Dragon Orb 9*

Does anyone know another other method to obtain a 9* Dragon orb beside crafting it with 30 x chienkun stones and 12 x 5* orbs recipe or 6* + 7* +8* orbs recipe?
I saw some of peoples dumping out 9* orbs on Heaven tear server at well below the cost to obtain these orbs via the 2 recipes mentioned above. It's pure accidental to craft an orb you don't want and resell cheaper, but in this case people are dumping out so many I just wonder if there's more recipes that is cheaper then the recipes mentioned above. b:shocked

    Buy them all and sell them for a profit :D. As for recipes, no idea. The chienkun way is too expensive, the 6,7,8 way is expensive to. Only good alternative is 10* for a 9*.

    The only way (legal) i can think of. Gold bought at 1.1m, they bought 1* orbs at 0.45 gold for 10 sale. 9* would cost about 37.9m to make. Dragon ocean sell for a similar price, so not sure it is worth it.

    Naturally if they employed a similar "****" like the LUAD fiasco, in that case not aware of this.

    if i had to guess, its people who are buying 3, 4 and 5 star orbs near the jewelcrafter from people gambling on dragon fire packs, and combining them into 9*s for resale.

    Someone look into this please. I'm from Heaven's Tear server as well and I remember one shop put out 29 ninestar orbs the other day at 20% below what it suppose to cost to make via the dragon firepack's discount. A reseller /merchanter would never sell below cost useless they can get it dirt cheap or free. I hope it's not another website giveaway exploit similiar to the Love: Up and Down/facebook blessing exploit last year.b:shocked

    Can you give some specific prices? You guys are probably underestimating the average payout of dragon fire. At the current sale a +9 orb costs around 52.5 gold.

    on heaven tear server gold is about 1.8m each. 52.5 gold is about 94.5m right? Well these 9 * orb are being sold at 75-80m each. 75m if u buy alot. 80m if u buy 1. tell me if this is not worrisome.b:surrender

    In my opinion, its pretty normal price for this kind of orb.

    Might be rude to say, but are people really that dumb on heaven's tear? 10* is 1/2 that price and it gets the job done. Why would anyone even buy a 9* at that price?

    If orbs are bought at 102k, 9* costs 76.5m, maybe people are "bad" at pricing things, or they are liquidating inventory. But the price is within the norm. Had they been selling it at 25m each, i would worry, after buying them all and selling them at 45m.

    I don't think its rude to say. Its just a PROVEN idiotic person calling someone else dumb in hopes of making himself feel semi intelligent. Here is a question for you genius... how do you propose those of us with money to go beyond +10 to get +11 or +12 orbs?

    I tend to ignore the chance of getting a 12* when factoring the average value of DF packs, they are just too flukey and skew the results unless you're buying packs in the 10's of thousands. Can't find my math now, but it worked out to very close to 2.5 orbs per pack which is the number I use. This puts it at 54 gold. If the orbs are being sold for well under this amount, it does seem fishy.

    Use +10 orb for +9 (and +8) unless you really need a +11 orb then you have to make a +9 orb (and a +8 orb too).

    This has nothing to do with this conversation. OP is asking if there is some way to make 9* orbs that would correspond to the cheap prices he has seen. Looks like there might be some exploit going on, or perhaps someone is filled with Christmas spirit and selling below cost.

    I would worry more of those that sell "refining services" at dirty cheap prices...I wonder what kind of tricks/glitches they use to refine something +9 for less than 100M....okay I known some people refined things +7 with just Refining stones,but giving a +9 **guaranteed* within 5 minutes sounds like someone its amusing a glitch...

    No where does it say it takes them five mins. They offer collateral because it takes time sometimes. Ive gotten tons of +9s with stones from event gold. It isn't that hard, it just takes some time and patience.

    And yes, I also think it's kind of dumb to sell something for that high of a price, not because it's necessary, but because it's rare and hard to make. 9* dragon orbs shouldn't cost that much. I hope no one was buying them, honestly...

    NW made Cube Necklaces easier to obtain. You can get the warsouls for a fraction of the cost now. All you need to buy are the cogs now. In reality it only cost around 70m max to make one. So seeing a shop with 5 isn't anything special. There are a few people on Sanctuary where all they do is use CoF letters and spam adv cube for the cogs and make a killer profit.

    Aaaah, okay. I haven't really been able to NW or go near the forges. My computer ATM can't handle all the lag, so I couldn't be bothered looking into it. Thanks!
