Kaida, I actually did not think of that. But it would work right? It's fine though, I could not achieve such a goal anyways. I am simply not a factor and hence I give up my plan and proceed to being the fail veno that I am.

No. I want all the level 100s who are happy camping out in lesser factions, 1 shotting 6x's in TW, reaping the benefit of a dynamic TW map that Elusive created for them, to recognize the peril and act, and stop letting Elusive bear that burden alone.

But they haven't, and they likely won't, until the map is nearly gone. The only option now is to hasten that day and hope there are some decent tws in the meantime.

You asked what I wanted. I think I've stated it quite clearly. Again. If you would all pay attention to what I am saying and stop defending against criticisms I'm not even making, I wouldn't have to repeat myself. I'm sure we would ALL appreciate that.

Assuming I agree with your premise, how many reasons do you need?

1. Because Elusive was willing and able to put up 2-3 hour TWs against Nemesis (and in fact beat them) until what? A few days ago? But Elusive should have gone somewhere else?

2. Because none of those other factions even attempted to attack Nemesis, except Darkside, and "you know who" and "you know who" are having a lovers' quarrel at the moment. Do you even get what I have been saying? Why would we join a faction to fight Nemesis when that faction never fought Nemesis. To the contrary, one of them even ganked us WITH Nemesis. C'mon man make some sense.

3. Many of them are/were recruiting 6x's, which would mean they would either have to boot their members to accomodate us, or we would be fighting Nemesis with 6x's. Rank 9 1 shots me for gods sake.

4. Because many of us (and by "us", Aries, you know who I mean), said that if TW here EVER got to be the way it was with Nefarious, that we would leave the faction. Because we didn't want that. Because we came to this server to get away from those 8 minute TWs. Because some of us are consistent with what we said, and some of us aren't, ijs.

There are more, but this post is long enough. Maybe I will join someone else, who knows. For now, the only thing to do is try to get tws elsewhere, no show nemesis (we don't care about the land, your faction can have it since it apparently sends such a thrill up their collective legs), give Nemesis 8 minute TWs (have fun with that), and hasten the day when the map on this server looks like all the others.

You don't care about TW, and thats fine. Just don't be surprised/offended when we get sick of hearing others in your faction pretend to given this set of facts.

look, lol, when a leader cries on vent about his diminishing reputation he sets the principles for his faction before any members even join. after which...collectively, you'll find your ambitions to be shallow (because a reputation means something to him) and your concerns to be trivial (because a reputation means something to him); leave us alooonee, don't worry about us we're our own people and we have fun in our own way, go away drama-starters! what some fail to understand, though, is that that same defensive indifference put our server into lethargy and exhausted the fun right out of an entire aspect of the game... and for too long. all of you, even the most extreme carebears like quality-driven PvP TW's and would have it as often as you could. that is, of course, until it meant admitting your faction was harming them more than supporting them. this is such a late stage of perfect world I am baffled at how some of you don't just "LET GO" by now. by that I mean nemesis focuses entirely too much on themselves even at the rest of the servers peril. great, you provide wonderful PVE. you know who else provided wonderful PVE, but without a conflict of interest? spanker_d, recognize the difference.

the excuse of friends and not moving around so much or making mistakes is an absolute joke and its hard to take you guys seriously when you blow smoke to grow into a powerhouse, not just "have fun your own way" that elusive has apparently been so bad for because we are pushing our beliefs on you! omg!!!!

first you guys went from claiming you just haphazardly had the land you did since you didnt "move around so much" and it was convenient to paint the picture that way because had anybody knew you still wanted to take over the map after narla, you would've been crushed. but since we bid away from you guys and you've been getting all these rank9s and trying so hard to outfit each player with their own small fortune of ironguards, now you have become proud of your meticulously planned route and "hard work" thats allowed you to 'earn' each and every one of those lands. heres the thing though. our servers too small for everybody to worry about only themselves, just accept the little responsibility it takes in holding that perspective, christ - you can sit there and plead some sort of social injustice for others intruding on your privacy but when are you ever going to get real and truly let go of the idea of playing for a reputation? I haven't commented like this in months because I see kat as a good friend and i DON"T want her to feel like shes dealing with the same drama she did in narla, but holy hell this would never even have to happen if people shattered the oppressive behavior of trying to be the best and creating a stupid legacy. GIVE IT UP! the ONLY reason people don't want to be compared to narla is because they are afraid of facing the connotations head on that sit badly with the reputation they want. the funny thing is there was nothing wrong with narla as a faction, just where it went. THAT AND ONLY THAT IS WHY THIS TENSION, THIS "DRAMA" and any thing else "BAD" HAPPENED. WHY IS IT every time i've put together great PVP memories for people we can all get along and move past the drama? because its a uniter, its us doing stuff together and realizing we all oughta be contributing to each others entertainment. we get along realy well and some of us can be the best of friends with each other BUT... you arent narla because narla lost and that isn't "comfortable" with you guys. take the past year of PK on this server and you can really test the character of a person too. whos actually gone out there without the advantage, a charm, apoth, or anything else because they really didn't care about losing? who was the leader that actually stood with his faction at west gate when WE (ELUSIVE) had to be the only faction that was ever going to truly FIGHT for something. versus the guy who admittedly only went out on his cleric to get a grudge kill on celestial/elusive then go back to safe zone for the rest of the week to apparently let that EPIC death linger? give me a break. or now that he has rank9 only goes out there, and to make matters worse to even have the audacity to call the people who pioneered pk on this server safezoners? you SHOULD absolutely be trolled because of the attitude of your leader, i'm sorry.


from elusive to zulusive to now back to elusive, no where in any of that had we been afraid of staying who we were.. admittedly i've been a bad leader the past few weeks for personal reasons, but i've never pretended to be anything more than just a guy playing this game who people just happened to ended up liking and trusting. while I hurt that a little bit now, theres one thing none of you can take away from me that has always reflected on elusive, and that is that I've stuck by my word 100% and have been honest even when It was bad. mango changes what he says when its good for him that I could write a book of examples on but I won't, i'm sorry the guy isn't bad or anything, but he takes himself more seriously than anyone ever should on the internet and that sets the tone for your faction whether intended or not. like I said, aries, you may all very well "want tw's," but when are you going to do something about them? how many hypothetical scenarios do we need till you realize, oh **** if zulusive wasn't even formed we (nemesis) still wouldn't have had a good war.... ^____ that is why some people are critical and others want to call it drama and give it no credit. all it is, though, is different people using different methods for getting answers that are relative to their and OTHER's in-game experience, nothing more nothing less. I hope you guys realize without these forums narla would've never had any real reason to bid back. once that guy was criticized enough, being as concerned about his legacy and how people perceive him that he is, he had no other choice but to and thats the sad truth a lot of you refuse to acknowledge. its why quotes like "we only bid on you guys to help phoenix" and "why bid back when you guys are giving the fun TW's" catch so much flak because of the either extreme hypocrisy or, now that some of you have gone away from what you were saying you were about when nemesis needed to get off the ground, shallowness in your long-overdue admitted real intentions.

what that is saying is "if elusive ceased to exist nemesis would just go on to take over the map even if it meant 3 months of uncontested TW's." the irrefutable difference is that if nemesis disappeared, theres no question what elusive would do to make this server fun again and from all corners of the map. us moving around so much giving waiheke phoenix texas and everybody else opportunies to grow has more or less saved this server, thats the hilarious part of it all. you call it being unorganized or not being a refined community, but I call it MAKING A DIFFERENCE when you guys didn't even know the server was dieing because of your utopia. oh, but you would if that security ever came crashing down.


those who try the hardest to 'dominate' will always do whatever it takes to bolster their momentum and constantly refresh their ranks with new waves of ignorant idiots who don't know the history of archosaur for them to let it happen. why is that so important? because if everybody knew the truth NOBODY, not just 1 guy that became fed up on the idea of people waiting for the map to be reset before they had fun, would let this happen to our server - "so we dont repeat the mistakes of the past."

I just hope you guys realize if these factions didnt exist -> narla/nemesis/whatever next potential mango-by-product of try too hard to create a legacy, Elusive wouldn't have to either or have other factions friends feel like they had to come here just to compete. People could actually make a 3-4 faction server of their FRIENDS (like texas immunity) work here for"good enough" to "great" TW's happening NOT ONCE IN A MONTH, but every week. why? because theres a difference between having all of your friends and having fun TW's win-or-lose, and having all of your friends + taking any and all extra cash shop muscle just to be the best and dominate TW win-or-its-not-good-enough.

and let me just say this now, it doesn't matter what kind of fun you pretend you and your faction want and are deserving of that isn't TW, if you bore an entire aspect of this GAME ... okay? GAME... meaning, what all people can enjoy, not 1 particular faction whose **** is exclusive to its members, you are an A$$HOLE if you think nobody should troll you for it.

Well, I'm not the recruiter, so i don't get to decide who comes and not. And I actually want high lvl ppl on teh faction so I can finally get my stuff done.

And I really don't care about wnning or losing TW.. it's just a part of the game. When we go up against smaller factions i usually don't even attack or show up.

I don't have a saying on what Nemesis does regarding TW. And I just want fun TW's... but I'm on a faction with a nice atmosphere.. where I don't have to deal with drama constantly... And I don't want to give that up just for TW. Cause 2 hrs of fun on a Saturday don't make up for 5 days of senseless drama.

Take every level 100 on the server if you want. People can play where they want to play. I don't care, really.

Just don't act like winning a TW is an accomplishment. Don't act like you want fun 2 hour long TWs when you do nothing to promote them. And don't act like you can't PvE with anyone except people in your faction. In fact, the only person I have EVER heard of not doing a PvE instance with someone because they weren't in faction was a nemesis member.

And recognize, as proski says, that in effect what you are doing is killing off an entire aspect of this game that alot of people enjoy.

Do all of those things, and you can let anyone join that you want.

Ok so Ive been following along on everything etc and this is my question....


All this is going on now but what shall happen if they do bring out this new server. I mean how many of you who actually visit these forums etc are planning on moving there and saying **** u arch server (xD)

Cause from my understanding a lot (not all) but quite a few that are active in TW are thinking (not saying they are but thinking about it) of moving there. So I just want to know where is that going to leave us ( as in whole Arch server) when it comes to TW.

Will that just leave us for PVE and TW will no longer be exsistant?

Given this is a question and one that is coming from suspicion of a new server and fact being you never know whats going to happen until it happens, but I still would like to see what people think may happen.

Just a bit curious ^^

But to your question:

We can't know, of course, for certain how many. BUT we can know this:

The death of TW on this server (not to mention pk, but that is another subject that is far less easy to repair than the current TW crisis) will most certainly make that number higher.

Many came to arch from red mapped servers specifically BECAUSE TW was dead there. Many had left Arch once before because of the unbeatable Narla. It surely will happen again.

Anyone see any connection between viable PvE and viable TW on a server yet? Our server is alot more populated that it used to be, no? Think it a coincidence that happened as the TW map became kaleidoscopic? Think it will be easy to get your PvE "stuff done" on a (once again) dead server? Just askin'.

This is what everyone seems to miss - I'm not trolling Narla/Nemesis, I'm sounding a clarion call. And not for me, not for Elusive, not for Proski - idgaf about that. Its for the server, for EVERYONE. Whether anyone answers is all that remains to be seen. So far, it seems as though the answer is no.

If the new server is an east coast PK server? I myself am going to be hard pressed not to go check it out. Cheap Rank 8 makes it almost too easy since you don't have to even worry about the cost of end game gear. Especially if they give the original classes a full rank 8 set like they did the tideborn (which I'm guessing they will, I don't know).

"WTS #1 ranked pvp wiz on arch server, #6 pvp over all. Gear sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and with all faults. Hearing aids not included".

Can he level three (count them, 3) 10x wizards on 3 different servers? Only time will tell . . . .

No wonder it took me 80 levels to figure out my barb had this nifty little skill called invoke . . . .

Tell me how to promote it... It's not my fault all these ppl came to Nemesis, and I'm not the recruiter. But I have no right to tell someone they can't join cause they are too high lvl.
and I NEVER said anything about not being able to PVE with otehr ppl. MOST of my PVE is with Elusive members.

aries I know who you are and what you represent, same with kaida, and kat, and a few others. its just...how can I say this. everything you want you can still enjoy without certain things happening the way they do, which.. make no mistake about it, are not coincidental.. the reason I brought up spanker is because he would run anything for anybody and would actively seek out other people besides just his own faction, there was no conflict of interest. you have, but has most of the rest of your faction? and on a regular basis? PVE should be as much of a uniter as PVP is but its not because its something that is being used to gain power to please a particular incentive that, in turn, is affecting TW because now its a "sacrifice" NOT being in nemesis where you can get everything you want. if you guys were an actual family of 150 members and related through blood (no pun intended), fine, take care of yourselves first and foremost, but this is nothing like that.

I know what you want, but the frustrating part is that if everybody thought that way this server would DIE and that should make people want to feel a little bit more responsible even if its just a game. "friends" is an excuse and so is a "drama-free" environment because without the powerhouse effect, people could DO what they want and BE with their friends and not have those dramatic environments that only exist to rival the threat of losing fun TW's. that is what texas and immunity have been able to do, but they wouldn't even have the chance if they didn't have somebody giving them the opportunity to by delaying the powerhouse, thats a fact. if you get gobbled up by 1 faction you will end up losing your friends because they'll at some point feel pressured to join 1 of 2 factions for any chance at a tw. if nemesis were the immunity back when narla had them locked in 1 land you guys would not have that many "friends," thats my point. the biggest misconception is that 'its inevitable' so why bother 'making it seem like its something we oughta fix' when its just going to happen anyway. not the case at all, when elusive had the power we showed no interest in using it to grow, theres how most people should think. we still kept our community and all our friends, but we didn't use it to to grow 1 faction that much to the point that it hurt other people. SO many people have come and gone from elusive, and you know what, the very best to them i wouldn't go out of my way to ever make them feel bad bad about leaving (besides rynis b:kiss). nothing needs to be that self serving, we all should be like open houses. nemesis has what 10 lands and the only fun TW's of your own doing when taking us out of the equation was a fluke loss to darkside. how many factions can't use that area of the map now to create their own moments? and how many more when you guys keep growing?

"should" I have done what I done and left and tried to help a bunch of people have what was missing for so long? well, a different question because its the internet and not a Haiti relief program, but I would say yes, and everyone else should too....and to kaidas concern, thats my point and why I did any of this to begin with.... lets not wait around to start having fun. why is everybody only focusing on whats good for them when a much higher satisfying form of entertainment can come if we help each other? if you never know who of your friends inside or outside your faction are going to quit tomorrow, wouldnt that make you want to make the most out of every week instead of wait till 1 guy decided okay I have 75% of the map thats good enough for my legacy, lets break it up now.?

Hmm, interesting. See, in Elusive, our approach to drama is - if you don't like it here and would be happier somewhere else, then go. God bless ya.

We don't try to resolve little bickering brick-a-brack for fear that if we don't hold everyone together we won't be a factor anymore.

Elusive is what it is. It had a purpose for Narla, and it has a purpose for Nemesis, that is bigger than any one player. It is a tool Proski gave to the players of the Arch server to preserve balance in TW. They chose to use it against Narla. Thus far, they haven't chosen to use it against Nemesis. And my fear is, time is running out. The stronger Nemesis gets, the more land it gets, the closer we get to the new server (some say servers), all work to the detriment of maintaining fun TW here.

And not formed Elusive in the first place? I would have left the server. I was already gearing up my wizard on sanctuary and joined a tw faction there.

Question - whether Alpha and a handful of other old timer's I have seen running around Arch lately would have returned if Narla was rolling 3 factions in 20 minutes and the map was monochrome in that disgusting pink color?

There were alot of good people that started on this server, that we had alot of fun with, and left when TW was over (looking around for the old impulse barbs, the arch bros, and many, many more . . . .)

The server WAS well positioned to not have a mass exodus when the next server opens, but not now.

good luck to us all if a PVP server comes out, I really do fear it would be the actual death of archosaur this time around. even if a bunch of people share the desire to stay here, when enough of our reasons for playing (friends) quit without notice, its over. and its funny because TW is almost always the root cause, like i said, even no matter how much of a carebear anyone might be

only question is enjoy it with just your faction before it ends, or tear down the berlin wall and let freedom rain down like a godly ****ing firestorm upon us!

So if we do break down this "Belin wall" and we have freedom etc (w.e u wanna call it) and things are awesomely awesome ...... but then a new servers does comes out. Will this server still die or will people still think this server is worth it, also again its another "what if" but opinions please.
