believe the numbers themselves are equal. Come on now, w're out of middle school, right?
After all (-3)^2 = (3)^2, but -3 =/= 3 ^.^
5. That check actually says e^i*pi not e^2*pi. You can deduce from my siggy to what the former is equivalent. Thus the check is actually for $0.002Tearle - Dreamweaver wrote: »;______; plox?

Ok ;_; ill try again. I even brought my math book home this weekend Dx oh god the inhumanity!
ok northwest ordinance also known as northwest corner rule is --
"based on geometry of a table that is involved and does not look at costs in cells of the table, until trying to find optimal solution. the algorithm carries out the following procedure until exactly one cells remains in the tableau..."
You're gonna have to suffer through bad webcam shots because I couldn't get to a scanner at school ;-; im sorry, it's the best I could come up with on such short time.

Just for you, Tearle, I looked this up in considerable detail once I had a better idea what it was. (FYI: Had you mentioned "northwest corner rule" then I could have found this sooner ;p)
This is apparently some form of geometric optimization given some constraints. (Meaning, we're looking for the ideal way to solve this visually given a set of limits.)
So you start in the upper left and you put a number down that satisfies the demand for that column (bottom number outside the matrix) without going over the supply (number on the right outside the matrix). You can only put down as much supply as you have, no more than that. (Meaning, if my demand is 7 and my supply is 4, then I put down 4. If my supply is 10 and my demand is 7, then I put down 7.)
If you still have supply "leftover" you move to the next column on the same row and try to satisfy the demand with whatever supply you had leftover. (So, take the example we just said with supply-10 and demand-7. Once I finished the first box, I have 3 supply leftover once I do that first box so I move over and have 3 supply to put into that box depending on what the demand is.) Either way, when you run out of the supply for the first row, you drop down to the second row. Then, from the box you start on, you do the same procedure. Try to satisfy demand given whatever supply you have. If you run out, drop down, if you have leftover, move over...
I have a linkie for you that gives an example of the process. Don't worry so much for the explanation, it's the matrix on slide 5 that you want to look at.
If that doesn't make any sense, tell Tepp-kun to message me and I'll hop on vent.

I am versed in everything mathematical "up to" multivariate calculus with some linear algebra thrown in for fun. Admittedly, that's a somewhat limited scope but calculus and differential equations were what interested me. That allows me to have a working understanding of elementary physics (i.e. classical mechanics) and the multivariable coursework helped to build a foundation for some electromagnetism and fluid dynamics. After that, frankly, I lost interest.

Well, mostly just trying to figure out how a flat space can uniformly expand in all directions. I'll see if I can compile some links to show what I mean. Gonna have to do some digging again. >.<

Sorry v.v my teacher never called it the corner rule so I wasn't sure which name to use. The explanation did help quite a bit Thank you very much. I managed to finish my extra credit that'll bring my report up a letter grade.
The link wouldn't open for me though, my computer kept saying it was bad- I got the gist of what you were saying from what you said though.
I really really appreciate the help. b:thanks

I like rough maths
Sum of the alternating odd numbers -1 to 999, is like.... 501 numbers. The average # is (999- (-1))/2 = 500. So wouldn't sum be 501*500 =, uh... thats where my rough math stops. Lol
250,500 I suppose.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Nah, cheze got it. If it wasn't alternating, the sum would be ~250,000 (or exactly, I haven't the time at the moment to verify).Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

If you can solve it quickly, which many of you will, give others some time to try. Also, google-ing to get the answer and posting it here does nothing, really. No one will think you are cool
