Leviathan Meltdown?

I like the argument that if it was a nobody scamming a nobody then nobody would care, that's some solid argument iron clad stuff there. If this thread is intended to ask a guild's membership to take a close look at their associates in an attempt to improve the community, then why all the bashing, flaming and hate for bringing this to the light of day and airing it out for the community in the community forums?
Let it flicker!
First at Linc's post. Your intentions were not to ask a guild's membership to take a close look at their associates in an attempt to improve the community. The title of this thread is Leviathan Meltdown? I don't think I would go into that much more details to prove that point. You, sir, are a mudslinger, and your pathetic attempt to pass it off as a way to "help" Leviathan be a better guild will render anyone with half a brain sore with laughter.
Second as I posted on another thread, Mime is as rich as NightRage, and I have a thing or two to say about what he did. However, given that he is no longer on the server, I won't bother. NightRage is the one rolling in gold rite now, and I'll do whatever I can to inform as many ppl as possible.0 -

Oh look.. more Levi players are trying to scam people with tokens of luck. ArchMichael in west arch is up to it now. If the leader is allowe to, must be cool for every member to.

Its clearly obvious that this is an attempt to degrade a faction.
There are many Non-Levi guys out there at trading square who are doing the exact same thing. Shouldn't you be picking on the rest as well if you're against "scammers" and not Leviathanians?
I'm pretty sure every faction leader out there closes one eye to a number of guildies, especially the ones that has been loyal to since day one. Yes, some guild leaders can keep going on and on about saying " We'll not hesitate to deal with players who "stains" the reputation of our guild ". But I can swear, exceptions do come by now and then, whether the situation is handled in discreet or not.
I'm speaking this in accords to my own experiences as I've played the role of a guild leader in countless of mmorpgs. And I'll tell you guys, its impossible to be a fairytale leader.
This is not up to the job of a guild leader to deal with problems like this. A guild leader can banish a person from a guild but it does not change the person for the better. GMs should be the ones dealing with these mess. There is always a ticket system under the support section in the event if anyone needs it.0 -
I'll play the devils advocate here and say its not the role of a factoin leader to micromanage the actions of its members. I put selling tokens at 5 mil on the same level as selling chest of coins and what factoin doesn't have members doing that?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

With Chest of Coins you know what you get. Item clearly states it, and the shopname/keeper won't claim it's anything else. These guys try to pass a similar looking item off for another. It's not the faction leader's job, but it would be nice if you're managing a reputable faction.
We've had an applicant that had just started the game and did that trick to someone already in faction. An exec and myself insisted he'd pay back his debt and solve it first before joining.
It's just a moral issue, some people clearly don't care about scamming others or how their members conduct themselves.. wouldn't you at least say something to your members if you saw a bunch of them left and right trying that bs?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

What happens if Mokoto and gang ( lets say, a number of them ) pulls out the same trick? What if they are the people whom you grow up along since day one.
And despite talking out with them, things are still not working out.

Actually.. it's more of a "pointing out that Leviathan members are idiots" type of post. Anyone else doing this REALIZES they are doing something wrong and ban-able, hence seeing level 1's doing this. Leviathan people are the only ones arrogant enough to use their real accounts and bring discredit to themselves. The leader does it, their members do it, so they MUST be honest people.0 -

And since when did " the leader does it "?
This sounds more like a thread posted in rage in an attempt to soothe one's soul, with facts blurry and not gotten right.
And what angers me is that, people are associating two black sheeps in guild to everyone in the guild. Because I know that the majority are awesome people who goes all out to help out one another. There is a reason why Leviathan managed to stay drama-free throughout the past few months, while many others wilt.0 -

I don't care. I will ask (read: tell) them to stop being dbags and because they respect me, they will show some reverence and take down the shop.
A good leader isn't afraid to reprimand even his most trusted officers and friends.
If Motoko or whoever the example is decided to leave because of it, they weren't a good fit obviously.0 -

lolumad? Your precious Leviathan has scammers in it. ZOMG one of the primary factions on the server is stealing from stupid people.
Let us take a moment to compare...
Infamy is a bunch of cash shoppers and greedy people with a leader who steals faction funding. No one is being hurt but the members who arn't being payed as much as they should. Alleged accusations with no proof.
QQme is a bunch of PKers who love to gank whites and grab anything that drops from people that they slaughter. No one is being hurt but people who go into PK mode and choose to participate. Accusations don't have proof... with the exception of people who have lost their own armor.
Leviathan has had multiple accusations of scamming people out of millions of coins, but otherwise mind their own business. Less intelligent players are being hurt and scammed out of weeks of grinding. There IS proof of this.
So, there you have it. No one is trying to harm Leviathan's reputation EXCEPT LEVIATHAN MEMBERS THEMSELVES. OMG, I posted a screenshot proving that they are trying to scam people out of a LOT of money, so I must be out to destroy them! No.. sorry.. I do have friend's in Leviathan, and I am sure they are ashamed of this ****. So, should I post this here and make sure everyone views this and is on the lookout? Or should I ignore it and let them continue unhindered?
SHUT UP and quit backing up people who are obviously in the wrong. If it was JUST ONE PERSON in the faction doing it, fine.. one bad apple.. no big deal. But sorry, more than one = trend.0 -

Well then, just pin point those guys by their name, instead of using " Leviathan " will do?
I've scanned through my threads over and over and I just don't get how you're saying that I'm backing people who scams. I'm backing innocent, nice people who are being dragged into your sterotyping views. I find it disturbing that you're saying all 190++ members are scammers. The moment teles start looking exactly like an item worth 4.5-5m and you start selling them in that range in a stack of one, yea it will be scamming.
I know it is hard being mentally challenged, but I am pretty sure a 2 year old could see this is blatant scamming.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Because it has been brought to the attention of the faction leader and his response was "Don't care, they can do what they want" it is being sactioned by the faction.
I'm sure if you look long enough you'll find someone in Infamy or QQme doing it, and as previously stated... we don't play that ****, and considering QQme's current leader, doubt he'd be for it either. (though I could be wrong)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

A Leviation member selling a token for 4 mil = total faction meltdown.

Bladed_Tony, ArchMichael, AND COURI. Now sit down and shut up noob. The first two were scamming tokens, Couri was scamming other things that was not discussed here, and I will NOT discuss it here. I wasn't trying to say QQme was scamming, I was listing the 3 main factions on this server, and the "problems" associated with each. Whether they are true, or harmful, is not the issue. I was simply stating the things that are being brought up in WC.0 -

Well i actually had a legitimate beef with something some Leviation members did. I asked Couri about it and he gave same response, he doesn't micromanage. I was angry at the time but if the table were flipped the other direction my thoughts might have lined up XD. I wish more factions could get along like QQme and Infamy.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

D'oh. Best luck and luck tokens have a different icon. There's nothing advertised in the shop title. Which means the customer doesn't get deceived with false information.
Just because you have a price in your head, doesn't mean every single shop has that price.
Obviously you're the one that's ****, since you fail to see this. And goes directly for insults because you can't participate in a grown-ups argument.
BAWWW u dun agree with me, so ur mently challenged n a scammer!

DragonPyre - Raging Tide wrote: »I don't see any advertising for best tokens. Everyone is free to set their own prices.
Ur point has already been cleared a few pages before. Don't tell any1 it's about "setting their own prices", cuz nobody on any server would buy a perfect - token of luck for 4m+.
Trying to use the excuse "I didn't say that it's a best luck" is just a fail attempt of trying to be smart and avoiding the allegation to be a scammer.DragonPyre - Raging Tide wrote: »How mature.
So people selling teles at 30k+ are scamming too? Or people selling armour with only increased endurance for 100k+?
Cry more plz.
Do u rly think ppl have to act mature towards u, when u come up with such a stupid argument like that?
Teles 30k+ are teles of value compared to the actual gold price. Altough no one is buying them overpriced cuz they have a unique icon and their costs are about 11k atm. Same goes for armor, when u look at an piece of armor u obviously look at it's stats, if they are useless, why would u buy it?
Selling tokens for 4m+ (compared to ur example of teles: 11k->30k, there is a slight difference in ~12-13k->4m, don't u think so?) can't be considered as making ur own prices, when it's price is a bit cheaper than the average best luck. So it's basically trying to make ppl buying them fast cuz they should think they can make 500k-1m via buying an selling/buying another token for a 10m-bank note. It doesn't happen that often, but players who aren't used to such ppl don't look twice when they see a token for that price.
And that's the difference, I'm sure u are aware of that cuz u are just some scammers alt, or why would u try to defend that kind of making money?
Even if we would assume ppl just try to make their own prices, to quote myself:FapFapFap - Raging Tide wrote: »At least not one who is trying to sell token of luck for 4.5m b:chuckle

Fuzzy_Wuzzy - Raging Tide wrote: »wow... someone trying to pass a perfect token off as a best token? Thats never happened before. b:chuckle
Almost as funny as someone Fuzzy saw trying to pass off whatever apoch potion it is as a Frostcover Force for 25mil cauze it has the same icon.
But if there wasn't a sucker born every minute they probably wouldn't do it....
Not that Fuzzy agrees with the practice or anything remotely close to it but after all, caveat emptor. If your gonna spend that kinda money on 1 token or 1 item or whatever it might be worth taking the extra 2 seconds to see your actually getting what you think it is for the price you think you are paying.
If more people actually payed attention stupid scams like this wouldn't work.
...and for those people actually falling for it.... well.. Fuzzy has a friend in Nigeria who works for a bank... has a pile of unclaimed money. Just send Fuzzy your bank information etc etc etc b:laugh
