From hawk's recent post (http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=7478492&postcount=42) it would appear that we're getting more mods in the future.

I nominate Konari for mod. He's on almost all the time anyway so why not, eh?

    As to Mr. Miugre's comment, I offer this reply. Who says I'd have to give up my humor and personality just because I attained a new position? Now, giving up being a "borderline" troll, I'll give you that...and I'd happily give it up.

    I've seen how drab and dull the forums have slowly become. Like Hawk said (good to see ya again, by the way, haven't seen your avvy around in a good while), while it's nice that it's not an overwhelming flame-fest in here, forums are put in place for a reason...to incite discussion. Intelligent discussion (or some subform thereof). In fact, I probably spend more time on the PWI Forums than I do on the actual game. Why? Well, the game's gotta kinda stale for me at the moment...not much on my mind, goal-wise, just dailies and whatnot.

    But here on the forums, I actually try and help out every now and again, in my own way. Got a heated thread? Try and derail it a little and calm it down with some humor. Angry raging player trying to take it out on the Mods/GM's? Tranquilize him with a joke or two. I'm still the same humorous, "witty" guy that first inhabited these forums; I'm just a little more...picking of my battles than most.

    All that being said, would I give up the label and "pure freedom" of a troll so that I could help out these forums via humor and thread padlocks? You bet your Winged Shell, I would.

    Don't worry; Mods aren't allowed to act on personal vendettas (unless the person in question actually is a known rule breaker, which you aren't). That'd be totally unprofessional.

    I mean, how will they even choose them? Find well-known posters who follow the rules? or recruit people nobody know and take over the forums?

    I will admit, I can actually see you as a mod. I mean, as already's been said, you practically live on the forums, and you've basically seen both sides of the fence in terms of being a troll. It'd be more of a surprise if you weren't chosen.     While I'm unsure of the actual specifics, as such things have never been cleared up as to the "How?" I believe it would probably make most sense if they were actually hiring. But to release that particular vacancy, the amount of forum user requests for a position they would recieve would more than likely be immense, not to mention the trolls' applications.

    So, perhaps it may actually be that for those lucky few who are selected for such positions, they may be contacted by a GM and offered the position on a voluntary basis. If I were qualified by Perfect World Entertainment's requirements, and lived in CA, I would have applied, as I have experience, to be a GM. Alas, I do not and therefore have not tried. The Staff at PWE are all professional, the forum moderator's job no less so qualified.

    Your best chance to obtain a position with Perfect World Entertainment however, would probably be the following:
