      It does have CM listed. :/ Do CMs actually become employees and get payed? :D

      And the choice is all yours? b:surprised I can see applications wouldn't always be a best choice. As point made in Waffle's post, people nominating themselves for things like that normally wouldn't be good choices.. If it noticing helpful responses and their history and all, I'd say Hammy has a good chance of being one of them. b:chuckle Maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'm sure there's more people who are just as helpful of course and as qualified for the job. :3 Either way, whoever they may be, I wish them luck and hope they get involved in the community so that they actually have fun in the job rather than feeling picked on as I know a few mods have probably felt recently because people can't get to know them too well. :< Frankie.       I just hope the mods will be normal forums users with more than 5k posts now. It just doesn't cut it if our mod is someone nobody knows.

      The weird part was Konair was a regular until he became a MOD. Then he quit the forums entirely.

      Other than Rose and Hammy i can't think of anyone with over 5k posts that would make for a good mod. And Hamsta i wouldn't really like to see as a mod because it would eventually gimp his style. Many regulars have too much of an inclination for flaming (including myself) so we'd probably be looking at people who do keep active but rarely take the center stage in threads they're involved in (which mods really aren't suposed to do anyway). So we should be looking for familiar names that really don't get into flamewars...

      I think, knowing Hammy, that it wouldn't think it would mess anything up with him. b:cute I think he'd be very good at it, in fact. He would remind me of a certain CM that everyone misses. b:sad I think of anyone on the forums now, I agree that both of those are the best choices that I can see myself. I can't claim to know all that's involved with what people need to be like to be mods, really, or what they look for when choosing them, but for people who the community would get along with and who would help pick things up to being a little more lighthearted around here, I think Hammy and Rosie would be good choices.

      BUT.... From what Frankie is saying those people ( a "team") will be new to us. That's how I interpreted it. One person from other PWE boards, so we (technically) do not know her/him. Others... not sure... are they gonna come here out of the blue??? Seems like it to me.

      Guys, do you not see what Franke posted???? The team is already chosen. The previous thread (Waffle) was locked so people would not think there is a chance for ANY of them to become MOD. This thread is turning to be very similar. Sorry to say this, but please, stop debating about Reds and Hamsta.

      Bringing up a valid point, in all honesty, while I think they'd be good at the job, it really wouldn't be something nice to have pushed on them when they're such good members of the community. In fact, it may end up making them leave the forums altogether if things would get frustrating enough. b:sad And then THAT would be sad. Its kind of like a bittersweet kind of thing. Maybe a year ago it would have been good because there was much less venting going on here on the forums and I don't think that the mods had to deal with so much negativity as they do now.
