    DQ points made it easier to obtain actually, we just need to see the pricing on the rank 9 materials. Otherwise, tokens could have gotten it alone.

    Who cares? Just use it to your advantage? I mean.. seriously... you can buy gold with in game money... at least you can get cash shop things without spending real money. I don't spend money on this game anymore and I get whatever I want. =D It just takes a little longer then others.

    With the -int craze at its peak for sometime, most melee players agreed in a thread awhile back said that r9 just plain out sucks, since -int can still out DD for the most part.

    Whats scary are r9 mages and archers. b:shocked

    But still...r9.....r9......lets see who will be first upon getting r9.

    I imagine it would cost thousands of dollars and thats just not within an acceptable amount for a video game.... unless I'm funding it and making profit from it. b:laugh

    That being said.... lets see what new armor the expansion brings that could possibly be equal to the rank 9 from farming...

    (This is just what I did.)
    300,000 rep = 12,000 Wraiths Officer Badges

    1 Badge = 8 Tokens
    1 Pack gets 15 Tokens
    12,000 Bagdes takes 96,000 Tokens
    96,000 Tokens = 6,400 packs of tokens

    Add in the chip fee+chips for the general summer tokens

    I can think of a handful of LC people who will probably go for rank 9 now.

    Inbe4: I farmed my rank with my friends they got no benefit but sacrificed all that time for me. 100% non cash shopped. b:laughb:laughb:laugh

    I just did the math for rep, that's all I did because across servers items cost different amounts but tokens and packs always cost the same. Tokens about 10k each, packs are always 1 gold for 1 or 45 gold for 50.

    You're forgetting the Tokens for the rings and stuff. You need 319,968 chips just for the ring. That already adds a healthy 2,876,830,290 to it. And that's just the ring.

    Up to rank 6 it's understandable to farm it. Getting anything higher than that would take a really long time imo if it weren't for packs that give rep.

    Oh I read and it said Rank 9 only costs 900 mills. The rep may "only cost that" but rank 9 gear doesnt. And no one gets 300k rep just to have rep. Don't forget gold is now 800k+ and going to be that way till the end of the sale.

    Me no. Rank 8 for my main's class is worthless.

    But theres a few people that claim to have farmed their rank 8 gear with their friends who got nothing in return.

    omg guys u know u dont have to get it, most ppl dont even think about getting r8 so why all the QQ about r9?

    and yes farming that stuff is pretty possible, if u get a 5.0 char u can make money so easily, combined with some vendoring and money is raining, its not that hard to get that stuff anymore. not like i already farmed it, idc cause i dont think i need to be competitive.

    but seriously its fun to see all guys thinking pwi is not fair because u cant get the best gear in 2 mouseclicks

    So at AH gold prices, each chip costs ~4200 (375 chips for 2 gold rate, assuming 800k gold)

    So, the price of each R9 piece is down to about 40% of what it normally is.

    So the weapon would only cost like ~5billion coins now, instead of 12 billion? (Including cost to get 300k rep)

    Still seems relatively unattainable, though 60% off is pretty big sale.
