1 picture and 4 lines of text, or 8 lines of text w/ no picture. SOME FREQUENT POSTERS... have ridiculous novel like amounts of text AND a picture; it makes for longer load times of pages, and more scrolling. vote for smaller sig limits today!

to be honest, theres no need to quote a million insignificant lines, half of them arent even funny.

For if I'm to understand correctly and correctly understand the present situation, which I may or may not understand correctly, then it seems that you all don't make sense at all.

    They are just looking for something to complain about. Images make a fraction of a second of download on broadband which almost everyone has. Text takes nothing to download. Almost no one plays MMO's on dial up.

    @natassiya, i can lock up your internet with just spamming of the same word on one page, its called a DDoS attack.

    ie: if i posted the word spamspamspamspam thousands of times, the page would lock up on you.

    Its not the loading times that are annoying. I ad-blocked most frequent poster's image siggies (yes, including my own b:chuckle). Dont want to see/read them 4964575686578 times.

    even though I have a sig file myself I would be quite fine if they just removed it completely. at least they limit the size of the pictures unlike another forum i go to often b:surrender

    Err... Yeah. First off I thought the sig size limit was small, and you're asking it to be reduced even more? I've actually seen smaller on some other forums, so I guess I gotta be thanful, hehe.

    Though I gotta agree, some posters go with wall-of-text sigs. They don't take time to load, just annoying - but it's something I can overlook.

    (Kinda off-topic, kinda... well mine seems to get the point across. The number of PMs asking me if I was German has dropped nicely, lol).
