back to the "topic". First off all i want to point something out:
Narla was born, grew, influenced our game lifes (and rl for some) .. and ... died ... and it should be allowed to die <.< - no point in still looking for some1 to blame for what happened in Narla.

as Aries said at some point (...) nemesis by refuseing ppl application to guild, will not help the server to be more tw chalengeing ... becouse atm some of those ppl might quit the server and we are so few atm already ...
in my opinion a new Faction shoud be made ... why new? ... after talking with "half the server" on this matter, and after reading all this posts, i've got to the conclusion that many ppl don't wan't to join an "old" 1 (name is not relevant - this is a general ex only) becouse of the "history" that particular faction has ... so new is better;
the only problem right now is that many of the ppl on this server has issues with each other (the bitter legacy of Narla - 1 of the reasons i said it HAS to be allowed to Narla to die ... is best for all of us) ... so we should try and move on and find a way to put those issues behind ... to many times i've heard ppl say ... i don't want to be in the same faction with ... w/e ... because back in Narla ... he/she did or said that ... <.<, few of you know that no matter how much i loved beeing in Narla there were moments (not few...) when i've turned fc off so that i would not find more reasons to leave the faction (even in the good days), why... drama comes and goes ... and i stayed in there for my friends, and left it for my friends ...
so ... in the end ... my decision to leave or stay on arch depends on how things evolve here ... 1 person can not change the server ... this is something that we all have to do ... so we ether find a way to leave with each other or ...........

It's a thought though, I don't know how strongly you and other elusive feel about this server. I mean personally, I have had all the fun I could have here. My expectations for the server were high and arch came nowhere close to it and I have come to accept this fact. I think most of us need to accept this also.
Well you mention 11 rank9's. There will be more of course, hopefully in all guilds. But like blood said, if there is nobody to use it on...whats the point? Elusive leaves, pk is non existent(end game atleast). I see a few immunity and texas, but it comes nowhere close. Either elusive is outside west or nemesis. TW, I don't know, seems the smaller guilds are enjoying themselves, as for nemesis, I don't care...they seem to be having fun.

I`ll be gone, I just cant bother anymore. I aint **** my charms to provide PK kill farming for R9s, that is what the fridays TW was about, on saturday? Zulusive`s story was pretty much over already. I`ve done all I could to promote good TWs and if new server is PvP, I`ll be there, gotta hate bound gear though. So I might TW even if it`s PvP server as most of my gear is bound(R8, TT99, forest wisdom, lunar cape [PWI sucks, never wanted those bound, QQ])
Nemesis says they want fun TWs, yet they do everything in their power to prevent them. You lock 1k apos, you ask if Proski had done the same? No, well I could see Zulusive trolling for a week to see mango QQing for apos, but locking apos for more than that? Nope, I myself only want(ed) 1k/archo to lvl my apo over lvl 6, so I could make charms out of p.stones.
Now, I`m not sure which number is the true one but I`m sure there was at least 10 R9s on Nemesis showing up on weekend for TW, might have been 11, though I might have counted somebody in that who wasnt there. How many Zulusive had? We had 2 R9s in whole faction, not sure if other was there on friday. Those numbers alone should tell you something. I dont really care about that, yet when you hear Nemesis calling you fail for not beating them, are you freaking serious? That is the mature way your own leader acts, he calls Zulusive immature, yet he is doing the exact same thing, only difference is, he acts like he is some superior creature, beyond that sort of barbaric behaviour. Somebody mind spelling me hypocrite? Cause that would really fit him.

Till this day, only ppl on server I have heard of not squading with somebody cause of faction are in Nemesis. Well, I have giggled on my chair when Ive seen mango looking for aps, and started to do something entirely instead of helping him. But then again, that is stictly related to him as a person, not nemesis as a faction. I have ignored Impulse & Narla, members while being in the guild due personal reasons. But to say, I`ve had my reasons, most ppl would agree with em. I just rather ignore ppl in the future instead of ragequitting faction/etc.
Nemesis does literally everything in their power to prevent good TWs by doing everything in their power to prevent strong competition from appearing. Aries you said yourself, Narla recruited ppl who were only after land, same is happening in Nemesis, cant check if you agreed to that one though. After all this, you expect Elusive to provide you TWs, when you do absolutely everything to make it not happen? When we tried to provide it, we got simply trashed by your officers from the top. Have you seen Proski calling Nemesis fail just cause they lost that 1 TW to us? You ask us to be mature when you are doing the exactly opposite thing. After all this, we are supposed to waste lot of effort to provide you competetive TWs?
Ps. Why I waste my breath, when you put things on the table like that Nemesis either hides under the rocks or avoids questions by replying completetly irrelevant posts.

Yes Myra I know this server has the potential of, "being saved" but it seems to forget how to keep it from happening again. It seems the main reason for all these discussions focus's simply on what people from Nemesis say somehow contradicting what they do in game. I could care less, it is their game time...let them do as they please. So for our game time, let's just leave.
Think of it this way, elusive set an example that overthrowing any guild is possible...slightly more difficult now with PWE's marketing committee going nuts with gamers money. So with that in mind, walk away. Just simply walk away and start a new server with new people to deal with. It's not running away, it's being intelligent with our free time. But perhaps some peoples hatred for these group of random online players called nemesis can outweigh their own logic..for them, your loss.

I`m on it! Already creating my own fanclub, every succesful troll has one. Now haters, could you label yourself if you are going or not going into new server so I know if I have to step up my game a bit. Why can't you guys just get over your obsession with Nemesis? They're people just like everyone else, we all say things that we don't always do, there are *** holes in every faction, there are backstabbers in every faction.
For those of you who just play the game for 'fun', why must you obsess over one faction like this? You could be doing other things and actually HAVING fun rather than taking the TW map so seriously. Who really gives a shiit whether one faction owns the map? When I played on DW, Calamity pretty much always owned the map, but I still had tons of fun. It really doesnt matter who owns what, just play the damn game and learn to have fun independently of what other people do and have. And if TW is the only thing that interests you in this game, then the chances of you actually having a good time once or twice every weekend are pretty slim. The game just isnt as much fun when you only log on for TW. In fact, TW is more fun on a private server than it is here.0 -

Well TW was the thing that kept me active, there is no good TWs on sight so I`ll rather troll forums than invest time on toon I`m likely going to abandon. Dunno if I can bother farming coins in order trade em for stuff on new server, I`d need trustworthy person for that, sigh.
And about nemesis, I speak nemesis as a faction due the actions on TW map etc are faction decisions, pointing out inviduals aint the best option, though you can pretty much narrow it down to 2-3 persons, when discussing Nemesis actions as a faction. Thing is, when those inviduals keep saying one thing and actions are pretty much the opposite to what they`re saying, I find it simply ridiculous. Nemesis says they want fun competetive TWs, with the last weekends setups, I doubt the dream team of our server could have beaten them. When that much power flock into one faction, saying "we want fun TWs" is pretty damn funny.
The first TW lasted what 1.5h? Somebody might say it was competetive, long and fun. I tell you, had nemesis not been simply horrible at finishing it, would have been over in under 30mins, it was target practice for their R9s. When you can set up zhen on enemy base and they cant really push you back, it`s real damn wonder TW took that long. I`m not trying to say Nemesis was bad, no, yet the lenght of that TW doesnt tell the real story of what happened. I dont find that sort of TW competetive, was pretty damn far from it. And you know, your not gonna find a single Nemesis member who says he/she doesnt want competetive TWs but he/she will actually say prefering them, the irony.
I dont find PvE that entertaining and as I got no interest on investing anything on my barb atm, I dont really find it fun. Open PK? Too many R9s for my taste, I`ll either get 1shot by one or one pops out of stealth on me and stunlock kills me. I dont really mind losing on PK but with the sales I`m like helpless 3yo out there. On TW there is so much going on I can be effective, yet now I dont even have that. So to say, there really isn`t anything but friends on PWI atm to keep me interested in game. And the closest friends I`ve made on PWI? They`re pretty much equally inactive with me.

I`m actually laughing at it most of the time and I find it entertaining to see how they try to wriggle out of it. It`s more entertaining than what the game got to offer and it truly makes me wonder do they honestly believe what they`re saying themselves. Call me what you want but it`s simply my nature, I want to make ppl think what they are doing and I guess I still believe that human is honest to at least him/herself. It may be cultural thing but I take it for granted of being honest to certain point, sure I take my shots in the dark myself but I wont be intentionally lying nor will I run from what I said. It`s the same thing irl, whatever you do, you should deal with the consequences, no matter what they are. Exactly right Martiin - We saved it once before, created a great TW map that attracted new players and brought some old ones back. Problem is, the same people that created the problem the first time seem (intentionally or unintentionally, I'm not saying here although we all have our opinions) to have created it again, just this time there are a sufficient number of new folks that didn't live it the first time.
Well, I am done trying to save it. To grossly paraphrase Ben Franklin: "Its a competitive TW server - if you can keep it". You've asked some questions, so allow me to answer.
Why? Because for some of us, the MOST fun to be had is in TW, and in fact is the very reason we came to this server. And we aren't obssessing. haha you don't understand, nobodys losing sleep over it and most of us do lots of other things to enjoy ourselves. this is a forum, it invokes discussion and no discussion is ever all rainbows and whatever. besides the conflict that arises 99% of the time makes for a hilarious read, but also past that apparently pushes the right buttons because every time it gets critical in here better decisions are made by those in power. best of all not just for themselves, but the people around them too. think about it, if 1 keyboard can give people a lot more reasons to stay on this server than they had before, what happens on a forum between a bunch of them oughta be appreciated and not deemed 'drama.' but of course your guys astigmia to a good discussion is as painstakingly obvious as that youtube phenom's baseless defense of britney spears. okay so how many impulse players do you guys recall just upped and left because they knew nothing was going to happen until 3-5 months from the point of their inability to compete? not try to fight back (cause they certainly did) but COMPETE. not even a chance, so why wait around? or how many of those players ended up going to narla because it was "more comfortable" and they could "get everything they wanted" there when staying in impulse just meant doing the work necessary to get better. or fatalis players who just quit because they knew there was nothing they could do but join narla, and they either couldn't or didn't want to. what if everybody just "did that?" our servers bigger than the 200 man capacity of narla/nemesis, isn't it?
is it just good enough that you guys are content with what satisfies yourselves or are you ever going to consider the server and all aspects of this game as equally important? I could be sitting in nemesis right now drinking a mojita and watching my refines go from 3 to 4 to 5 to 9, but I don't, and for good reason. look, if our server is something you can invest so much money and time into, you should feel like an idiot if you aren't playing your part to help keep the value of it up so don't sit there and act like it wouldn't affect you personally as if thats going to hold weight to why other people shouldn't argue the contrary. great, sit out there with your +10 bows like you did for a while and rage target everything that walked out of west gate. I on the other hand want to take level 80s like johnnyb0y out to west gate and show them what its like to have the memories of group pk they couldnt achieve on their own because of the powerhouse effect. they saw others having it on youtube, just like the wars, and without people like those in elusive they'd quickly find out that just doesn't exist at the end of the tunnel anymore.
do you really want that? cause I don't, I want as many people staying here as possible, maybe you are fine with what happens to you and your small group of friends only, but a lot of others feel differently. and even more would be concerned, but only when its too late and once enough players have quit so It happens in despair. sort of like "oh qq how did this happen to our server"! - enough is enough, man, thats why narla was stopped before more time could go by and its why people are considering what to do before nemesis gets enough of the map and other wars slowly diminish because they don't know what their doing wrong to stop it. oh my god, we're just playing and worrying about ourselves whats so bad about that, right!? think of the elusive movement as rogaine, once you guys stop having us that hair is going to just go and then you'll realize just how badly you were balding before. is that what has to happen before people snap out of the idea of "playing for themselves."
its not just necessarily a problem with nemesis, its a problem with our server but more emphasis is brought to it and more people are made aware BECAUSE of nemesis. they are the front runner of what happens when everybody has that attitude. nemesis doesn't like to get the attention for it but you guys are all grown ups and im quite sure you can deal with it. maybe the reason people look at you guys is the same reason people look at different faction's leaders. you may not want to be involved but people need someone sitting better than them to go out of the way for them on occasion, like representation. nemesis got one part right, but for all the wrong reasons. you like to reach out when It means getting more, not just because. I've seen he who shall not be named try diligently to recruit shahiin (our only rank9) and many others when you guys all along had enough potential to always beat us. like blood said, theres the good in what you do then theres always trying to push your advantage BECAUSE winning means a LOT more to you guys than us, period. and why is that? well, if anybody wants that badly to not be compared to narla there clearly are apprehensions. but why? narla was a great faction for a long while, the best, even. its because you guys lost and there was drama about what you were doing to the server and you didn't want that legacy. legacy, need I explain more? seriously, you could've saved the server of the players it lost for months, moreover, not have to compromise who you were as a faction to do so, but you didn't and are struggling to now because you want to win THAT badly for WHAT? your reputation. theres playing to win so you can be competitive and enjoy it, and then theres playing to win because if you aren't you can't enjoy the game. look, we may be on the outside but it doesn't take the leader of your own faction to say what happens when you lose. half of your faction talks about dominating as if its a credential so clearly you're giving them the wrong message
anyway moving on,

uh, no, it doesn't. as we said you guys take care of yourselves, and great, but a quote like that just shows its becoming a "sacrifice" not being in nemesis because of the influx , demand and focus. you've ran stuff for people, great, but what happens when all the good of what could've been helping other factions flock to yours, I quit the server, and theres nothing left for anybody else? stop acting like its going to hurt you to become stagnant. elusive was stagnant so people could always know what to expect of us, no strings attached, and there was a clear goal for people to compete with. you guys on the other hand WANT more and always lie about it. don't tell me you have that many "friends." like I said theres a difference between having your friends and truly accepting either a win or lose TW for what its worth (the fun of it), and having your friends + taking every and all cash shop muscle to win-or-it-doesn't-matter. narla, who had more standards than anybody else, even took nova leaz and proclivity altogether at one point because of that reason. not that you guys couldn't ever compete, but you were desperate to win. is that saying don't do what it takes to win? no, that was a bad example, but its saying don't do EVERYTHING you have to to WIN while killing the joys of an at least long, potentially undecided outcome war
of all the points i've ever made on the forums can you actually argue the intent behind it? its to BRING people together, and I have actually done that when the best you guys could do was worry about yourselves so shut up and listen. PVE should be as much of a uniter as what PVP has been but its not, want to know why? because its instead like 1 more piece of candy stalker A has than stalker B to lure that kid into the car, thats the way mango runs his factions whether you want to believe it or not. lets share our candy for the sake of the server, though. why let the 'inevitable' happen? why do you guys want to let stalker A just "naturally" get 100 more incentives than anybody else?
"because we worked hard and deserve to be that shining city on the top of the hill" - if this were real life or you were running a business, i'd not give a care, but its a game for ****s sake. you guys only feel fine now but i'm telling you you're going to feel sorry in due time when this falls off and people just do whats good for them and stop concerning themselves with the rest of the server. narla was a mansion many people sold out to to lodge in for however long because their real homes, where they were actually from lost a lot of themselves to the mansions expansion (lol ryhmes). the point is what were once seemingly desirable places simply became shacks. you guys leave your end game selves to go sit where you feel you are deserving of, but you leave everybody else in shambles. and THOSE people are the only ones you would have on the outside to give you reasons to play when you get tired of running pve content with your already end game gear. everybody knows I wouldn't do Elusive in a heartbeat (so people didn't have to feel like they had to come here for the best wars, but could instead stay in their 'homes') if it meant mango would retire his idea of taking over the map, or "75% of it" which I think is his new 'good enough' till his ego becomes content. problem is he sugarcoats it it every time he needs a new start at a reputation and if theres going to be any solution it HAS to be on his terms
so, aries, you wanted solutions but those solutions are something you need to figure out by reevaluating what you want and weighing it against whether its WORTH it or not.
give up half your land, whats it to you guys? or did some of those people only join because they saw the momentum, and you wouldnt want to give up 1 of your advantages. let other people make use of ironguards (uh..oh), don't secure everything but instead embrace the challenge, leave 1k open and induce attacks. you guys don't NEED to apologize for how you like to play this game, or what you're good at, but there were tons of steps you guys could've took to stop the unnecessary 'growth' and pushing of your advantage, TONS. my personal solution, in my opinion, you guys wouldn't be able to handle because you have to put an ego on the back burner and not think of power as something that enhances your gaming experience. something you as a faction may never admit to wanting, but is as clear as the sky is blue. that to me, ultimately, is the difference. the easiest solution is something you guys are too afraid to do, because you'll just come up with some bogus **** about how you deserve to have the land that you do and rah rah rah, forget it i'll stop talking eventually. "just take my taxes and shut up," damn politicians. but if you ever did let go and want to say enough is enough, all you gota do is get in contact with me and i'll get everybody else from all over the server to come on vent and we can discuss it and actually
1) identify the problem so nobody aspires to the point where it always resurfaces
2) keep each other happy because this is our server, not other peoples servers where "the inevitable" happens, we're different because we actually want to reach out to each other (well, or so I thought).

Here's something you can think about, got this from my open channel hydraulics class.Your on a boat floating on water. Inside the boat you have a box filled with gold. You drop the box of gold into the lake.
Assumptions: No outside contributions are made to sea level, only you, the boat, and the gold.
Does sea level rise? increase? or decrease?
Hint: Buoyancy forces and remember gold has a high density.

Has to do with whether the gold sinking the boat in the water displaces more water than the gold in the water does.
Don't we need to know the size of the box holding the gold? What if the box holding the gold is bigger than the boat?
I'm saying sea level drops because the gold in the (presumably larger) boat displaces more water than the gold out of the boat.

I did mention the box of gold was inside the boat, also the size of the boat would be irrelevant unless we are speaking in terms of infinity large sizes in which the limit would be 0 which then no change in sea level. But that was not an assumption.
BTW blood, if you live in America..happen to know an engineering firms looking for a 2011 graduate structural engineer?
