I think he was lvl 86 or so. He kept challanging the facs high lvls (I dare to count myself to that group) to duels, knowing he would pwn than. Than every time he (naturally) lost, he went QQing about how we 'cheated'

A grasp of the things I cheated to kill him:
First few duels: I 3sparked and 1shot him with gush. Aperently 3sparking was cheating. So the next few duels I didn't spark. He commences to 2spark, I seal him and kill him (2shots this time) (yes, him 2sparking was completly fair but me sparking was cheating).
Than aperently me sealing him was cheating. (he kept using his own little imume/dmg reduction skil, can't remember the name)
So I continue killing him a couple of times (getting hit this time, cause I didn't seal him), he runs off, and returns with a sudden uber confidence. At the start of the next duel, he suddenly popped some uber high lvl apo (I think it was dew of star prot).
So I 3spark, seal and 3shot him b:chuckle
Long story short: On that last duel I cheated cause I 3sparked to fight of his uber apo (which was perfectly fine to use).

I than got bored and left b:laugh

Some time later I saw him on my lvl 77 sin. So I ninja invite him for a duel, knowing he'd accept, and start of in stealth. The excuse after I killed him? He forgot to select me before the duel (I was in stealth, durdur)

According to the most recent GM post pk in SP is only bannable if it is repeated killing of the same person who is doing culti.

You can go in and kill every single person in the entire dungeon 1 time and it is not bannable. You can kill anyone doing regular quests all you want. You can kill anyone doing BH all you want.

The only thing that is bannable is repeated killing of low levels doing culti.


This can be changed without warning due to excessive whining. GMs change the rules daily and they are subjectively enforced based on how much money you have spent on the game.

A player heard differently from one of our in-game GM's, and pm'd me for clarification.

I've talked with the GM team, and my earlier assertion above was wrong;

The official rule:


Killing players in Secret Passage is not allowed, no matter what the circumstances are.

Good to know.... on RT it is not uncommon to find a handful of players hacking each other to bits in SP. Fuzzy will now steer clear of it.

...too bad though, at least in there the silly wizzy's and archers couldn't try to kite Fuzzy to one end of the map and then back again. b:chuckle

I also had the same assumptions you did. It would probably have saved people from some of the ambiguities and uncertainties of this rule if the instance and Cube of Fate Room 1 themselves were just switched to non-PvP. But that would require some work from the Dev team, and I'm sure they've got their hands busy with that announcement that's coming soon. b:victory

Frankie I request that you expand on the reasoning behind that, as it does not make much sense to me at all, it is a PvP server after all, and I have several emails from the support GMs whoever they may be, that say specifically if it is not safezone it is fair game.

Which is easily disobeyed with reporting flooding in, because heaven forbid there is any pvp on a pvp server. I mean honestly, with the way these pvp'rs complain, lets all merge into one big fat PvE server.

Side note: wouldn't it be easier to just make it a perma-safe zone?

do you really need to farm pk kills that bad to camp Secret Passage? i mean come on. obviously they cant fix safe zone areas or they would have fixed cube room 1 by now. it doesnt really matter what emailas you have because he says that it is the rule from now on. so trash those mails and stop camping SP. are you that fail that you cant pvp with people in your own lvl range?

ok, so why would it be bannaqble if a few lvl 90s go in there to have the higher grav, no flying and such on a PVE, where it is your CHOICE to be in PK. I understand this on PvP where the lowbies can't really do their stuff without getting nailed, but when u can walk right through it just by NOT going white at lvl 30, wtf is the problem. I mean, I guess we could all go up to Sadistic, but that's rediculously out of the way. Some of us enjoy the confined space, not having flyers and stuff like that. Someone explain to me how people who are in agreement of said pk, in said SP, and NOT getting in others way, is bannable, isn't that the whole point of PK on PvE?

If you actually played LC you'd know there are plenty of higher levels in HO/SP area... not just noobs...

Exactly the madness that takes place in SP doesn't center around newer player.
In most cases it's always the same, massive high lvl pvp war going on while lowbies just waltz on through without a scratch.

But there are low levels also who couldn't quest because people camping them.

I think the rule should only apply to PvP servers. PvE, hardly anyone turn pk on at low levels so pking in Secret Passage isn't a problem for low levels questing in that area.

Secret Passage is PK central on Sanctuary. Silver Pool too. West Arch, right outside the gate is PK and duel central, sometimes so many people dueling/PKing it lags my machine down to a slideshow.

It's fun to watch or duel if you don't like PKing.

Cube room 1 is becoming a serious problem on Sanctuary. People are starting to PK there a lot... That is getting annoying. 3 people in my faction got PKed in there the other day (room 1).

On Sanctuary, the PK fest in Secret Passage is actually helpful to lowbies. The massive AOE spam usually keeps the first room clear of mobs and makes it a quick scoot past the first room. b:chuckle

Actually yes , its banneable . i saw that screenshot and remember i was killed by that player too by that time .
And believe me , after i stayed dead watching him pk more lowbies he got teleported to a cage in plume city, where he coudnt move.. as the world chat ppl said xD . He was very angry so he began to trash talk in wc and then he got banned for some days.

Cube of fate also has a non safe zone, still, some friends got banned cause they'were caught killing people who just enter to the room. I think its pretty fair because one thing is pvp and another one is not letting players to lvl up, they are just taking care of their potential customers. thats all x3.

The fact is, is not banneable as long as a GM dont catch ya killing ppl or interrupting continuosly players questing.

The Cube needs to be fixed. Though, you don't lose exp or drop items when in the Cube on Sanctuary/PVE servers though... But it's really annoying having someone PK you over and over as you are trying to get to the exit.
