Who Will The Tideborn Replace?

so im sure everyone has heard that sq's r not goin 2 b expanded to allow 8 members for the tideborn release. so here is my question for all you smart pwi gamers. assuming that tideborn wont b an epic fail( which i havnt decided if it will b or not. all these double xp weekends seems to b preparing us 4 a epic letdown, but who knows i could b wrong) which two classes do you think will b unwanted? and why? currently i think it will have to b archers and blademasters. because archers dd power relies on crits and crits alone, i hardly roll with archers and never missed them and when i do they steal agreo more then me(thats saying something cause im a wizard b:victory ) and i believe that blademasters had such potential yet were a let down in the end, they have nothing really to bring to the table execpt 4 some buffs and a nice back up 4 barbs.

so lets hear it, am i crazy? do you agree? do you think other classes will b pushed out?

You're not on topic in your own topic. Stop trash talking. The truth is I don't think any class will be replaced. I think that in the beginning many people will make tideborns so they will be used more in squads during that time, but as things settle down about them it will be just like it is now, get what you need in a squad to do the job, regardless of what classes that is. Of course all the details remain to be seen, so who really knows.

Saying what classes the new races will replace it kinda a bad way to think of things because, if they do replace classes, wizard will be thrown right in there. Since the caster class is like a wiz hybrid.

On the topic, Blademasters bring to the table buffs, debuffs, amps, stuns, disrupts, and alot of them can Tank, I for one tank everything I do. Archers have evasion buff and run speed buff, they have many ways to put the hurt on bosses, and have sharpen tooth. If the boss comes to them, they can make sure the bosses/mobs damage can be reduced so the tanks can pick up aggro again etc.

What do wizards bring to the table? Water buff to single targets, and damage, and a few element debuffs that only help themselves, so when they pull aggro they well, you know what earth tastes like. b:surrender which one would you replace.

Ah but still despite your perception of BMs and archers I don't think that the tideborn will take up a spot in the current line of classes I think they will create their own place to do their own certain job thats helpful.

A squad of DDs and with an assassin should work really well in case of clerics not being found.

But in essence, like said in 100 different threads, you cannot replace any class currently there. Its all about preference.

Some like archers while others wizards as DD. A wiz + archer DD combo is something to look for

Till date everything has been going pretty well without tideborns, so why would you have any problems with the existing classes when they do come?

Depending upon the availability of classes, the squad strategies would need to be adapted. That is all!!!

Veno's for a start. There are ways around our ability to lure, we don't make primary tanks...
Our role on a rainbow rebirth squad is to run off and dig up chests, for crying out loud.

And some of the assassin abilities (fading out, leeching health) look a lot like veno ones.

b:laugh its not about the 79 skills at all this is something that will come with time and quite frankly your comment about it being a week to 79 just proves my statement even more. The reason I said 80 or 85 is because thats around the time people get it in their head on how to work with everyone sometimes it hits them around 60 but it hasn't seemed to hit you yet so play a few more months and you will totally get it.

And if you don't see how a BM is useful you have never had a few Bms in your sqaud and they chain stunned a group while a archer zhened them and the BMs used dragons on cool down. You will NEVER see a group of mobs go down faster or more simple then with a good BM. b:bye just so you know in a current market each of the 3 79 skills which you will probably only be getting one of cause your a wizard cost 3 million. Well actually that depends on the pages if they are given to you it costs at least 1 million coins if you have to buy them at about 85k yah you need 20 for each skill unless you are a major cat shopper then I doubt it.
