You'd be better off making a no-armor archer, but you'd have to +12 mdef cube neck, mdef warsong belt, +12 two lunar rings, +12 lunar cape with vit stones. All you would need is 52 strength. at least both those kinds are better than fist archer, thats like a fist LA bm with less HP pool, no skills, At least archers can kite still, fist archers can't . Arcane archer > fist archer. Fist archers are so fail, they are far too predictable because even mobs are way more difficult than fist archers, cause when you kite them. they are already getting mauled when they are locked.
Without refines or -int, your screwed. Because your damage is ****, your squishy. Not a viable build in PVE, not even PVP because anyone can kite you, even barbs can kite you even though it sounds dumb. But I rather keep my archer pure DEX.
And fists on barb... I rather keep my barb pure VIT TYVM. Fists are good on BMs, not other classes. I squad with one barb around my level when I was on my wiz doing TB quests against general feng and his HP was half of my barb's HP, thats how sad it is. He couldn't tank AT ALL. And wow, my alt BM have around his HP at level 50 b:sweat in PVP against barbs is ony that they still have high HP (but for barbs, its bad) even without vit.
Not using weapons they are NOT Every class should take THEIR OWN SPECIFIC weapon and apply it. Not using someone else weapon regardless of the add on. Its like an assassin using axes because of the berserk on calamity axes of blood >_>.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You might want to tell that to the fist archers in the game who have managed to tank a multitude of bosses. I'm sure they'd have something to say about it. I'm also pretty sure many fist archers have Lunar/Nirvana bows on the side for if they're in PvP. That's right, BMs aren't the only class who can carry multiple weapons in their inventory and use them.

Probably because they just call em claws. If ya notice, they aren't claws. They are blades, strapped to wrists, hands, or just really dang big bones of eldritch death. Stunning arrow > Deadly shot > aim low > kite > rinse and repeat. Have fun trying to reach the arcane archer, I heard from a friend that said some players she saw that played archers with arcane robes good. I prefer pure DEX archer over all TBH. Sure fist archers can swap to bows, but arcane archers can stun lock you faster and nuke your butt off.

Ok first off... You do realize that the crit rate and dexterity of archers is a necessity in dealing more damage right? What's the point of channeling faster when it deals literally no damage? Archer's damage is dex based so to put 150 magic in on an archer lowers critical rate, damage as well as overall suvivability. To be fist archer you won't need to restat much into STR, so it doesn't affect their bow damage much.
Second... I don't cash shop at all and I have 5.0. It's much easier for archers to get 5.0 since they have rank interval chest. Instead of QQing on forums and telling people to learn to play the game, you should learn to play the game yourself.
Third... You said you prefer Arcane because it's better, but in a later post you state you hate being OP. Contradict yourself much? If you hate being OP then what makes you think going your self proclaimed better arcane is going to make you any less OP? Learn to not fail. Also, learn to play yourself. If an arcane archer is so great, I challenge you to go make one, level it beyond level 40 (preferably to level 90 at least) and then go PK with it to prove your point. Seriously. Go prove that you're in any way right. None of this "my friend said this" bull****. If you can't, then BS is all you ever spew, and you can L2P as much as you want but as far as our avatars go, I'm a higher level then you, know more about my own class then you (without needing to spread the crappy "MY FRIEND SAID THIS" excuse, to boot) and I've learned more then you. Kindly learn not to be a dumbass, Yulk.
Because all fist archers should have a bow on the side, they don't need to reach your ****ty little arcane archer. Even if you have 50% channel, the fist archer just needs to pull out a bow and hit you once, maybe twice. You don't have the shields that wizards and clerics do that prevent one shots, Winged Shell would break in one arrow and the next arrow would indefinitely kill you because you've gone arcane.
Your failure is you assume all fist archers only ever uses fists. The fact of the matter is they don't. Many end game fist archers go pure dex until the high levels and then restat for fists - and they still have enough dex to use their bows. They would kill your arcane archer faster then you could cry "OP" and your entire theory that an arcane archer bests a fist user is proven wrong. All because you seem to assume a fist archer doesn't have a bow on the side, which is stupid in the first instance.
That would be like me assuming a fist BM or barb doesn't have axes.

I'm sorry, Maybe it's my tiredness. I haven't played PWI since maybe December when the Tideborn came out, and like I said I was still 18 then. I have played other versions of the game but yes when you don't play a game for so long you can suffer from gaming lapses, play-how and all... Anyway just been on here to see how the wonderful community of PWI are doing. Sad to say you going down hill faster then PW-MY and that is a tragedy...
I'll see what maintenance brings then I'm history from these forums.
There are some truly nice people here, and well make your own mind what the rest are.

Arcane Archers are better than this "epic" fist archer, because they can use their bows too. Its like archers using axes. Weird armor is one thing, but weapons? Are you serious?
