b:angry im mad that there is only girl for venomancer since that is the main class for pets and i for 1 love pets i think they should egleast make a guy class that usses pets

    And I'd like a female barb but we can't have everything we want now can we.

    Just make a Veno and have fun...it's not as if it's going to ruin your game to play one.

    Search is your friend. You are not the first to complain about this, and not the last. Trust me.

    Just make a Venomancer and either customize her to look more like a guy or just make her look like your girlfriend or the girl you like. There is nothing wrong with playing a girl character. After all, sometimes, it is more pleasing to sit in front of the computer and watch a girl's *** when walking, rather than the guy. Besides, you'd have an advantage with a female character over the male characters. You can be given rides, male characters can't. b:laugh

    No, you'd still be a guy, you would just be using a female character. Is a guy not allowed to play Tomb Raider just because Lara Croft is a girl? Is a girl not allowed to play Halo just because Master Chief is a guy? Really, think about what you are saying. If you are comfortable with your masculinity, you won't mind playing a female character. If you aren't and you question your masculinity, you won't play a female character. Either way, play it if you want, don't play it if you don't want to. It is your choice, but please don't complain about the class being gender locked when so many others have tried and failed at the exact same thing.

    yes but still its kinda weird when ur friends will think ur a *** or somthing and they should just make a male version or let some other class get pets and ive played as 1 befor its just rlly rlly weird when tons of dude ask to give u a ride and then u say im a guy and they say wtf are u **** or somthing so there point made! b:angry

    Almost all of the other veno's I know in this game are guys in real life. No one will think you're **** for playing one.
    There's no such thing as a "Perfect World" full of Jade, diamonds, gold, and other riches and treasures. There is only an imperfect world, with an imperfect society, full of imperfect people, with imperfect idea's about how to be perfectly rich and perfectly perfect.     oh please.. I play a female psy, a female wiz and a veno, everyone who knows me knows I'm a guy. no one thinks any different of me for it. You/They are either sexist or paranoid, either one is not good, get over it.

    and if you get the "are you ****" card from people you're on the wrong server, or hanging with the wrong crowd. I know several people who play female characters despite being male, and having the choice to be one.

    I walk up to people when I need chi and I ask them if I can get chi from them. How many women you know that say "bro"? It's a mater of respect, they don't have it they don't deserve what they have.

    Well, either you say "no, thank you," or you say, "sure." You don't need to announce you are a guy to every single person out there, just if someone starts to hit on you or something, say "hey, I'm only into girls." There are many, many ways to avoid having to say you are a guy if you are uncomfortable with that.

    In any case, you are worrying what a bunch of people on a virtual game are saying about you. Think about that.

    Also, just for you to say back to anyone. 80% of all males who are homophobic are actually homosexual themselves. After saying that, either they will say they were just curious, or they will say nothing or even try to deny being homosexual. Either way, its a win.

    I want a were-hare for a female barb...can you imagine how mean she could be with the "defend young" skill? Seriously...mother animals are vicious when their young are attacked...I'd like to harness one of those to kill bosses. o.o

    All the DD's in the game would have a Cat-Nip skill which would stun the feline barbs and make them miss 50% of attacks for 300 seconds.

    It is rather silly with the gender restrictions but ppl have complained for years and im pretty sure we just have to suck it up.

    I find it kinda annoying about barbs, its the strongest 1v1 pvp class endgame - but if you wanna play the strongest class you have to be a dude char <.<

    I just hate that my barb is a guy and if it was a female tiger i prolly try harder to get it to 99+, invest more in gear and refines and get more lvl 11 skills b:cry

    And im sure its the same for many guys that likes the aspect of having OP pets but dont necessarily want to have **** in game.

    I agree with this, and its also one of the reasons my barb isnt as high level. I feel "weird" as a male b:surrender
    Though admitedly it makes for fun RP with my partner since my barb is married to my bf's veno b:chuckle

    the reason for the gender lock is in the (game) mythology around the charaters however. werefox were temptresses much akin to the sirens of greek mythology

    I'm not sexist, or paranoid... but I do always scratch my head and wonder about someone who plays a gender opposite class when both a male and female are able to be chosen, especially when they have girly names...

    Some guys just like to have female chars, and somewhere deep inside them, I wonder if they do fancy being approached and hit on by other guys. It just makes sense. ijstbhimolol

    Yeah, and it's the ones who pretend to actually be girls that I find most troubling. I know a few of those in game, that even though a bunch of people actually know they're guys, they'll still deny it if you ask.

    And yeah, my response to your last statement isn't any prettier, so I'll just leave that one alone. lol
