I pull and tank with Sekhmet (my armored bear) because it's fast and dense. Nice multi-pet, I must say.

Now you guys make me feel bad for selling my Armored Bear xD I had the Shaodu Cub already so I thought having three tanks in my pet bag is quite pointless. I only used it for luring once or twice...I think I'll go tame the fb89 canctus though.

It's just something I picked up on from observing another veno.

Tough turns it into a rock for like 15 seconds~ can survive just about any pull.

You use tough before the pull and then send him to the target. He is also moderately fast.

I just tried the armored bear last night when I was pulling Wurlord in 2-3 and I must say, it did work well compared to my Kowlin dying right away. b:chuckle

What pet do you use for the heck of it? I use my Kowlin as a debuffer or my Ninetailed Firefox as a puller in BHs. I've actually been looking forward to level up a Snow Hare but I saw a lv. 75 one in AH for 10k and I snagged it. I just had to. But I don't know yet if I want to use it.

i always use an armored bear as a main pet and the kowlin for luring and always in tt60 for cleaning the way till bosses cuz it has more attck power than armored b:cute

Honestly, after 89, I always used a cactus to lure. So much easier than with a melee pet. In fact, I'd use it for room 26 to lure away the mob while I dug boxes.

I did occasionally use the bear to lure when there were a bunch of mobs in front of what I wanted to lure and would just **** over the cactus in one hit though. Like the first boss of fb99 Heaven.

I have herc and nix, but also some other pets because they're so cute. But I still rather use each one for what they can either manage or, just for the fun of it.

Herc: SexSlave - just renamed it last night because its amusing

Nix: McNugget - Its MY pet so I'll name it whatever silly name I want

Kowlin: Noobcake - I love calling it out, even if its just to send it to certain death often, plus everyone loves the name! There's just something funny about it whenever either I or someone on the squad goes "Noobcake, Noooo!!!" when it dies from a suicidal pull lol.

Dark Wanderer: Nazgul - just reminds me of those things from Lords of the Ring.

Cloud Skatefish: U.F.O. - its funny when you're flying above and send this thing down on the mobs on the ground nearby newbies at night or darkened outside areas lol.

GW: Ganchan - I named it after one of my favorite characters from another game because he was so tiny there and this one is so HUGE (don't use it too much lately though because he so slow lol).

I have some more pets, but I haven't really named them or used them much so I'm forgetting at the moment. Have fun with pets!

Well, my eldergolth is a main-slot fully levelled pet. So hoorah for that I think. It's called Ditzy.

My Kowlin is named "Suicidal". I see a theme here with Kowlin. It actually does some pulls better than the eldergolth, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! (But the Eldergolth can pull Ninetails...)

My only real 'fun pets' are the firefox - so pretty, and a pretty good attacker. And My snakevalley bloodkin that was my main pet for a great many levels and got named "Vixesita" after a fellow guild member. People often got our names confused, and adding to that was a good idea. It was my main pet at the time. She's left, but I still pull out the wolf for fun sometimes.

I do have a herc (♥ChiBag♥), I use him in FCC and when in OUF cuz the mobs like to well...mob you.

I've got 2 Ground PK/TW pets. Kowlin (LilXaro♥) and Shadou Cub (Demon's♥).
Kowlin is gonna get Pounce and herc def buffs so he can last in the AoEs on the crystal in TW.
Shadou Cub is my baby and was my tank for FCC before Herc, I made people shut up because they said my cub couldn't tank. I maxed Flesh Ream, Tough, and Pounce. Flesh Ream drops PKrs hp fast, Tough lets him live through AoEs, and Pounce stuns my target. Pounce also works wonders in TW, stop a cata barb b:victory

I've got a Tabby (♥Emily♥) she's kinda just for looks since she's only 70 at this moment. My best friend and game sister helped me tame her. I named it after her for that reason. (♥♥♥♥♥ to Lola_Frost, Lilah_Orchid, RoseWater_ of Sanctuary Server)

Cuddly Pup (♥MadMax♥) is definately just for looks. I named him after my game dad, CrazyMad_Max.

And I have my Frogling (VoidOf♥) I'm gonna get Pounce and the Nix attack buff for him aswell as maxing Shriek (interrupt channelling) and Toxic Mist (Wood dmg attack). He's my lil magical attacker, I have Demon Venomous Scarab (Lowers Wood Defense)
so he can hit for more.

I have a plumpfish (♀Venus♀) for those rare water quests I get, it's only 81. She tanks the fish boss for that plat charm from TB quest chain. (I named it after VenusFox/Venus_Fox for personal reasons.)

My flying pet is a Infernal Eidolon (Squishy♥) I only use it for mq because sometimes it's flying mobs, and I hate the lil bugger. He's too squishy, hence his name. Till I get my nix that's my flying pet.

I want the nix because I'm a PvP Veno and people seem to fear a nix in PvP b:chuckle
Also <.< Buying the buffs for another pet is very costly....I realize I'm doing it for 2 other pets, doesn't change the massive amounts of money going into them.

I got the fire chicken from FB59 (technically a Dodon Laronist), the one that appears wined or unwined on the fire path, especially near the fire token. Named him "duduhead" (since "doodoo/doodyhead" had too many letters).

Duduhead was a great source of entertainment.

Over a year ago, when breaks in FF after Messenger of Fear were especially common, I'd send out duduhead past the shade group to one of the corner group of ladies. He wouldn't hit them. I'd use the attack command (alt+1) but make him halt just before he reached. They'd aggro to him. He'd die. Revive, repeat. The squad would watch him die a bunch of times until finally.. the mobs stopped aggroing to it. Would have him run around all over that room and no mob would aggro at all, unless he actually hit something.

The fire chicken, combined with the noise he makes while running, and the look of him trotting around inside that room while looking down the ramp, caused many laughs.

An ex friend of mine.. he hated the fire chicken with a passion. At the time, Fragrance took like 10-15 mins by herself. I'd position duduhead right next to him, knowing he had game sound on, so he could hear the "koo-kaaaaa" sound. He'd move to the other side of Fragrance. I'd run around to the other side to where he was, pull the pet back, and make the pet move next to him to attack Fragrance again. Squad was in tears laughing on vent.

I've got many pets, I love having many pets b:laugh

1. GW Gorrum (Gorum Nova, sword of light from Slayers) (basic tank)
2. Sawfly Maia (partly after Maya the Bee) (air killer)
3. Frog Charmlie (aka. Prince Charles the Charming) (supporter/debuffer)
4. Piggy Sweetie (no expla(air tank)
5. Ape Oook! (in honour of the Discworld's Librarian) (puller and ranged-tank)
6. Kowlin Bagherra (after Jungle Book character - the original one, not the Disney's <piiiip>) (lurer and general land grind pet... aaand for looks b:dirty)

will get at lvl80:
7. Great Bear Stella (as Stella Polaris) (2ndary tank, and looks)
8. Plumpfish Jabba (StarWars' Jabba the Hutt - they do look simmilar, don't they? b:chuckle)

Right now I've still got my Lunar Lupin called Howlin b:laugh from before I could use Kowlin.

I also have 2 mounts now, but I'll probably drop one evebtually and get either:
- Bear Cub Nuka ('Seaton dobutsuki: Kuma no ko Jacky' white bear cub Jill's name in our language version - I've watched it when I was little and loved it) for 3rd tank/general pet
- Glacial Seed for a 'cute pet'
- Fire Fairy as a 'cute pet' (especially if I go demon)
- Wolven Grandmother... yeah, a girl can dream

I shall not get myself a herc. It's U.G.L.Y.!! As for nix... well... if at one point of the game I can afford it, then maybe. And I'd have to think of a really epic name for him...
