    Hamsters with daggers are so OP. They can reach 5 aps and since they are pure dex, they have an even higher crit rate than imba fist bms.
    Plus they can triple spark from stealth so you can't even run away. QQ

    Knife throw have far too much range, its longer than a ranged class while it also cancels channeling. While BMs have around half that range

    Puncture wound have the DOT as strong as cleric's thunderball, but half the speed of thunderball


    Too much bonus critical rate, for a LVL30 assassin

    And saying the knife throw is longer than a ranged class, and then citing a melee class such as BM isn't what you should go for >_o. Would be smarter to say, archers dont have any skill to specifically interrupt channeling.

    Puncture wound is as strong as the clerics thunderball, BUT thunder ball can be casted from range and also take a look at its cooldown and compare it to the duration.
    Thunderball:
    Duration : 15 seconds.
    Cooldown : 8 seconds.
    Puncture Wound
    Duration: 9 seconds
    Cooldown : 8 seconds.
    Durations don't really matter, if you take a look at the cooldowns you can cast another thunderball by the time an assassin can puncture wound again.
    So thunderball is actually better than puncture wound simply because you dont have to be in melee range to cast.

    And yes it is easy to kite with deep sting, but archers have it MUCH better. Why? Because they have the all powerful knock-back arrow. If thats not enough, they have slow, stun, and immobilize arrow. Sure, assassins have a slow and immobilize it too, but we're melee so it doesn't do us any good.

    I said all this assuming you're using daggers and not bow as an assassin btw.

    On the original topic...

    I've played a little bit of both classes, so I can only offer my views on the lower levels.

    In regards to the Assassin, I'm having a hard time seeing how it's considerably over-powered. It's a melee class the wears light armor (heavy if you want to, but by default it was intended for light). It can deal damage, but in the early levels really can't take damage - at least from my experiences. I need to play the class a little more to further develop my opinion on it. Otherwise I feel the damage it deals/takes is balanced - you can do lots of damage, but at a cost if you are not careful.

    For Psychic, from what I've seen thus far it comes down to White Voodoo and Black Voodoo. One lets you deal more damage, but also take more damage, while the other lets you take more damage, but deal less damage. A Psychic with Black Voodoo on may seem over-powered, but at the same time they are highly susceptible to taking heavy damage. It all depends on how a player chooses to play the class. They also have a reflect skill, Soul of Vengeance. I've heard this skill compared to the Veno's reflect skill. It's kinda like it, only it costs you MP for each time you are hit/the skill reflects damage back - the Veno skill has a one-time-MP cost for their skill (but then again, I don't think it works on ranged/magic attacks, while I believe the Psychic's skill does - I need to check this again). Again, it's like the Voodoos: you gain in one aspect, but lose in another. My only qualm with the Psychic is how early it gets its knock-back skill. Other than that, it's an okay class that's fun to play.

    In summary, with what I played of the classes, both behave as a double-edged sword: for their strengths, they also have weaknesses that, if you aren't weary of them, will get you killed fast. In the end, I feel they are not over-powered, as it all comes down to how the player chooses to play them.

    I will stress that this has been my initial response to the classes. I need to play them a little longer to get a fuller scope, so this opinion is subject to change. You are all welcome to your own opinion.

    The Tibeborn classes are not that over-powered...
