    • Probability for Sage Ice Dragon in random books

    Hey there,

    Since I am approaching lvl99, I have been gambling for the "legendary" Ice Dragon strike for a while now. Funny enough, I used four attempts so far and got:

    1.) FoW 2.) BT 3.) MS 4.) GS

    I am kinda happy that I didn't get a double book so far, but the most important thing is still missing. b:sad

    I heard from a lotta people, that the distribution in those random books innot even and that sage ice dragon is like 5% or even 1%...

    Sure, the skills I got seem like an even distribution, but four tries is not very significant.

    Is it true that the Ice Dragon is that rare, or is it just another myth? I would laugh if I get it as my final book... Need to run some more cubes...

      Thank you. :) At least it is better than some skill I already have.. Now I will waste my time doing cube runs and looking for cheap offers around arch and AH again.. Maybe I am lucky next try.

      Didn't bother opening more, since I already had Snare/FoW from the adv. page trade and got BT by trading Dragon for it. Seize will pop up some day I'm sure. But no, the chance of getting Ice Dragon isn't lower. Some people are just unlucky.
      Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

      I've made 3 Force of Wills and 3 Glacial Snares b:cry

      Last one I made Blade Tempest though so hopefully my luck has changed and I will be 8th time lucky.

      I check AH at least 2x a day and haven't seen sage BIDS for about 6 months... (nor Dragon Breath and Stone Barrier only once but I got outbid with 0 mins on the clockb:cry)

      I got really lucky with sage Stone Barrier. BM got a book drop from his fb99 in my faction. Paid 700k for it. Never seen it or Demon in the AH though.

      far no, demon stone barrier u can get in bh99 with **** low drop rate and sage water ulti with 20% cahnce and with chapters

      Kristoph, I officially hate you. b:cry Well not really, but I want that book. On our server everyone seems to be so unlucky about that. Made me think it really has a lower chance... Meh, I just have to keep on trying I guess, would be awesome to get the five different books in five tries. But I somehow doubt that.

      And at level 78 BIDS is really the last thing you have to worry about... You may enter the QQ club when you have opened at least three books. =P

      I made 6 Snares 3 FoW and 3 Mountain's before I got dragon.
      But I doubt you'll ever find one to buy/trade for.

      1st try I got Blade Tempest. 2nd try I got Glacial Snare. 3rd try I got Sage BIDS.

      Probably no ones going to be selling that skill and if they do it'll be for a really jacked up price that you'd rather keep trying to use pages of fate to get it instead.

      Seeing as I never saw a sage BIDS in auction house I guess I'll just have to open more books and hope for the better.
