I refuse to do Belial with a melee tank. It's so much easier with an archer tanking.

    Our squad setup:

101 BM, -int build at 4.0 aps with 7k hp w/o barb buff.
    Me
    lvl 86 BM
    lvl 82 Archer
    Lvl 94 Cleric
    Lvl 88 Cleric

We had a squad wipe 2 times. I personally died a total of...6-8 times because I was unable to figure out the timing for when to spark to prevent death :X

But we managed to kill the jackass on the third attempt after establishing to res healers before DD's.

    WTF!

He goes randomly after someone shortly after he power-ups. Can take 2 seconds or more, it's not always the same. Either way, save 2 sparks (for double spark, single spark is too ineffective due to lag, too much risk), and STAY AT MAX RANGE. When you see him power-up, prepare for his random aggro -- this means no long channeling spells or anything that you'll regret.

If you stay at max range he will MOVE to you, giving you more time to react.

After this is done everyone should REPOSITION.

Oh and don't be lazy and use macros then QQ "but I couldn't cancel my macro to spark for some reason".

If you are a wiz and don't have chi for sparking, use distance shrink from him when he's channeling it should be safe and interrupt his channeling due to getting too far out of range. Now I can't comment on alternatives for other classes but use your brain :p

    2 things.

    1. It was my first time ever getting to see Belial and do him.
    2. It was on my BM. Which is lvl 85 and, trust me if I knew how his random arggo went like you do I wouldn't of died so much.
All i was told was that he could 1-shot basically anybody. Sadly, didn't fully understand that until i got into close range and he showed me how evil he is :(
