Huh... so the new mod thinks most of us are ignorant, that we don't understand, and that he's holding out hope that soon we will all eventually become enlightened?

Perhaps a better alternative would be to admit there's been some serious problems that aren't "most of the people here's" fault, that "most of the people here" are disgruntled for a reason, and to stop treating "most of the people here" like we're an enemy to be fought against.

If NightRage doesn't like how things are in pwi atm why would he want to be unbanned? or continue playing for that matter.
If YOU don't like how things are why do you still play?
Reason why players aren't heard is because no matter how much people QQ in forums
they still cashshop and play this game.
If i was a mod/admin or whatever too i'd pretty much ignore all like they do.

This game will go like pw-my..Die suddenly..get uber laggy(already is at least for most of us) be without any patches for long.. then after almost a year will get fixed.
(Yes pw-my for those who don't know got their first patch after 7months and now it's coming back to life)

We won't get anything positive from mods/admin etc till they start losing players/money.

We did not play the game. Game =/= Forums.
Game was no fun,
the forums are.

You're correct, Grim didn't create the problems. However, he's now put in the position of having to deal with them, and starting off with statements in which he portrays "most" of the players as ignorant isn't a good sign.

I actually do wish him well, but from what I've seen so far he's leaning towards an us-vs-them approach, which is simply fuel to the fire.

Really, the problem here is they can't seem to afford or won't afford forum specific moderators or administrators? For a forum of PW's size, they really should. I think that's what most of the complaint is about... Community Managers that are only part time juggling 3 or more different forums, leaving each of them feeling unattended, then all of a sudden throwing a bunch of new people on the fire with what appears little effort to find the best suited candidates.

You'd think each game makes enough money for one full time support staff per game. No, it doesn't worth that way here. Every paid employee works for nearly every hosted game they have when they really should have at least one person for each of the major forums working full time as a game specific GM and forum moderator.

I think that should include the slave labor as well. There should be forum-specific moderators, but of course we don't get that. I guess PW get what they pay for and if you read the 'welcome' thread, you'll see that most of the rage was actually directed at this even though the mods and admin were getting the direct heat.

Well, I'm deciding to post this here since you wont be locking the thread immediately. I might be partially breaking rule 15 but its unintentional, ill try and write it so that it isnt and I am avoiding rule 7 as much as i can.

By rereading the rules, it seems like the only threads we are allowed to post in general are nothing. Everything in the general forums can be put into another section making every thread a breach of rules. rule 13

Secondly, any complaint we seem to have can be placed in rule 12. Actually. EVERYTHING can be placed under rule 12. With a rule as vague as 12, it is kinda hard to see what is allowed or not.

Rule 14 doesnt seem to get enforced unless it seems like the thread is "bad" in the first place.

Now. as for this thread in particular and the threads similar to it. Aside from posting in general forums which might be seen as rule 13, and possibly seen as inappropriate in rule 12, the only thing wrong with this thread is that rule 15 was broken, which can be edited out. but when thinking about the other threads that were closed etc, seems like everything is being put as rule 12 or the occasional rule 13 with move/closes.

i dont understand why people keeps Seriously complaining in these forums, even taking so much time to write all those walls of text, dont you think 2 years is enuff to realize that it's totally worthless ? I dont get it .. only advise is dont waste your time here, and play the game untill you really feel that you can't nomore. When the point arrives when you can't stand all the magnificent changes then you look for another pastime, if you spent tons of money and it's hard for you to let go , well then let that be a lesson, next time you'll invest in an actual 2 way relationship.

Most of those people are people who came in late to the game, where they cannot compare what it was like before things turned to ****. But once the game they know and love turns rotten, they will feel the same way as most of us do now.

Well I haven't hit 100, but if you add all the character's levels I had together it'd be like 156... if that counts?

Let's break this down and see if we can figure out the rule Nightrage was breaking.

1. Transmit unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable content. Profanity filter dodging and filtered words/statements with clear vulgar intent will also be considered outright violations.

2. Post or transmit sexually explicit images, text or other content that is deemed by PWE staff to be offensive.

Nothing anywhere like this. It probably was seen by frankie as offensive, and frankly it should have been, because it told him very politely and quite succinctly how he and his bosses weren't doing their jobs.

3. Impersonate any person including, but not limited to, representatives and staff of PWE .

Nope.

4. Advocate cheating during gameplay including, but not limited to, modification of the game program files.

Nope.

5. Harass, threaten, verbally abuse PWE as an entity along with its staffers, representatives and all registered users through any and all available channels (forums posts, PMs, in-game chat, etc.).

Nope. Simply expressed an opinion, there is nothing abusive or threatening here. It's not a drool-covered "I love PWI11!!!!11!1 post, but it shouldn't have to be.

6. SPAM by posting frequent and/or annoying messages in the forums.

Nope.

Violation of any of the above mentioned rules may be considered grounds for an immediate ban. The severity of the ban will be at the discretion of PWE staff and will range in duration from an initial warning to permanent loss of posting privileges on the PWI Forums. In more extreme circumstances inappropriate forum behavior may also result in permanent suspension of game accounts. Once banned the decision is final and there is no appeal process.
