i think that guys should beable to embrace guys and girls should be able to embrace girl that way this game would be more entertaining and more comfertable for us gai members otherwise they may fell uncomfertable so please make there be lese homophobia also guys hsould be able to marry guys and girls should be able to marry girls so pleeeease add that stuff it would make me more comfertable playing pwi b:thanksb:thanksb:thanksb

    ... It won't. The people who make this game are Chinese and homosexuality isn't legal in China. So you're basically asking them to risk their jobs and quite a lot more just so that you could have the convenience of being all nice and rainbowy. Not gonna work.

    Well that's a problem for the Chinese, not the game.

    So you should be in China lobbying for them to allow homosexuality instead of being here complaining about it.

    That how things happen there, heck few publisher there even ban male playing as female (but i think PWE not included on the list, of course that not mean PWE free from those rules) because the government say it sign of homo sexuality.

    I wonder how they detect it ? Is they do random patrol on cyber net or maybe people must use sort kind of pass port when activate id ? (so the publisher know the id owner is male or not)

    Please, keep your sexuality in your pants, behind your closed doors. You don't need to wave it around like some badge of honor. I don't care if you like people of the same gender, love animals in that extra special way or like being beaten and relieved on.... keep it to yourself, please. b:surrender

    Okay first of all, please think of the people who try to read your text. Seriously, I was stuck on 'gai' for a really long time. But anyway, this topic's been repeated and posted over and over again, and all have been rejected by the GMs. ALSO, as everyone else was saying, this game is Chinese, and homosexuality is not only looked down upon, it's outright illegal.

    Wrong. If enough people support it? Have you even SEARCHED how many topics were created just for this issue? Go back and look at that response given by the GM. I seriously can't believe why people still make totally new topics repeating the same thing over again. If you actually have something more creative that the GMs will actually consider, then maybe yeah, but search the forums before you post something that has been answered so many times.

    by this standard, the game's marriage and embrace features ought to be removed, so that nobody could shove their heterosexuality in everybody else's faces.

    actually, i fully support that proposal. two more useless, divisive, controversial game features i cannot think of.

    The only way to make these happen, someone must persuade Beijing Perfect World to ignore the China Government rules.

    At least 1 Chinese gaming company forces everyone who makes a female character to prove their gender on a live webcam or the character gets deleted.

    If they allowed your idea the Chinese government would shut down the company.

    Ah. This subject and the male veno, female barb ones. I wondered when they would pop up again.

    Well, it seems that the response for both topics is the same and it will not change ever, no matter how much you pray or get mad about it.
    Once again, marriage and embracing are very optional components of a MMORPG. If the devs did not want to include them, it would have changed little on the game mechanics.
    If it was designed this way from the start, you gotta learn to live with it.

    I also want to say that I still don't see why people make such a fuss about this detail of a game, but also make a blank face at the ones that stupidly diss those with a different approach on gender and sexuality.

    It'll never happen. The pwi dev gods see homosexuality as an abomination thus not giving them equal rights.
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    Where did I say I was opposed to the idea? Think about it - would you rather date someone online or in RL, where you could see them whenever you want and hug and cuddle and shizz? You can do that in a game with cartoon characters, but it's definitely not the same at all.

    A lot of people are NOT opposed to it, like me. We're just tired of seeing these threads about same sex embrace in PWI over and over and over and OVER again. Seriously. Do a search. It doesn't matter whether people support it or not - IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE IT'S A CHINESE GAME, AND SAME SEX RELATIONSHIPS ARE A BIG NO NO IN CHINA.

    Okay, folks, I think we've got our volunteer to write a letter to the kind folks in the Chinese government about changing their laws so we can have same sex relationships in a game. Because that is clearly the most important change we need to implement into PWI.

    It's still not going to happen, sweetheart. Whether we look at the topics or not. But seriously. I implore you. Go to search. Search the archives. There are metric tons of this type of topic. God forbid we get a little sick of it.

    Surely, but would you ever do that? A stickied thread written by a GM listing all subjects that would never be taken into account?
    I thought of that a few times, btw...

    We also could need a formal response by a dev, all translated if needed (that said, they should be quite fluent in English nowadays). That should be great.
