    It's a mob inside FB59 cave. I'm not sure about the name but I think it has the 'Florafang' part in it. I used it for quite some time. It looks nice and it was fun to confuse the lower levels and make them wonder how on earth did I tame that b:laugh My friend did the same but with Kun Kun (a Celestial Antelope mob).

    Florafang Guard, they're in the Valley of Wood by Ofotis. There's 8 total (4 in the pit with Ofotis, 2 grouped with a dryad and vipent each, 2 roamers), of which one of the roamers remains when wined.

    I have a herc ("Anutz" named after my badass BM hubby) but absolutely love using my other pets on a regular basis

    cactus from eden: "Head" (use him for heads in fcc)
    fox: "Spicy"
    Armored Bear: "Bi-Polar" (Get alot of compliments on this one lol)
    Cragrock Warrior: "Dude" (just cause he's fun to whip out and scare people)
    Glacial Walker: "MrFreeze" (Looooove my freezy!)
    Kowlin: "Luring" (Says "Irca's Luring" hee hee hee)
    Plumpfish: "Gus" (He looked like a Gus to me)
    Sawfly: "Ouch"

    Thats all I can remember for the moment. Figured if you can name your pets you might as well have fun with it b:laugh

    I'm not so sure, the story about her being abandoned because of Odysseus love for Penelope always struck me as sort of tragic and i always imagined her as a melancholic beauty. Also, i was born on a fishing town, and Calypso has always been important for sea going peoples. A mag is certainly very far from most statues i've seen dedicated to her...

    If you'd like a better name for the Kowlin I'm suggesting 'Cocolin'
    . It doesn't sound much like the pet it resembles but...it sounds cute I think XD

    Having a theme for the pet names is a really nice idea. Though I personally prefer them to have 'unique' names because I see personalities in those pets....heh that's what happens when you write stories XD

    I still use my starter wolf, when I don't want my pet to get aggro but still do a lot of damage, lol. Tabby kitten, too, thought he's still kinda mid level and I need to update his debuffs.... XD

    My veno uses three pets, as the fourth pet slot is currently for a mount. My main pets are a glacial walker (Butler) and a Skatefish (Evilyne), both of which I keep lvled. I also use a low lvl snow hare called 'pff' for the heck of it. I pull out the snow hare for fun when I'm sure that no one will notice how little damage it does. b:chuckle
    Syredrae ~ lvl 100 Cleric (main character)

    Auryl ~ lvl 100 Venomancer

    Mainas ~ lvl 80 Barbarian

    Herc - BanPhone (What, its yellow and multifunctional, must be a banana phone!)
    Kowlin - Azreth (An OC of mine, kind of an assasin and mysterious guy)
    Lyncean Hunter - Mako (That should be the strangest pet I got lol I tamed him somewhen at lvl 21 and kept him since that for grinding and stuff. Oh yea, FF7 ftw :D)
    Tabby Plumdrop - Nouka (Somehow a cute version of Nuka from Lion King 2 lol)
    Baby Phoenix - Soul (Its freezing there..)
    Nien Beast - Calcid (If I could name him)

    ♥Tectonic Rhinodrake (named Taweret): My first tanking baby girl and my primary pet when out in the field or just want some pretty good damage while dealing with bosses. Notorious for taking agro. >_<

    ♥Armored Bear (named Sekhmet): I had to get this just because the bear looked like some armor I dressed my pet rat up in. She is my primary tank.

    ♥Mistrealm Gargantuan (named Osiris): Secondary tank if Sekhmet isn't available...most likely cause I get distracted...

    ♥Ninetailed fox (named Bastet): Pulling pet, nuff said.

    ♥Asgard Plumpfish (named Sobek): Water pet, nuff said.

    ♥Tabby Plumdrop (named Vera lynn): She looks a lot like a kitty I have in real life, so I fell in love.

    on my veno ive tamed every single pet you can in the game except for a few rare ones i also have a herc and nix i havent named any of them sense theres so many i dont have the imagination to do it and frankly im just to lazyb:chuckle

    All the names belong in the Egyptian Panteon. I'm a bit surprised that it isn't the Tabby (the name that doesn't belong) that is named Bastet.

    We maybe dont need the extra petslots for playing but it sure makes it alot more fun having a litlle army in your pocket :)
    Easy as well, you can have a pet for each purpose and lvling them aint that hard after all thx to the cube :) Some just look way to cute to putt into the bank ..

    My kitty in real life that looks like the tabby plumdrop is named Vera Lynn.

    Surprisingly, nobody in game has been able to guess where my names come from when all they comment on from my rhinodrake is, "holy ****, that's the biggest pet EVAAAAAAAAAAR".

    While I agree that 10 slots are enough, I don't agree that you should just use two pets and to hell with the rest.

    Well a better run down~

    Herc - tanking/minor dps
    Huggy hare - bsing and a few laughs
    Kowlin - same as above but Im gonna use him more seriously soon enough
    Celestial Sting - For bosses with AOE mostly and to hold other range mobs in place til barb/whoever gets it.
    Armored Bear - My main pulling pet.
    Elysian Fowl - Main air tank.
