Confused about mount! Help? D;

Hey, sorry if this is not the right place to post this and sorry for my bad English.

I have a lvl11 NPC horse that was spurred once and its speed is 10 m/s. It won't gain any more exp, so I was wondering if it can reach max speed (11 m/s is max, right? xD) if I buy a galewind spurs item? Or spurs of alacrity would be enough? Or these items wouldn't help at all? *confused*

    you currently have it at its max speed and level, it wont go anyfaster.

    You need to double spur it to get it to 11 speed using the cheaper 1 of the spurs i think

    You'll have to use the second upgrade, which is the galewind spurs, to allow it to reach its max speed.

    At lvl 85 you should know better. I have something else to say here, but it would be flaming you so I'll keep it to myself.

    You have to buy the higher spur as already stated. You can usually buy the horse cheaper already spurred than you can buy the spurs. Just an FYI :)

    also yesh NPC horses can't run @ 11m/s
    actually the panther and snowcub when double spurred maxes out @ 10 m/s

    They do. (I have the black npc one at 11 m/s)
    But I agree, a simple "you're mistaken" would've been sufficient.

    Edit: to hamsta, those go up to 11 m/s too :p I have the snowcub (double spurred: once with the cheaper one, 2nd time with the more expensive one) as well.

    Yep, NPC horses can be double-spurred just like all the other mounts. I wont post screenies since others already have, but I'll just add a +1.. or +2 since I have 2 of 'em XD

    So basically all mounts can run 11m/s if you're willing to shell out $25 for two different spurs; just pick the one you think is the most beautiful, awesome, terrifying, fitting, cost-effective, and or odd.

    Good job paying attention. If you'd bothered to click "Show all recipes" you'd find the NPC horses in there too. b:laugh

    So if I am following this right all mounts can go 11? I know the spurs say 9->10. So for examplw if I were to get a ride like the horse would I need to use 2 low spurs to go from 7 to and and 8 to 9 then use 2 gale spurs to go from 9 to 10 and 10 to ll. Or how does it work? I was thinking about a nightfall or midnight but they say max- 10

    Snow cubs, panthers, horses (I think the npc ones?)

    Start at 8.0 m/s right out of the egg.
    When you max its level, it goes up to 9.0 m/s.
    One set of spurs 10.0 m/s.
    Two sets of spurs 11.0 m/s.

    Other mounts require fewer upgrades, but it is possible to get all mounts to 11.0.

    go to ur local pet manager and check this out :D all of these mounts can be made to 11m/s. the other mounts that are not in there can not be upgraded, If u notice NightFall and Midnight are not in there, thus only go 10m/s D:
