I think the skill is called soul burn, but its the lvl 49 skill. It's an active curse so that whenever the target strikes, your soulforce hits them as damage.

I have 2900 soulforce at the moment.


does that mean if i had soul burn at my current level, it would hit the target for 2900 ? (or 725 in pvp)

    simple answer : no
    although u got 75% dmg reduce in pvp

    i tried it when aoe grinding a
    some mobs --- dmg return was more or less negegtable .. btw i got 6.7kish soupower ,, dmg returned on lvl 50 mobs was about 1k if i remember right-- had white voodoo turned on.. but dun think this hase something to do with it

    Yeah it means trouble for a bunch of classes if this is right. At lvl 90 our skill force should be in the late 8000's or early 9000's?

    that means 2250 HP loss for classes.

    Well, that's why! You had white voodoo turned on, which reduced your attack level...and possibly the damage from Soulburn. Try it again without any voodoo's, and see what happens.

    Yes sir it is.

    I was doing that at lvl 90 though. So soulforce is high 8000's low 9000's.

    divide that by 4. = 2250 HP loss.


    But as kona said, we're still waiting confirmation from a 49+ Pyschic using no voodoo buffs.

    EDIT: The late 8000's low 9000's is an estimation by what my soulforce was at lvl 30, and multiplying by 3. And that estimation is not including the refined armor the lvl 90 may be wearing (which also boosts soul force)

    EDIT: Just guys remember, This works best on opponents like assasins, on mage users it might not work quite as well, Assasins do little damage but hit fast, and every hit = tons of hp loss, but wizards can one hit most of us xD

    But this definetly makes me happy about the class I picked<3

    But imo BOTH of these new classes are borken but a TON of fun to play...

    Psy is not OP. Anyone who says Psy is OP is naive. I feel strong, but i dont feel one bit OP. Maybe from pve experience but, wait! Look at the psy's rating. We are made for grinding. My PvP experience is limited to only a few duels but i either barely win or barely lose. Thats why i am adding a few vit, cap it at 50 to still have a lot of damage but decent survivability.

    If you played your class right, there's no need for vit in the first place. 50 mag stats lost, is a waste.

    if you do need more def, you should always use white voodoo, that's the reason why it is there...

    im only lvl 30. I three hit Archers my own lvl, and all LA-MAG i can 3hit or less.

    no...press "c" and hover over the soulburn text it will tell you how much damage soulburn will do...i think b:surrender

    I get the feeling that this class is going to be more close ranged. After seeing my level 96 wizard friend get omgwtflolwutpwnd by a 7x sin, i got worried. My friend has 4.8k HP unbuffed, 6k pdef self buffed with stone barried and he was charmed. He was down in 6 seconds, no hyperbole there. I think the extra HP would be nice, so i can use black voodoo on certain mobs without worrying about my HP. Also, since its the magic number 50, i can easily choose to restat it if i wish, but i might keep it because like i said, im starting to think this class is more about close range damage dealing.

    soul burn? hmm, that would explain why i died so damn fast to this lvl 50 psy just by atking him... (he didnt do anything but stand there and i died lol)

    if this is true then u guys best hide this thread from the GMsb:shocked i can smell a nerf on its way if they find this XD. but that skill red tide (id rather it be called rip tide tho for some reason lol) seems it will be freakin awesome to. it does massive dmg and a chance to bleed the target with dmg equal to ur soul force.
