Getting rid of Items

Hi!

How can I get rid of items that are:

- Unable to be sold
- Unable to be traded
- Unable to be decomposed
- Unable to be discarded


???

    Sell them at an npc for a few hundred coins.

    You don't O_o If you can't get rid of them it means they're important.

    Of course, if they trade through account stash you could make a new character, send it to them and delete them. But best advice I can give, is if you can't get rid of it, it's not something you wanna get rid of.

    I'm sure he means some quest rewards items or rank gear,which are untradable etc.When it says can't be sold it means into the AH or cat shop so just npc them.

    hmm only item I know that you cant do those are the rank identification rings (unless Im wrong)

    unable to be traded means you can't ah or cat shop them.
    unable to be sold means no selling them whatsoever.

    Certain things like the rank rings and chrono key are like this.

    We'd be able to help a lot more if you could tell us WHAT the item in question is. If it says "unable to be sold", then you CAN'T NPC it.

    It is a rank id ring.
    I don't need it anymore, have better ones.
    I can't sell it at NPC's, I tried.
    Can't drop it, can't sell in cat shop, can't trade with other players.

    Am I stuck with it forever? :\

    IIRC, you need that ring to get the next rank. So you have to keep it. Just stuff it in your bank or something. b:chuckle

    This is why you dont have to pay any money for the ring, unlike other rank gear. The NPC tells you its your rank badge (as such you trade it in for next rank badge/ring).

    Ok i admit my mistake but there isn't a small difference btwn "items that are: this this this and this" and "an item that has:this this this and this".
    Obvious?maybe but it fooled me.

    The rank ring is really annoying. I didn't know what I was doing when I first accepted it (my new alts just didn't take it because I now know better), but there are so many good rings available in AH or legendary that I always find something better. Thus my rank ring sits in the bank permanently, and I think it is stupid that they don't give you a way to get rid of it. Even quest reward items that can't be traded or refined and whatnot can be sold to an NPC.

    Submit a ticket suggesting it. Maybe if enough people do they will change it.

    This is a way to make you spend money in game, didn't you know?

    The rank 8 ring is awesomesauce, and naturally you need the previous ring to get that rank ring. By making you unable to get rid of it, they are subtly saying "Pay to get the best rank, make this ring awesome and usable, or have it sit around and take up valuable space so that it may irritate you every time you see it."

    It's all part of their money-making plan.
