    Sorry, had to defend the honor of sins worldwide. Getting back on topic, can they package Anni Packs in any more ways to get them to sell? Or have they actually sold us on them (finally)?

    That's all that's really happening here - the PWE marketing team has been shoving packs down our throats for so long that some of you have started to believe they're necessary... worse yet, a few people even think 450-500k gold prices are not only normal but worth QQing about when the fail finally passes.

    I mean, hell, I'll probably buy a few this time around. And I'll be picking up a few tokens this week in order to get socket stones for cheaper than the gold price would let me. But you know what? It's still not a "good deal." Using that example, if I wanted to get 100 socket stones (which I do), I would need 121 tokens. At, say 15k each, that would be about 1.8mil. Were I to buy gold even at, say 300k (which HT has not seen in a LONG time), it'd cost me somewhere around 2.1mil. That's a deal, right?

    Well it is, until you look back on the days before PWE's marketing department went nuts. Back in the day, I could get that same amount of socket stones for maybe 750k... and that was on gold.

    About the only thing I can think of that packs/corals actually "make cheaper" is flawless shards. Don't delude yourselves into thinking you "need" them, and definitely don't QQ because you can't gouge your fellow players for gold.



    Oh, and saying this for the 913701246072479016th time: GMs don't decide what's in the CS, nor do they directly profit from those decisions. It's the higher-ups who decide that. We never hear from them. This is the problem.

    SOOO true...I feel bad for the GMs for the flak they take when things aren't even their fault. They do their best to see what we need, try their best to take care of it, and when the devs decide they want to put something in the CS, the first ones to get the blame are the GMs.

    GMs, don't take any of the QQs to heart, you guys are doing a GREAT job, keep up the good work!

    its not the gms, if u do a simple search, ull find at least a dozen threads and poll begging for these to come back. every poll has been in favor of the packs.

    Only because the part of the community that doesn't want them back doesn't come on the forums and QQ about the packs not being there.
