If you're only PvE, none of that is really needed.0 -

If i'm at target and have 10 er 20 bucks to spare than i'll get a card, but i don't see the point in goin for broke. It's just a game, you don't gain anything irl for having the best PWI gear. Just a thought. Don't get me wrong, i love this game and try to support it if i can, but i like to keep most of my pay-check. Money don't come cheap. :P[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

A guy on raging tide has full +7 or higher event and TT99. has a +11 nirvana weapon.
Did a TT run with him a few days ago and he said that it was his first time ever doing 2-3.YsoEmo - Sanctuary wrote: »What's the point of TT? To make money right? When he already has money, what's the point of him going in TT?0 -

No, the point of TTs is not to make money, it's to make your own items. If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.
Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.0 -

You can't make your own items by buying mats off others?0 -

Truthfully, I did just that.
However, the original point of the instance is to indeed farm your own items. There's a whole school of people who're of the belief that farming TT for selling the mats is evil because it pumps up the prices due to people wanting to make a profit. And by profit, I believe these people mean "getting more coin than the costs of the runs".
Oh, and btw, I was pretty much forced to merchant coin for the mats for my TTs. That's because I'm a factionless archer, which means that there's hardly any means for me to farm TTs for my stuff. In random squads, I'd never get the mats I wanted. If I went with friends, I could get maybe 1-2 mats per run yes, but the timing would be on their schedule, not mine.If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

b:chuckle I c mirage sales are quite profitable eh Olba b:chucklei am kinda curious... does all the lunar or nivana or what ev stuff really give you THAT much of an edge? Its funny how all these threads are made by people who are either too lazy to earn money or don't know how to.
Cashshoppers had to work hard irl for their zen too, so it makes no difference if you work in game or out. Work for your coin, because it wont come to you by itself...
Theres a difference between the cash shoppers and the people who worked hard to earn their money.
People who worked for their money will SOME elite gears...because its not hard to afford one if you put all your effort into earning enough coin to buy it.
The cash shoppers have ALL elite gear.
Of course, money usually earns more money, so the more money you have, the easier it is to make it.The chillum is sometimes referred to as a chalice, based on a quote from the Biblical book of Deuteronomy. Thanks and praises are offered to Jah before smoking the chillum.0 -

a few weeks ago i had to (1) study for some exams
(2) upgrade my skills (5mil just for the basics)
and last, (3) i had to feed myself xD
so I chose to cook instead of just eating out and I saved up enough to buy my skills without the need to grind those mil.
sure, I lost the experience I could have gotten from pressing F1-F2-F1b:bye0 -
it s funny how u misread topic..
tho Islamey point of view is generally right, but it s all about balance..
ijs u both better train ur merchandise skills, cuz at end game nobody will inv you to those tt/nirvana 'earning' squads cuz u both are simply slot waste lolz
well, enough op sin have still some chance :PBUILD EFFICIENCY CALCULATOR: pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1129681

Not really, at least not recently. And in fact, I made much more coin during the Orb sale than I did from the Mirages. I believe I went from about 3,200,000 or so to 11,500,000. Then they put in the packs and that was that.If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

If it makes yall feel better, this newbie wont be running around in "elite gear" and sporting a lvl beyond 60 in the first week.
And I'm stingy with my money. Probably wont CS.Lonely man with a big heart.0
