TW'ing in multiple factions

    I have a friend in one of the largest land owning factions on Heaven's Tear. She also is the leader of her own faction. A few days ago I saw her world chatting selling practically everything of value she owns. When I inquired why?.. she said she was getting money together so that her faction could TW. I then asked "Isn't that going to get in the way of your Tw's with (XXXX)faction? She said no, I will continue to tw in (xxxx) and my members can Tw for ours, they don't need me.

    TL;DR As long as someone isn't multiclienting the same account somehow to fight two different Tw's from the same account they are not breaking any of the terms of service. There is no design flaw either preventing anyone from joining 2 different tw factions. They would just have to choose which one they wanted to tw for if both factions had a war at the same time.

    If I have 5 characters I've worked up to lvl 90+ I can put them all in different TW factions. That is not against the rules!

    Ya Tao got the short end of the stick this weekend. I know there is a few guilds on HT with alts from enrage/tao in them. Sounds more like a QQ from OP more then anything. They lose a land, cry some and then cry some more. As was said in previous posts, if Tao would have won all fights then this crying thread would have never come around. More like the thread of: We are the best because we can defend all our lands in 1 weekend. Come on Goldy, Enough crying and get back to the game. inb4lock

    After a bit of thought it seems that this topic is nothing short of the OP trying to influence the bidding on HT by using veild threats.

    " If you have an alt in a guild that bids on us we will submit ticket after ticket to try to get you banned ".

    So maybe we should all submit a ticket about the OP and his Factions actions in this matter or hope the GM's take action . b:laugh

    This thread is the definition of making up rules in your head and expecting others to obey them. Simply because you are too lazy/cheap to make other 90+ characters does not mean others have an advantage. It means they worked/spent more than you and getting the benefit of it. In truth there is no rule about having multiple characters in multiple factions. But there is rules about being the leader of multiple factions and bidding on more than one of them. And I find it funny that you think there is some sort of double standard for people who spend more money in the game coming from you. Someone who nobody would have even recognized they existed before September 2009.

    There is nothing against the rules about using 2 computers at once and using 2 different characters at the same time on separate accounts and sometimes even doing TW at the same time on them. You probably wont be effective on either with the distraction of the other but there is nothing wrong with it and only possible to prove if they admit it to you. Could be their brother or sister playing next to them for all you know. Now if your wanting people to get banned for purposefully attacking other factions in the time slot well then the leader of both Tao and Radiance should be banned every week because they openly even in world chat said they did that on purpose to get an advantage over Enrage. I personally see nothing wrong with that behavior. If they want to do that let them. Even a fellow Tao member Rawthorne agrees there is nothing in the ToS you refer to.

    I have come to find over time this is one of main reasons factions do bid on Tao. It is not some vast conspiracy where everyone is picking on Tao. Its because the attitude reacting to it annoys the members and leaders of these factions.

    I am really waiting here for people like yourself getting banned for crying foul on everything that gives you a disadvantage. If you do not like it, adapt and do better. Or find a new way to get an advantage over them. As long as you follow current game rules there is nothing wrong with that. Its called competition. If your not willing to compete get out of the game. I have played games where everything is "fair" and where everything means nothing anymore because you cannot overcome and exceed others. I myself spend no money on this game. Most would consider that a disadvantage. I only use this one computer. Most would consider that a disadvantage. I spend too much in game money on 3 characters of 3 armor types instead of just focusing on being the greatest on one. Some would consider that a disadvantage. Guess what in all those things I do not really care that it leads to a disadvantage for me. I let my planning, investing, money efficiency, intense playing for PvP and experience with the game allow me to still be quite a success overall.

    If what your wanting goes into effect the PWE is going to lose money. Why work on a new character when you can only use 1 for TW purposes. I should just drop my wizard and assassin right now being I might get banned if I put them in another TW faction. I wont use my coin to buy gold from other players and I will not help people who spend money on the game get through instances, get gear materials and level up.

    The OP has decided to re-interpret the TOS in his own way so as to do away with things that irritate him. Hence, why people have, and should be, making fun of him as much as possible. This has become a lil' too common concerning TW, and people taking it far too seriously.

    I have been sorta avoiding this topic but want to voice my opinion on the matter of being in more then one tw faction.
    I think you can choose to be in whatever factions you choose, there is no rules against it. However that said I dont feel you should tw against an alt's faction. for example say someone has a character in Guild A and Guild B. then any wars between A and B they do not take part (on either side!). They should also do the honorable thing and not share vital information, however there is always Spies and people who like to play that part. Taking part in wars not with your other character's faction is fair game.

    it is all an honor system and per the rules of the guild you are in. there is nothing in the tos that states you cant have two 95+ characters and have them in say Radiance and Enrage. In fact i knew someone who was in both at one point.

    Moreover, nothing in your QQ is against ToU/ToS. And on top of that, no one at PWI cares. Rules of TW say that you're not allowed to fly or to own both lvl1 cities (Archos and 1k). QQmoar.

    and offc Tao is QQing. imo Tao should get banned for some weeks for sending in false tickets and fake outbidding and false accusations. but hey so far gm('s) has always been carebears for Tao and anti-Enrage.

    This. You have obviously not heard of (or not much of) Enrage. We're the ones that get randomly banned for being within a certain distance of oracle mobs when oracles first came out.

    We're also the ones that get GMs attention to help other people outside of Enrage kill World Bosses if 2 or 3 Enrage is nearby or at the location of said World Boss.

    Plus, one of our members recently got banned during TW. :)

    Wars are all about strategy and deception anyways. The faction with the better stuff wins...period.

    If Youre whining about getting ganked by 2 factions (1 on each territory) am sure you wouldve quit where I came from...1 territory defended by 1 guild but attacked by 5 at the same time and there was no set time when the attack would begin just a 2 hour period within which the defenders were free for all guilds. Heck that was fun.
