here one example that its NOT normal.
we all get our supply stash. after lvl50 you need a hammer to open it. hammer worth 2-3mil (to current gold price) which you defenetly cant afford. so you buy a hammer from boutique for 2-3mil (or real cash) and open your stash to get...poo...a magicsword. so you saying its worth 2-3mil? defently NOT.
they say even low lvls have a right here to tell their oppinion..indeed they do but they are not involved in inflation yet. they cant wear rank 8/9 yet...wonder why they still have to flame the forums even tho it has nothing to do with them.retired 11/11/2009 cause of packs. came back 8 months later just to realise it got worse. retired second time 10/11/2010.0 -

If you grind in game and npc your drops, you can buy hp charms without using any coins. You just have to do a lot of grinding.
They have made announcements about this, and I am in a hurry, so I will not spell out any details.
Meanwhile, none of their other games offer the kind of customizability that perfect world offers. And if you think that does not matter, you should look at how much money second life pulls in. Anyways... character customization matters, and so does gameplay (for that, see another game which I think we are not supposed to mention in these forums).
The problem people have, I think, when they say the game is dead, is that this game is running so far below its potential, in terms of where it could be (and perhaps will be).0 -
At first I felt wierd that we can buy rep at cash shop. But Rep price crashed. And i think its a good idea0

So I always hear everybody cry about Reputation in the Cash Shop for low money, Hyper Stones, Anni Packs and all this stuff.
But think about WHO benefits from it:
Mainly cash shopers.
I dont want to spent 20 or more Dollars only to get Rank 8 or 9.
Okay finally I dont have a Lvl 90+ Chara but if I would have one... b:chuckle
The only bad thing I see in this "event" in the Cash Shop is that the price for gold raises into sky highs in the AH b:angry

It's like a I keep saying over and over, the lifespan of a player has dropped. Ontop of that players will look at their new shiny tank 8/9 gear and have fun with it for around 2 months, get bored and quit.

I'm not being lazy by saying I can't get anything in-game now... I just happen to have a life and cannot play 24/7 anymore... Back when the game came out anyone could get anything trough game... AND THAT is what gaming is about. Not increasing the prices and making people spend more and more money just to be able to keep up with the other group of people who spend huge amounts of money.
Do you think PWE is caring about if no one can beat those large factions? No they just want more money coming regardless of the reason.
They aren't making you a favour! They are basically offering you an oppurtunity to spend money on a free to play game when back then you wouldn't have to spend a single penny to achieve the things you need to spend money on now.

You know that, at the end of the race, they are going to give a trophy to the winners.
But guess what? they started giving out trophies to everyone in the race, way before they reach the finish line.
Some people will get pissed of.
Some will keep running.
But there is no point in reaching the goal now. The real meaning of the race is dead.

But PW is now just a online chat with moving characters, that roam around with no real goal.
Personnally, i love the felling of satisfaction when i can get something i worked hard for.
I understand some the CS'rs position too; not every1 can play 6 hours a day 7 days a week. But this is just... ridiculus.

I run the race, because I like it.. and ok, toss in a hurdle or two, and I'll just pace myself better, and show them what years of REAL experience look like...
Watch them get winded, get cramps and fall out or ok.. put their trophy up on their little shelf.
I run the race for me, and the satisfaction of doing my best. Really does not matter if others win too, I think ok.. thats cool too... Let them have their day.
Then one day, a reason to run fast will come... and the GOOD runners will get out there, do it and the ones that are not so good will fall flat.
See its not so much about 'hey.. they got what I got but for almost nothing!' Really there is satisfaction in every moment you've already invested....
I remember the early days, when there were no high levels to tank for us, and how it went badly until we all learned... later how we went to the same place and kicked ***. Most of us are still close friends... To me, that kinda is.. my trophy and no one -- ever -- can ever have that - less they go through same.
The ones that did grind out Rank 8, or grind out the cool stuff that are now in boxes.... thing is... you have real memories attached to it... The Rank 8 I bought.... the boxes that gave me rares.. does not.

Uh? It still cost 66-85m to get. Rank 8 isn't a non-accomplishment just because it isn't as expensive as 640m. And that's funny, cuz Rank 8's only use for me as a cleric is the weapon, ring, and robe. That's not even 25% of all the gear one player will have. People still farm Nirvana. People still do FF. People still are doing their chrono quests and their cultivations in rebirth. Nothing at all has actually changed, besides a crapload of people getting a few piece of Rank 8 gear. The price of cannys went down when the Rank 8 sale left, now they're going back up because people realized there's a lot more to farm. Likewise with raptures.
Really, you're making much ado about nothing. Warping was always an option in Mario, but unlike Mario, you need to reach near the end of the game to use Rank 8 to begin with (inb4zomgoraclehypers). A lot of the people posting I see posting on accounts in their 50s-90s. My wife and I had said as soon as I got her a pair of Deicides we'd farm for Rank 8. This made it easier because in all honesty we didn't wanna spend 1.28 billion coins. A small handful of overall people who play this game are severely put off by making it easier to attain endgame gear, but now it's easier for F2P players to achieve it, and cash shoppers will still get it and still refine the **** to +12 to give themselves the advantage. Nothing in this game has changed at all, especially the QQing. Some small niche of players are so idealistic about every facet of gameplay, as well as fault-finding, they find any reason to ***** and moan if other players get to have what they want, easier than they do.
Go play the game, it's not dead. Oh wait, nevermind, posting on the forums whining is their game.0 -

Gold is 1.5mil over there currently and has been for pretty much a year now. Can only be obtained by responding to people selling over WC of which there are less and less people doing that. TB got some people interested again, but since the ETA on getting Warsong and Nirvana over there is six months, people will probably leave in droves again and that version will officially die.
As for PWI, the gold price will inevitably go back down to around 300-500k after the sale. Possibly a bit less though. How much depends on whether or not the rep/chips/medals stay in the CS and at what price.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
