    I'd rather have maintenance than this damn expansion now. Can't enjoy even little aspects of this game without lagging like hell.

    Genesis will be patching all in one night, unlike Rising Tide. We're doing it this way this time because it guarantees that the current client will be unaffected until the expansion is released.

    In the weeks leading up to Rising Tide, certain issues came up because of the expansion being partially installed with each maintenance, and we're trying to keep our PWI client as stable as possible throughout the process.

    Unfortunately, this means that the update will indeed be pretty big, but since it will be released in the middle of the night, people should at least be able to start updating and then go to sleep through the process.

    wat are the chances of you able to put the patch preload DL link up like an hour or 2 b4 the maint for this expansion? my computer tends to handle patching huge patchs that way then through the update client (had multiple client crashs during RT expansion till i finally just did the b4 mention'd method)

    Why do people complain about lag , apparently caused by no maintnence, I play every day and I dont notice any lag other than the usual normal lag created by the fact that the game is online. I think you just dont turn on your computer till every maintnence lol , since u have no lifes you turn it off the few hours of maintnence to half wash up your face.

    Granted, if they are in fact from NA - which not everyone is. I remember with Rising Tide expansion, even though I have a bit of a faster connection nowadays, I was stuck downloading for hours whilst some of my friends could play within an hour. I'm sure I'm not the only person who'll probably wake up, still unable to play the new expansion.

    Oh well...

    Not to mention, anyone with a slower connection and computer will have a useless Internet connection until the update has completed.

    I hope, single-file download will be prepared in same time. And seed as torrent. Because it's much-much faster.
