Are You a Demon or a Sage Cleric?

use ecatomb , compare the skills u KNOW u can get and then decide ur path,use Auction House to check prices. Cleric is balanced when it comes to choosing path since demon is for attack and killing while sage is bigger support in squads and TW. Choose according to what u like and what u do, dont rely on the experiences of others to decide for ur own toon

if that were balanced id have jumped to demon without a second thought :x

Then the 2 of us have a strange way to express balance. If she wants to support in FBs and TW sage is the way to go. If she wants to have a easier time in killing stuff on her own demon gives a lot of potential. I can't really understand why u dont see the balance bwtween these 2. Still though both path increase a lot the power of the cleric so imo it all ends up on what skills some1 can aquire and how willing is for spending time on getting them.

apparently youve not been reading anything on this thread. The potential as u put it is pretty much the same, its how u use it makes the outcome. I cant really understand why u dont see this.

i have read this thread pretty much actually , cause the whole topic is interesting. what i said is that both paths have disadvantages and advantages, are helpfull in a different way but at the end they dont make a lot of difference to a cleric IN MY OPINION. for other clerics the path they took could have changed their potential and gameplay. I have a feeling that the endgame is quite the same for everyone though , but w/e. Anyway i dont want to start a arguement with u right now , that's not my purpose, and i have to say that I respect what u have posted so far If u want to solve this send me a PM so we can disguss between paths b:bye

there is not much to discuss with you, as your wordings are to vague, already starting to change, and can sway both ways depending on the person u are talking to.

Clerics being either Demon or Sage can do much of both as Sage can do great attacks.Demon can do great as supporting as squad.It all depends on what key skills you are interested in a lot of Clerics choose sage for the free chi but demons don't need it.It is the spark that really counts in in both of them.

that's what i said in my previous post , Both paths are nearly the same at the end cause both can support and DD pretty well. As for the chi with genies and Apoth items some clerics dont consider that anymore . and yes the spark is seriously an important factor for a player of all classes

I think he was pointing out the discription you put for one of them was off yet you still used it in defense of somthing....

Real skill description for stream of rejuvenation:

Heal the target's HP, recovering 1800 plus 60% of your base magic attack and and additional 1800 HP
over 15 secondDemon version temporarily grants the target an additional 100% bonus to equipment's physical defense.

And Im still deciding from earlier.. Ty Para for bringing up demon out heals sage by spirits gift o. 0

Magicgabe - Lost City

Sage = PvP(chi gen and control) and moderate healing(due to autoheal w/ very little MP loss).
Demon = Heavy PvE support(demon ironheart) + heavy attack w/ plumeshot and metal debuff.

I went Demon before people started choosing Demon over Sage for clerics.
I wanted to be Demon because there weren't many clerics that were Demon clerics.
