Now minutes to 1 o clock in the afternoon. Been lf a barb for fc 80-90 since 5 0 clock this morning. Of course there is no shortage of assasins but not a single barb.
At what point will PWI adress the balance issues in this game? While you are at it fix the rubberbanding at some point.
The game isn't dead but right now its taking one heck of a downward spiral.

There are plenty of excellent barbs on every sever. Fuzzy suspects most simply don't answer world chats for random squads to Frost. What is the point? By the time a good barbarian gets up to 8x or 9x they mostly have their squads sorted out and culled down to guild members and friends.
....and if you are having trouble finding a barb to tank Frost for you, the panda does not envy how hard it will be once you want to start running delta. b:shocked0 -

I know the pain of waiting for a barb for frost runs. I waited hours some days. I solved that issue by marrying a barb. LOL! Worked pretty well for me b:laughI **** bigger than you...

Oh and there I was thinking that there are less barbs playing because I can see that for myself. It seems barbs got a skill upgrade called stealth and I didnt know.0

Go with two bms and lure less mobs.....(work with heavy veno too)
I played a barb for two years long long tima ago, and i usually qq about never having a cleric in my squad....
So its not unbalanced..
1 you got a unlucky day
2 there are more options in game

Barb friend of mine made a lot of money in his 80s by pretty much only going to parties that paid him or gave him hypers.

When I do a normal FC squad it is impossible to get a full group together, takes longer finding the members than it does doing the run. That is why I prefer doing a sin squad in FC. Running FC with 5 sins all bosses fall easy, then when all bosses are dead you can world chat a barb easy. What barb would pass up free exp, all they have to do is big pull and heads.as-sas-sin

This barb has long since retired unfortunately most barbs don't answer WC's simply because one simple mistake one bad lure one moment of lost aggro and people scream "fail", its far easier to not have the responsibility of protecting the squad and just play a DD class. As far as barbs for hire that in its self is a disgrace, play the class because you love it, because you love the power it holds, not because your guaranteed a spot or because you can get paid extra to fill a role in a squad.0

1) Then I, and a lot of people must be really unlucky, cause in Sanc, soemtimes, I've to wc for more than 10 times to get a barb for FCC and the like, and this happens quite often.
2) Barbs are the best tankers and pullers in FCC, no matter what.

This game lacked barbs at 2008, 2009, 2010 to. Was just as hard to find tanks before Tideborns or 5 aps or w/e you wanna blame. Took hours or even days to find a barb to farm 90 gear or get your FB done when i started this game.
Unless 1/6 of the player population is a tiger, you will always have these problems. People in general prefers high dmg classes over tanks so barbs are always lacking. The need for barbs i guess is more noticeable now since so many people wanna run Frost on a daily basis.
You can do frost without barbs anyway, just take a bit longer since you have to do smaller pulls.0 -

As to the shortage of barbs, why should someone keep playing a barb when other classes do EVERYTHING, except cata pulling, better?
Why would someone want to lvl to endgame where there is nothing to do?

And i never said barbs were not the best tanker/puller in frost...
Just said there are more OPTIONS..
Spot char to get this lvl did 2/3 frosts per day during a month or so.....
So please spare me you Einstein answers...
Another thing after aps is that bms now go dex/strg built making them with low vit.....
This is ok but when i see a fist bm with no interval at all having 5k hp just please.....
If why made a bm, i made him axe/vit till 99 just so i could pull frost and not crying for a barb all the time....

Compilation reason of barbarian disappearance :
- squad = " If you fail once > you are 100% fail barb "
- rank gears change pvp class ranks (some people say barbarian on bottom)
- pain full boring early solo days for some people
- to busy demand / suggest correct true form for untamed
- playing barb (or cleric) may make you mad after several or many failed squad member
- While you trying the best to keep the mob from attacking anyone other than you, the other squishy try their best to make the mob attack them. Then blame you when it happen.
- The game changes make many various way to replace you
- You create the character with help people in mind but after reaching high level people tell you to . . " go away, we only need 5 aps. " b:bye More ironic if the one tell you these is someone who you help before on certain boss, fb, bh, cultivation quest.
- You wondering is the class only there to help squad goes up to high level and left in the dust later

^^ That pretty much sums up all the main reasons.
Why should, a barb that enjoys the tranquility of knowing that his trusted squad will never call him fail if someone crit-dies, respond to random squads just to get humiliated by aggro/DD h0rny people.

The barb and cleric are the most if not THE classes that have been discredited, abused and name called most of all.

*points down* My sig is the answer to that. I barely play now. Cheaper for me to play said game in sig, I don't have the time or patience or knowledge to try merchent etc. I prefer going out and earning money through grinding and stuff.
Obviously I could get them instances, but what I'm saying is, with the people I'd end up going with, there's a 99% chance I'd squad with a high aps person I can't keep aggro off.
For pvp I have 24k hp, I get killed by sins that unstealth and tick my charm once to kill me. Pointless. The good sins don't get caught in random aoes.0 -

Having run a number of fcc's on an alt recently I can agree that its hard to find a barb to run fcc. The way to finding a squad isn't world chat, its friend listing anyone who you ever complete an fcc with sure you can world chat when you just need extra dd but most barbs and clerics go with ppl they know.
Also if the bm is any good they can make the pulls and tank whatever bosses by like lvl 85+ it also makes the run a lot quicker. I've done plenty of fcc's without a barb.0 -
People arent cut out to be a good barb. Its too much work, and you dont get praise for it. Its typical.
I loved my barb on Sanc, idk why people QQ so much about it.
But yeah...I feel ya. No barbs around.....
I know what would fix it. Re-skin the barbs. Multiple true forms. Fix aggro/damage ratio.
Oh wait, there I go again, suggesting the same **** that we have been suggesting to PWE for the past what....2-3 years? b:shutup0 -

. Just, rule number 1, keep her addicted to game and rule number 2, try to find cleric that doesn`t do most of her farming in west =/. Trolling Sid since So Hot

If I knew in advance 5 aps would come, I would never have lvled my barb to start with.

any 9x bm that cannot tank full fcc should go cry in a corner...been doing it uncharmed since 82, yes you die a lot at the begining but as you learn the instance and your class the deaths go away and you dont hsvee to spam WC for 30+ minutes for a fuzzy
in short...learn to playGifs are hard to make work here0 -
