Figured I'd post here again xD Probably the main reason I posted this was to show my fortify/badge genie in action :P This was actually my first real fight after I put badge on my genie.. So if you see some questionable uses.. I was new to the skill Enjoy!

Badge has a chance to remove stun (that includes occult). The graphic is kinda discreet, it is kinda hard to explain, but you can see it used all throughout the video. The one that comes to mind is ~3:53. That whirlwind animation was when Calvin used whirlwind on me :P

@Arenaceous - I don't really have the money to do that anyway.. but every time we fight.. Calvin gets better. I really don't think I'd be able to kill him now if he through a charm on and used used hp pots (besides the fact he has a full +10 set now).

The best parts about this vid is that you actually bypassed his charm through the 50% ground to air reduction. Doesn't that basicly mean you can 1shot him?

there actually isn't any reduction ground to air (there is however air to ground reduction) :P So just means I bypassed his charm b:chuckle

Aaaw, I always thought it worked both ways XD. So basicly he was just halving his own dmg while you were doing full dmg b:chuckle

haha ya I'm actually kinda surprised that Calvin is one of the few bms to do that.. It's scary getting chased down on a ground mount when you know they can still kill you, you know you can't get off the ground, and they are like perma sprint because they are coming at you so fast (+slow skills don't work) >.>

Meh, some of us who played mages a lot (including me) are also impressed. On Sanct, most wizard PvP is undine + BIDS crit or get wtfpwned by sins. The bad things of being on a PvE server, I know. MS PvP servers were interesting but my friends went on Sanct so that's what I did too.

At least this video showed something different for a while...

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't mind the video. I love the video. You never see pvp videos anymore for the most part, and almost never see them on a wiz. And the quality of the video/editing is awesome. I am far to lazy or stupid (or both) to figure out how to record the game that well.

What I mind is all the "omgwtfursoproicantstandithowwellyoukiteimmajizzinmahpantsigottawatchthatagainpassthetissue" comments from people, especially some that simultaneously show that they don't now what they are talking about. Some of whom (**looks in sirrobert's direction) did it both times he posted.

why would anyone do what adroit does? just curious. run like a scared child in the night/pilling like anna nicole smith isn't something i'd expect anyone to do in a 1v1. or, well, at all. i agree with blood, for the most part, just not the 4th thing he said. i don't think anyone should take adroit's play style as something they should be aiming for. people like that get ignored.

funny story: everytime i stroll through south adc, i see adroit's name pop up in chat. it's usually after losing a duel. comments such as "it's no fun fighting people who know how to play" or "that was totally not fair" usually follow. my favourite: adroit was getting purified and spam healed in a duel vs. amour, still lost. dunno how. amour gets healed in the next, "that was not even fair =.=".

Just 1v1'd calvin a few times, majority won.

Badge is nice to have... and 6 second fortify.

Shoo shoo prof, Adroit is good. My gear dominates his like the germans dominated the... anyways. Point being I WAY outgear him and he can still beat me from time to time.

@prof - would you suggest I stand there and die "honorably"? lmao Pro advice imo. I was wondering who was sounding all butthurt in common chat. I do get frustrated when I get one shot by Amour with any gush crit or just a normal pyro with genie spark.. or any ult etc.. especially when it takes me 3-4 skills minimum to kill Amour. Anyway, glad to see you back after a month of unwadding your panties from the last time you were humilated for being an idiot.. guess we'll see how long you can last before you ragequit again and go back to being a trash mage on your non-pwi server.

Soo prof, how would you advice Adroit to fight? What would you do differently? Just curious on how your strategies look... It's funny that the one Adroit is fighting, Calvin, actually sees him as one of the few skilled mages on LC. And he is the one having to deal with Adroit running like a chicken.

I don't use normal chat, so I honestly don't know what you're talking about. nothing to do with "dying with honor" by playing differently(why would you die anyway?), just means you're more knowledgeable about the class you seem to think you know everything about. maybe I'll bother to roll a mage here eventually and show people first hand. I hear genesis brings hundreds of new quest, so it wont be the same ol' thing again.

to sit and explain every possible thing I could do in every possible situation is more trouble than it's worth. I can say, though, that a mage doesn't have to run like this. there's many, many skills he could use.. no reason to ever have to just.. run. well, excluding those 6v1'd essence is always bragging about. but eh, he's in essence.

let it be hewn into your minds: adroit doesn't use his REAL skills as often as he should - he's 100% reliant on his genie's support. this is very funny if you hear how much he whines about sins, as they came together, and are as broken as each other. b:laugh

I've seen first hand what aps can do to a wizzy BLOOD, I like it when i see someone can rickroll an aps BM like that.

And Prof, great advice you got there.
STAND and tank that noob BM. APS might be able to kill a charmd vitbuild barb in seconds, it sure is noobish to kite it as a squishy wizzy

Genies came out long before sins. While genies are very useful, EVERYONE can get the same genie skills. If everyone had invisibility maybe there would be a glimmer of merit in your otherwise horribly fallacious logic.

And when you roll a mage on LC, I'd love to be there to personally give you a warm welcome.

Seriously, if I could, I'd definitely reroll on a PvP server. But I wouldn't know where to start; All my Chars and Friends are on HT. I LOVE PvP, and the PvP here on HT is often..****. Obviously, since it's PvE, but still..

Anybody my level just gets rolled, (Unless there a half decent Sin or Archer,) and it's rare I ever get any good fights, (It's usually me getting murdered by the 100+ Sins, bumping into 4x PKers (And No, I don't kill lowbies :P) or rarely finding somebody my level who is able in PK at all.) There are..SOME Good PK'ers I know my level, but I really think I should try roll a PvP server soon,

Harshlands or Lost City? Perhaps I should wait to see what Genesis throws us, wonder if it might be a new PvP server?
