I got scammed

i found a consignment shop that was buying lime stones at 200k coins and selling them at 100k. i bought one and when i tried to sell it, it said service unnavailable.can i pls get my 100k back?and i think that's a bug too, setting a buy price that you do not have

    if u really were scamed this is gona get locked cuz of the no naming and shaming rule

    EDIT: u werent scamed lol -.-... just that the person didnt have 100k yet
    that sale was perfectly legal...no scam

    Thats not getting scammed.That happens to some shops where you can buy but can not sell. I dont know what it is but it happens time to time with shops either if it is a bug or just a problem with connection. And no you cant set a buy price you cant afford.

    u set up a shop
    u have 500k in inv
    2 ppl sell to u 2 of those things
    u have 100k left
    u cant byu it...

    i guess it could happen...

    idk tho

    Yea, I saw this once with someone using mantou (the cheap one you can buy for 100coins)

    He was selling them for 100k, and buying 1 for 1,5 mil. In a shop next to it, there were mantou's for 50k.
    So, having some mantou's lying around, I try to sell mine. Unavailable. It means the player doesn't have enough coins to buy your product. In other words, you buy stuff thinking you can sell it for more, while you can't sell it for more cause the player doesn't have the cash to buy it..

    Or in other words: yes, you got scammed.


    Though at this thing, just buy 2, than the person has 200k. Sell 1 for the 200k, and npc the other one. You just scammed the scammer for 200 coins b:laugh

    If that was the case you could only set 2 to buy. OR maybe even, he had a full inv. and he couldnt buy because of that. Works the same way when you try to buy something. If you have a full inv. and try to buy a herb or mat that you already have in your inv. it wont go into that stack, it goes into a new spot.

    You just got schooled, fool.

    If its sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

    But its good that you are passing on the information so poeple will be aware of what to look out for.

    Also im thinking he didn't have any money so you couldn't sell limestone back. If you would have bought another one then he would have had 200k and you could have sold one and broke even or actually made a tiny profit, cause you have a remaining limestone.

    If you can make money from his shop, how can it be a scam? Tell me where im wrong.

    You honestly think someone would sell an item at 100k and then buy it back for 200k, if you believed that you deserved to be scam.

    The thing I dont understand is, why would you fall for it? Doesn't is seem a little strange that the person is buying for more than selling it for? I dont think the person that scammed you should be punished or anything. People need to learn to think before making purchases. Why help people that arent very intelligent? IMO its a good way for kids to learn about the cold, hard world we live in.

    He could have just killed some low level mobs that drop those and not risked a thing. But he got too excited and wanted to make the easy money before someone else saw it.

    Besides the whole issue about it being a scam.

    To the OP: You got what you deserve. Seeing that someone has made a mistake in their shop (in your opinion) you try to take advantage of their downfall and buy them out and sell them back at 200%.

    And by the rules of the forums you can't accuse someone of an act in public. These matters are to be directed privately with the PWI stay through the ticketing system.

    Oh come on...It's the most OBVIOUS scam I've ever seen in my life. You guys are unbelievable ^^ Someone could probably chainsaw off your arms and run off laughing at you, and you'd be looking for proof before you decide there was "any malice in his intent".

    No naming and shaming though ^^ But do submit a ticket.

    I removed the images as they did contain the shop name. While this is a decidedly questionable practice, please note that it was your choice to buy this item. Unfortunately it is difficult to take action in issues like this, as you were not actively scammed in any way.

    Think about it: Why would I intentionally set up a shop that hemorrhaged my own money?
