Should you level the plants skills?

Hi all, im just wondering if it's worth lvl the plants skills of ur mystic, are they good in pvp/e?
Cause i think they suck a bit, give ur opinion, thanks in advance :Db:victory

    im lvling them. befudding creeper and the sleep plants are good. the only plant summon i wouldnt lvl tho is the healing herb because vital herb is pretty much the same thing, only it heals alot more per pulse. so skip lvling healing herb and lvl vital herb is my suggestion

    as for the other plant summons its all ammater of opinion. ima try to lvl up all of them. imo all of them are good.

    edit: oops forgot about punishing sting. dont lvl that one up at all. it doesnt give any bonuses for lvling it up. it MIGHT increase physical dmg if u lvl it up but i have no idea. so keep the stinger at lvl 1 untill someone else can confirm what it does for lvling it up.

    ok so if stin increases dmg per lvl then its worth lvling i assume. sting and healing herb is the only plant summons i havent lvled, but if sting increases dmg per lvl up ill start lvling that next. thx =)

    The only one I'm going to bother to level is Punishing Sting.
    The others are decent in their own unique ways... but I'd save leveling them for much later when they can be abused.

    I see no point at lvling them, even the healing one. They don't have really good effect. I love how they say "has chance of bah bah bah" cause that mean not let you know the "chance" of it, just like Seeker's control, unreliable. There are no Sage/Demon version for it. They can be useful for AoE though. There is an agruement that: should the plant summon near the target or self. Near target mainly due to the danger of getting close, like Arden in JD need to go into the crowd and summon the plant then get away "safely". Near self is because in normal grinding, the plant is there next to you so mobs will get hit once they get close to you unlike target summoning, which maybe too far away to deal the effect on next target.

    they actually have a fairly high chance to debuff the target and a even higher chance once you lysing them. they also spam the buffs usually the target is always debuffed. atleast thats how it is for creeper and the vines. i havent tried the sleep plant yet.

    creeper is a all around useful pet imo. decreases BOTH magic and physical defense along with a 40% decrease in atk speed at max. i keep creeper up to date because it really is such a good debuff pet.

    That cause they got fast attack rate, that's why you think they got "higher" chance than lysing. They can be a lot more useful if they are stuck with a target instead of staying where they are.

    they have a fairly decent area of atk so the are fine stationary if you are just fighting against mobs/bosses/etc. and in pvp it just takes getting use to. if the target moves out of range of the summon then u can easily cast it again or just lysing it as soon as u summon it.

    AoE heals and 40% reduction in atk speed is never a bad thing. especially with it being spammable debuffs.

    every plant skill should be lvl up because one lowers the channeling and attack rate also when it explodes lowers the phy and magic defense. Sleep is good too since one of your powerful magic attacks takes time to take effect... For my point of view lvl up your healing and your plants

    question: why not level both healing plants? cant you put out both healing plants, making them work together?

    You can only have 1 plant out at a time.

    as far as i know vital herb is just more superior between the 2 healing plants and both of them give the same exact effect of an aoe heal. the only diffrence is vital herb does more healing. so vital herb should be chosen over healing herb. i wish healing herb was a magic restoration plant instead where as vital herb was the healing plant.... cuz mystics burn mana so damn fast. another thing to note tho is that vital herb costs 1 spark.

    edit: according to eccatomb healing herb heals for more HP over the course of 1 minute, but the pulse is only every 2 seconds. vital herb lasts for 20 seconds and heals every 2nd. it also has a long cooldown. they must have changed the effects or ecatomb is wrong again... ima get both healing plants today tho and test them out. IF ecatomb is right then healing herb might actually be better then vital herb unless ur in a desprate need to heal.


    so ignore what i said about the healing plants for now lol. ill have more precise detail on them today.

    Vital Herb heals more because it costs a spark to use, ijs.


    And personally, I see the plants as more of a "when I have the spirit and nothing else important to level" type of skill.

    according to ecatomb, and the math (both at skill lvl 10)

    if you used healing herb 1 time, over the course of 1 min, you will heal a total of 3,750 (125*60/2=3,750)

    if you used vital herb 3 times (to equal up to 1 minutes time) you will heal 3,000 (50*60=3,000), except, you wouldnt be able to do it in exactly 1 minute, because of the 35 second cooldown on the skill, and most likely sparks also. im hoping ecatomb is incorrect, otherwise, 50 hp per second SUCKS

    so yea, like u guys said, cant know for sure until its actually tested out. but from that description i can see what vital seems totally useless (waste of MP, Spark, and SP/Money)

    That's why they need to change it to: Summon next to target or summon next to youself when you self target.

    Um..the skill is actually like this for Vital Herb: first time heal it heal 100hp, second time it heal 150hp, third time heal is 200 hp and so on.

    I would love more info on the skills in general. Like the debuff chance of the plants, and gale force/thicket. How vital herb works is no readily apparent from the discription.

    Also the range of the healing plants would be nice to know, and whether they increase with lvs. I swear my lv1 healing herb has almost no range but i was just in a bh and the other mystic had at least 8 meter range on theirs.

    As for now I'm leveling just the first plant, as it is the only one I use (I don't have the healing one yet, but if I had I would be using/lvling it too). I can see uses for the debuffing plants later in game, and I'm planing to start leveling them when I pass 60, or 50 if I'll have enough spare sp by then.

    You can only have 1 plant out at a time.

    actually...vital plant wont dissapear until the 20 sec timer on it is ove,r so you can summon a 2nd plant without it dissapearing for a good while.

    at the very least i think all plants (expect the first one) should be at least at level 5. the mystic DOES seem to be geared towards being a support class, having the plants that debuff and aoe should be a given. the creeper in partticualar. it can reduce attack speed and channeling speed as well as punch a hole in the enemies armor. so the mobs hit less and recive more damage.

    I'm trying to figure my self if vital herb is worth lvling up due to its big SP usage, it heals 300HP per, at level 1, I was thinking to level it to 2, just to see how much it heals, but idk if I want to waste the 60k spirit seemings as I dont have to much atm, so any1 got it at level 2 or above and know how much it heals?

    I was wondering, does the HP of summoned plants increase with their skill level? if so is it noticeable? because I find that most aoe plants are picked up right after I place it by the mobs in 2-5 secs. more hp would be good not only to keep debuffing more but also will distract enemies killing them for more time.

    another question that need to be tested, does your gear affect plants hp or stats at all?

    and I assume that your level affects the plants stats slightly.

    i would assume you use the planets AFTER you or your pet has gained arrgo. if i had to guess, the hp of plants will never be that much, having something else to suck up damage along with your pet would be leaning towards unbalanced. atm i don't think we can say how the plants hp increase. but i think it might go up a bit by level
