Dear European Players,

For all of you that think that everything should be tailored towards you in this game, please remember that

INTERNATIONAL=/= GLOBAL


I have truly had enough of the European players that complain. I have nothing against European players that understand the point above and that the servers are in the US and the times are fit for people in the US and Canada, and because the game is tailored for the US and Canada, that makes it INTERNATIONAL because the US and Canada are TWO SEPARATE COUNTRIES. Just because YOU CHOSE to play on this server DOES NOT mean that PWE SHOULD tailor the game for you. There are European servers for Perfect World (but not run by PWE), and therefore YOU are lucky they even allow you to PLAY ON THESE SERVERS AT ALL, they could very easily just IP Block everyone but the US and Canada, simple as that, so get it through your thick skulls that just because you can play here doesn't mean that TIMES FOR EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FOR YOU.

    2. of or pertaining to two or more nations or their citizens: a matter of international concern.

    3. pertaining to the relations between nations: international law.

    4. having members or activities in several nations: an international organization.
    5. transcending national boundaries or viewpoints: an international benefit; an international reputation.

    And the way it is used to describe the game best fits 1 and 4, which is true because like I said in my first post, the US and Canada are two separate countries, thus making the international bit true

    You, my friend, are being ignorant. There's only two of you (USA and Canada) and 35 of us. That's not including the middle east, that's not including Russia, that's not including South Africa, and that's not including South America.

    There are a whole HELL of a lot more of us than there are of you. Don't even start to whine about it. Find some other place to troll.

    That is FAR from the point, maybe you should read this. Says it right in the first paragraph, primary audience is NORTH AMERICA, NOT EUROPE

    Actually, they aren't trolling at all.
    It's a valid point that has been brought up multiple times.
    The game is international because it's for Canada and the US, but other countries can play.
    The times are suited for Canada and the US.
    Just because people from other countries can play, doesn't mean PWI needs to make times better for them as well.

    I honestly don't care about this at all. I'm just agreeing that it's annoying seeing these threads.

    1. Dont break this rules & no matter what: DONT TRUST ANYONE!
    2. Dont pay wine or heads fee (like to get kicked after that?) b:chuckle
    3. Dont borrow items (since when return gms scammed stuff?) b:embarrass
    4. Dont use your password in faction-forums (like hacks?) b:fatb
    5. Dont give your mats to the tt-banker (obvious, not?) b:beg
    6. Dont wait for help, or heals, or any other miracles,... (for more examples just play pwi and you will hate the whole humanity) b:bye

    From what I've seen ppl weren't ask to totally change times, but a few suggestions were giving on allow double times for such events like Tiger & Jungle ruins (just like Nien event had). Furthermore, haven't seen that many threads lately even complaining about times.

    I'm a European player, don't care what server times are, but remember this: if PWI decided to have servers in Europe only, you would here a massive QQ of American/Canadian players.

    This thread however is now completely pointless and just expresses someone being immature and aggrevated for a small thing such as this.

    I was pointing it at people like you, I was pointing it at people that complain non stop that everything should be for them just because they can play here, that is my point, I did say that in my original post if you actually read it, I have nothing against people that understand that point.

    Event times aren't that great for me either and I live in the US as well, and Ive never whined about it, its simple to understand that really...

    Complaining in the forum? I cant recall when was the last time I saw a thread about that.
    I never saw a European in the game complaining either

    Instead, I constantly see Q.Q about packs, rubberband, marriage, EVERY change, even gifts.

    So, you happen to meet a lot of Europeans in the game (blacklist?) OR it's not really the complains that annoy you because then you should make more threads about how people should stop Q.Q about the packs since the company owns the game and they are free to do whatever they want to boost their profit etc etc etc

    Of course, maybe you agree with those complains and you think that they benefit you so you don't have a problem with them. But umm, isn't that kinda egocentric?

    All in all, I agree that the target countries are USA+Canada. That doesn't mean that it is impossible to make it more global-friendly. I don't complain for the times (neither for the packs) but I can understand why some people would. After all, those nasty Europeans do have the freedom of speech.

    did I ever say that? I said you they would QQ as much as europeans if server times were good for EU and bad for US/CA players.

    Like others have said in this thread as well as others like it, you will always get complaints regarding timings of things.

    An example I remember of North American based players complaining about something was the Death From Above!

    For a lot of them, this was within work, school time.

    I don't think you really get that many European based players complaining about the timings though obviously the posts that are made here can make it seem like more on occasion but that is the same regarding any topic people choose to complain about.

    Most European based players accept PWI for what it is, a MMORPG with US based servers with a primary customer base there.

    Having said that, if you readily accept money from European based players, they become stakeholders in PWI and at least should be heard regarding their concerns.

    Maybe we should switch the servers to somewhere like Japan for a year if you don't mind it so much. See how you like events at 5am. TW at 1am. And ****ty ping. Oh, and dumbass 'home' players QQing about your complaints.

    I never said International = US anywhere in any of my posts, I simply stated that International means more then one country, which is true because the game is made for US and Canada, really simple point that you obviously cant comprehend

    About that... I wouldn't complain a single ounce about that, as it would have been my conscious choice to play a game with servers based in Japan, so I would have no logical reason to QQ about that, amazing how you cant seem to comprehend such a simple point

    ur an idiot.......and since the developers are not idiots they made this international = whole world.....am sure the game makes a lot of money from players outside north america. and plz dont ever start a business u will fail miserably......

    Just because they accept transactions for goods outside of their target area means they need to cater specifically for them. And there are IP Blocks for certain regions for this game if you took the time to read the TOS....

    In case you havn't noticed, 'official' European servers are dead. You can have the whole server on your friend list.
