PWI account trading

Hiya all!
The reason i am writing this is that i use i pwi account which i got bored to play so i decided that i would like to sell it so to get a fresh start at making a new account! So as soon as i post that at wc i get pms of pwi "policemen" that i would get a ban , or they will delete my account or generally will kill me and crusify me maybe....

My questions are the following:

1. Is it really bannable to sell an account for INGAME COIN not for real money(which tbh is an exploit)? plz dont answer what some pal told you but plz paste us the exact saying at the game rules.

4.Concluding.I really thing that account trading should be an option in game and under the protection and security of pw company.So no scums-no wc spam and of course a new player base will be created from all these experienced users who have done enough bh s or fcs in the past and they ******n want just to try another class at their end game potential.

    I kinda understand that your main goal is to discuss about that (and maybe you could have posted it as a suggestion as well). But according to me this is a taboo for PWE and your thread will probably get closed pretty fast.

    Section 4.7 of the ToS
    Your Account may only to be used by you. We are not responsible for any misuse of your Account or your User ID, you agree to accept all risks of misuse of and unauthorized access to your Account and to hold us and our affiliates harmless from and against any misuse use of your Account or your User ID, including, but not limited to, improper or unauthorized use by someone to whom you revealed your password.

    The first sentence saying that only you are permitted to use the account that you registered should be fairly clear.

    If you do go ahead and try sell your account you will be liable for any ToS violations made using that account even if you are not the one using it.

    How can you get bored from a account?Just make another stupid toon on the same account to start over on something else.Or make a whole new account and use the other account as a store or more bh stuff or something.Are you that poor ingame and desperate?The answer for you is no,but would be a cool thing to do if toons could be sold,maybe with a bill of sale lol.


    Also I can see you (the OP) just botting toons(new accounts) voiding terms of service by logging in over 2 accounts at one time to sell accounts.

    In this case may is finite as it is PWE giving you permission to use the account. If you read through the ToS you don't own the account, PWE does.

    Trading/sharing acc have a high risk of scamming, anyone sane enough wouldn't buy/share acc.

    This. It has already been confirmed a lot of times on that forum.
    And I do totally agree with the high scamming risks. Basically since the account is associated to a mail (that is not related at all to PWE), someone could sell you the account, then getting back the account by resetting the password (some people might say you can change the email very fast or "sell" the emails as well, but I could find a lot of other examples) So even if this was not a TOS violation I would advise anyone to never buy an account :)

    Not only is a bannable, but giving an account to someone else is problematic. Given the number of things emails connected to accounts are needed for these days, the new owner would have issues there. It would also be very easy to scam someone or get scammed (you could either take the money and then not give them the login info, or give them info and not receive money) which of course PWI doesn't want to deal with.

    Various employees have answered this question over the years with the same reply = account sharing/selling/giving away is bannable.

    Why not make a new account, NPC/sell everything useful off the old one and just pass the money over...? If you are changing servers, that's unfortunate. I personally have a ton of stuff and money stuck on Sanctuary from doing that years ago but I just dealt with it because I wanted to change.
