No chances... you get all the (5) bonuses at once. That or the nirvana forges lie.

I also noticed that the nirvana helmet requires just 104 str... less then my current aqua helm.

    Will just leave this here

I have a light armored veno and liking it, I can hit well and do some good melee attacks. This works for fox form as well. Here is what a veno LA build.

If you want a guide try the stickies. LA's pretty simple tho; 3 Mag 1 Str 1 Dex. This should cover minimum requirements for mag wep your level and allow you to wear up to date armor. I wouldn't recommend LA tho, as you'll be severely gimping your damage in exchange for mediocre defense. At low and mid levels this will slow you down as kills will take longer and you'll have inferior pet heal. At higher levels you can actually get the same phys res as LA on AA (and cheaper too, since garnets are more affordable than the citrines you'll need for LA). Or you can go HA and have enough phys res on fox form to take on Melee types in PvP and become a decent tank on PvE.

Any way you look at it LA will loose when compared with either Arcane or Heavy.

Heavy build sucks, just add right shards and you will see even pure DEX venoes do much better than a heavy build veno

Thanks for Flauschkatze for siggy b:cool

VIT > STR > DEX > MAG... GG
HA > LA > AR... GG

    HA + VIT = win b:bye

    Doom of Flowers:Universe

I wonder... if normal items can have the same stat twice or even three times, would it be possible to reforge a weapon with a total of 12% crit?

This is for fox form melee and as far as I know, venoes have LEECH LIFE with cooldown of 6 seconds, if this is a horrid build then try comparing with that HA build then xD

I've said this before, but it all depends on the person playing the game and what you want out of it. For example, if you want to be strictly pve, stay pure magic since your pet heal will be the best this way. If you want mainly pve with some pvp, go for the vit arcane build, it gives a really good balance of defenses when sharded with garnets, but it would only use one skill tree (human) mostly. I can't imagine any arcane pvp veno with 5 dex using mellee fox skills on any class. For Light armor venos, you should only choose this path for pvp if you plan on having a high crit rate end game, and i mean at least 25-30%. Most of this would come from your equips or skills, especially if you choose the demon path at 89. Light armor is a highly offensive build in pvp, but not so good defensively, unless you're a cash shopper and everything is refined to +8 or higher, including ortaments. For the HA/AA build veno, the build is probably the hardest to pull off. but by doing it, it can help both pvp and pve wise. It's good both defensively and offensively, but more so defensively. At lvl 90 when i restat to this build, I will easily gain 19k phys def in fox with HA on and lvl 10 buffs, and 21.5k with sage buffs. While at the same time I can easily switch to robes and still gain 10k+ magic defense. This is my take on 4 different builds. (Pure mage, Vit mage, Light armor, and Heavy/arcane build)
I believe that all 4 builds have points that make it work. It just all comes down to the player and personal preferences. Don't let anyone tell you "Oh your a fail if you choose that build." Especially if they have never tried it. It's completely your choice on what you want.

I like this advice. I'm at the point where I've stolen aggro from my own Herc (Lv5 bash) on Ofotis (wood fb59 boss) after Soul Degen, Amp, and Ironwood. L 89-91 Barbs tend to lose aggro to me as well (at lv 98).

Some of the best skills are in fox form. Amp, Sage Soul Degeneration, Myriad Rainbow, Leech, Befuddling Mist, Sage Fox Form, Purge, and that's not even counting melee mastery. I'm pure mag and love my fox form. Pure Mag just can't easily get away with cheap shards. Sage Fox also provides 250% acc increase that can stack with dual Misty Forest rings.

My main reason for restatting to a HA/AA build (mainly HA) at 90 isnt really for the pvp side of it. I probably won't pvp till lvl 95 or 100... But its because, in pve situations, I want to be able to protect my herc, like it protects me. Not just through healing pet, but through tanking mobs, and even bosses that may be a bit too much for it to handle. Or if a barb or bm isnt available, I want to step in and volunteer to tank. To be honest, this has already happened to me. At lvl 69, I had no herc, during bh wyvern, the tank left squad before the boss, and the only one left that could possibly tank him was me, and atm Im light armor. I barely made it through, but I guess the garnets in my armor helped out alot. Needless to say, it would have been alot easier if i was use heavy armor at the time. But that experience made me realise I don't always want to rely on my pet for everything.
