    I think the developers are actually looking into the ubiquitous rubber banding problem. I saw a huge forum chain about it where people posted youtube videos and pc info for the developers, which the GM running it said where very helpful. The only way I have found to unlock the rubberbanding is to wait a few seconds before moving again (during the suspended but not actually moving phase) or click fly/unfly to free it up. None of the other ideas suggested like hitting WASD direction keys or messing with the in-game graphics settings or changing ISPs or getting faster internet, or making sure your pc drivers are updated or changing pcs, have worked for me so far. (I have also played outside the USA and at different locations in the USA with ping times ranging from smaller than 100ms to larger than 5000ms without noticing any differences in frequency or severity of rubberbanding. I have used DSL, satellite and now high speed cable internet)

    To avoid the rubberbanding that you get when you autopath to a NPC just manually click on the map or terrain when you get close, so you don't actually land on top of the head of the NPC and thus get caught in that rubberband trap. The only other way out of that one that I've found is fly/unfly.

    If anyone has anymore tips on how to deal with rubberbanding it would be great to hear them.

    Lately I finished my last of the Tideborn quests on my barb (now lvl 62). Rubberbanded going from teleporter to elder of Raging Tide just hitting the steps and rubberbanded on way back to teleport...Really annoying :(
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Hmmmm, my most frustrating rubberband was a while back either in FCC or a BH. Either way I was trying to save the healer but in doing so I ran over a tiiinnnnyyy piece of rubble. Llux rubberbanded back on top of it about ten times and by then everyone was dead. b:surrender

    Me rubber bands when I forget to turn off effects in huge exp room and get an triple sparks, HF, subsea mire, dragons breath, parasitic nova and BB. Squad waited for like half an hour to continue lol. They were nice enough not to kick me.

    I quit pwi because I've been stuck on general summers' head for a week. I can't trade, I can't move, I can't jump, I can't fly, I can't even teleport with stones.

    I then resorted to attemtping to bypasses pwi's **** defense and removed the source of rubberbanding myself, resulting in my client auto-crashing because I can't find the proper way to bypass. anyone know? but hey, I fixed rubberbanding. free-lance programmer fixed something that's been a problem for what feels like a year in a matter of minutes. that's more productive than what the dev's are doing.

    What about the teleport spell you get as a default? If you cast it from General Summer I'm pretty sure you'll end up around the crazy stone lady in west.
