Hey all,

AOE grinding on Avalanche Crushers in third map is the best there is for grinding XP / SP and gives decent drops. I have had a few requests asking for me to make a vid since I mentioned it before so here it finally is:

This is the third past map and is not accessible until level 92 I think. The quest to get there is long and involves progressing in Rebirth Delta. While the spot is popular with BMs, it is possible for an archer to grind there pretty much just as fast. Here I am doing it unbuffed and uncharmed and only really using barrage. I don't see any other archers doing this on Sanctuary but it's definitely a fun way to grind.

To do this uncharmed I'd say the minimum requirements are 5.5k HP, TT90 +5 weapon, and lvl 10 barrage. My genie is pretty well suited to this for being high Mag / Vit with Tree of protection and Chi Siphon to help gain chi.

The process is pretty simple:

1) Get at least 2 sparks
2) Get on a mount and gather all the mobs
3) Try to find an increase life mob if you can
4) Wait for them to gather together
5) Start barrage
6) Cast tree of protection
7) Finish off the mobs
8) Pick up loot while waiting for mobs to respawn
7) Go to step 1

My strategy relies almost entirely on barrage so having a chi skill on the genie really helps, I also have claws to build chi faster. Each round I am killing like 25 or 30 mobs and can do this like 35 or 40 times an hour.

    Wow, this is great! I never even thought about coming back here after +10'ing my bow. I just hope my zeal genie is good enough without chi siphon, will test:)

    Instead of Tree + Chi Siphon you can also use Expel and Cloud Eruption. Expel will give 9 seconds of physical immunity but you have to cast it after you start barrage.

    Or you can just have a cleric slave to heal you :) Buffs of course help but arent super necessary.

    I have to vote for cloud eruption. It always gives 1 spark, despite what the skill description says.

    there is no single mob grind there... since everything is 3-4 linked and you can't walk a single step without getting a few on you. those mobs don't hit hard... just that there is a lot of them. and i am sure 95 is more then enough to hand that group of melee mobs just outside of the tp guy.

    heh thats what i did earlier cept that had no chi skill. b:surrender. stopped after running out of hp pots. the mp/hp regen pots really helps. hmm i guess i will keep the other genie i was goin to sell.

    Its faster with aoe lightning and wingspan. Takes me 3 shots to take'm down. Pot the regen pilll, get all buffs and knck urself out. I just holy path, gather all mobs and spam winspan and lightning. Also havin the 1000% evasion helps @ times. I used the sparks to kill faster and regen hp and @ times of dire need.

    But, I have nvr grinded at that place for more than 25 mins. Its boring as hell.

    ok i know this i archer thread but somebody tryed same with wizzy? i need the crit shoes with wizzard and idk if not too long compared with archer.

    I did this when I was like 97.

    You can do it with just wingspan and blast but I found this way easier and safer. Using just wingspan spreads out the drops.

    Keep in mind they are level 150 so there is 75% damage reduction and 20% more XP.

    The mobs that drop the eyes are in a different area and you can't aoe grind on them as easily.

    tq the info, still i see they are maybe a bit weaker than ur mob so maybe not too bad XD i will try and after 1 week i will decide if it worth or no :)

    they can drop time book(chapter for lv100 skill) or misswriteing in pwdatabase ?

    According to the database they can drop chrono page, but with a chance that is next to zero. Prolly 1 out of a million.



    A small addition to the nice guide that Asterelle made: wingspan can be very useful to knock the mobs away from where they spawn, if you run a little bit away from them before casting. Instead of casting it in the middle of the group. In that way you dont spread them out.


    I actually came to this topic to tell about how the evasion 79 skill finally has a proper use, but it s mentioned already. I'm fairly amazed by how this buff practically grants you immunity for those 8 seconds.

    I quit. Nothing ever changes @ PWE or PW CN . Expansion was over hyped. Guild bases (that looked cool) can be destroyed, so why waste the time if your a in a small faction like me.

    hard to tell from the quality of the video, but it looks like she's just using Tree of Protection after starting BoA, and potting only with herb yuanxiao to keep the BoA up. She's got some crab meat there (for what its worth) but doesn't appear to be using it at all.
