Grats on the first use of your troll account.

    Totally agreed...

As for the others, you can still totally get enough hp from refines and what not. There are people on HT that have little vit and their gear is refined in the +9, +10, area. They have plenty of hp.

If I understand tweakz' build, he is PvE. So he doesnt need mad hp and massive mag works great for PvE.

In PvP of course it wouldnt work out so well. Unless you had your gear refined high. I plan on loosing many of my vit stones and vit stats into mag once refining is higher.

@ UglyPandaGuy, HA veno's are not the worst thing one can go for. I know a very minimal group of people who are HA venos and they do not complain about their pet heals, magic attack and what arcane venos exceed in that they do not. It's not "the worst"

@ Solandri I was not wearing my warsong belt in that screen shot I think? My physical defense never changes because when I restatted to and back it was just my magic and vitality that were changed nothing else b:surrender

PS: Was playing around with avatars, don't know why I'm posting on this thing...

    Yep, learn your class.

Uhm, You noticed I added "Ok, I'm aware that by this time, the mob will be dead! But what about elites/bosses that are not [?]?" at the end?
Our argument is based on the assumption that you can wear your current level armor.... when someone says they are pure mag, that means they put ALL points available into mag EXCEPT those needed to wear gear...

Please follow a conversation and not try to be a smart **** before trying to add to it :-/

I added "Ok, seriously now." at the start of the next section. That was reffering to the the things you were quoting. It ment that I didn't excactly meen what I wrote.

Instead of writing the same thing as you over again down here, just read the red part from quote.

Skill, experience, funds, and the lag of your PC.
If a player is very skilled, with the experience of 300 hh,
is not unlikely that he can survive better than a build based on HP
if she avoid being hit by mobs for example.
if he knows what angle has to lurk to avoid mobs. he knows at what point is better for lurare, if he has the reflexes more trained of a common veno.
but if not, can not play that build and dies all the time.

each build has vantages and disvantages
    all depend on player's skill

Anyhow, if your reasoning behind having all the magic you have for pet heals I suggest you start using channeling gear. Amarah has about -54 channeling and has a lot less magic than you have and he is still far more than capable of healing his herc when we duo TT3-2, 3-3's and world bosses.
    now you made me curious..
is it even possible to get that much channeling? i have to see yet what kind of iems are people using. anyway. pet heal is like 1.5 sec channeling and 1 second reuse, with -50% channeling i think venos get to the max limit. with 54% you have to wait for reuse, never tested but probably is like that.

Channeling is the time from when you push the heal button to when it fires.

Cast time is how long you have to wait after the heal fires before you can do anything. Use a skill, attack, etc. As best as I can tell, you can't even move during the cast delay.

Cooldown is the amount of time from when a skill fires to when you can push the button to use it again. It runs concurrently with the cast delay timer. (So if a spell has 1 sec cast time, 2 sec cooldown, you only need to wait 2 sec to push the button again).

Levle 10 pet heal has 1.5 sec channel, 1.0 sec cast, 1.0 sec cooldown. So spam-healing with zero channeling, you're casting heal every 2.5 seconds.

With 54% channel, your channel time drops to 0.69 sec. So you're casting heal every 1.69 sec. (Actually I think the game's internal clock only has a resolution of 0.05 sec, so it'd be once every 1.7 sec.)

As for max channeling, there are rings, wrist armor, cape, necklace, and belt which can all be up to -6%. One of the new hats gives -3%. The rank 5-7 chest armor is -3%, the rank 8 version is -6%. Love Up and Down gives -1%. Having 2 pieces of the TT99 armor will give you -3%. And the Weapon of the Sages goes up to -10%. Two stones of savant on the weapon will give you another -6%

If I added all that up right, there's a total of of -65% permanent channel possible. There are all sorts of apothecary items, genie skills, a wizard skill, and cleric red bubble which will temporarily reduce channeling beyond that.

    i know what is channeling/casting/cooldown
i was thinking that cooldown starts in the same time you start channeling.. too many games confused me
i've seen all kind of channeling status on items but never on hat/boots or leggings
now, apothecary or genies skills cant be spammed so its not really worth if you cant keep a boss for long time while cleric bubble cuts channeling by 20% and its cheaper

Maybe you should be a wiz or archer if you don't want to play veno proper? Venos like me get annoyed at venos who only know to spam venemous scarab.

First off, thank you for saying trying to be, since that meens I'm not.

Second, as far as I can see, I'm still waiting for an answer to my question, regarding the topic. "Learning to play the class" was a kinda lame answer...

I made a -9 channeling +150HP OHT necklace for Amarah, -6 channeling belt +150, Lunar rings, TT100 with two savant stones which gives a total of -12 channeling, a lunar cape which also gives -6 channeling, -3 channeling bonus from TT99, another -6 from the TT99 gloves.

I think that sums it up to -54 channeling.
My words of advice, lower down your expectations so that you wont set yourself up for disappointments. Expect low, aim high.
