Wizzeled - Sanctuary

When i started it was cluttered with well the right stuff and how to help archer and such then it was flooded with math then "SAGE R FAIL DEMON R WIN" and such now its gotten to the point where its just plain out sarcasm on skills and such and honestly if a nub read some of this they'd take it serious and end up maxing the WRONG skills for what they are wanting to do.


So please for ****s sakes take this **** seriously because I've honestly seen other archers using the advice of "max your DOT skills" and such to use against barbs I mean SURE to SOME extent some WEIRD ****ED UP extent they COULD help hell I know bleed from a barb ****ed my **** over once in a 3v1 got that Ironguard off but the bleed got me before charm ticked lol so yeah in some aspects that stuff can work wonders.


So please hate me all you want be please....don't let other archers make fail mistakes be serious in your post teach them how to not be fail don't hate on them for it.

I don't care. If they are dumb/lazy enough to not learn for themselves or use basic common sense to realize that 6 damage over 34 days sucks they deserve to be bad.

This is stickied at the very top as well. I seriously doubt anyone has been fooled by the few joke threads. If archers are using DoTs it is because they were predisposed to think that all skills in this game are worthwhile and effective and never bothered doing any empirical analysis.

The math is there for people who don't know how to factor in contributions of dexterity or weapon attack to damage. Too often people expect that once they learn sage bow mastery they will see 30% more damage and make a cultivation decision based on that.

Actually to be honest I think I went sage just because everyone said go Demon. Just to start **** lol I'm an **** hole . I started to max my DOT skills AFTER everything else was maxed cuz quite frankly I was bored but gave up cuz my genie was hungry.


I've taken peeks at the math and yeah I SHOULD have went demon but ask yourself this..........as OP as I am already.........would you really want me MORE OP? lol Going sage put me at a perm disadvantage and it makes the game that much more fun.

"With your gear going sage didnt change much" I can pull off 0.91 attackrate imagine that + demon spark with my gear, **** much? Offtopic FTW

I don't really think sage is fail, I just find it boring.

For me crits and attack speed are exciting and so many other demon skills add fun effects.

Sage skills are just better versions of normal skills. The stun lasts longer, the mastery gives more damage, the tooth takes off more health, the shield absorbs more damage, etc. There isnt a huge change in how you play the archer aside from spamming master li's technique every 30 seconds. It is easy to dismiss these small improvements when demon throws in a cool buff or whatever but the culmination of all those together can build a compelling case for sage.

I am also devoting spirit to DOTs atm just to get that all out of the way b:chuckle

Depends on how well you can kite. Assuming the barb doesn't have a charm, if you DoT the barb then run like hell, it should work.

I used to play an MMO where DoTs were an archer's life. No, really, they had single target poison, bleed, and illness then an AoE poison. I loved being an archer there but the game turned into CS = win so I came here. That's why I incorporate DoTs into my play style and don't care if you call me a noob for it. b:victory

if you forked out the $ to get 100/r8 you can get 1 atk/s without quickshot lol.

as under powered archers are at a high lvl your making yourself even more underpowered even though you consider yourself OP. sure you got good gears and **** but that duesnt change the fact that at your lvl archers are the bottom of the food chain. and your logic is laugable, why would you not want to **** at the ebst potential you can possibly have? thats like if some one offer you a warsoul and you be like "nah imma use my crimson horn bow, that weapon would make me far too strong. i rather not be able to kill anything i see and be an average archer that gets **** at end game by the wizzard class."

End game wizard class I could take down at lvl 95 (yes 100+ wizzies) they really arnt a problem for me at all.

As it stands it took about 3 mag users on me lvl 90+ to kill me in a TW (not fully buffed either, they might have been idk how Nef buffs their players)


Archers are anything but under powered at end game if they know what the **** they are doing, and don't listen to TearValerin it assumes because I goofed around at 8x that I must fail at 9x, under-estimation will lead to it's rapeadation

archer players can have a lot of skill, use genies, charms, and drugs well and end up performing very nicely, but that's not exclusive to the class. for class vs class debates you want to assume everyone is on an equal footing with regards to refines, charms (atk and def charms i mean), genie skills, and drugs.

As far as DOTs go blood vow is actually pretty decent. All the other archer DOTs do a fixed damage over time but Blood Vow's damage over time is actually based off your base damage.

I think Blood Vow is a stronger dot than Demon Stormrage but I haven't learned that yet.

isn't it 150% your base damage? i think it's much greater than 12k for lvl 11 Eagleon...moreover, is the DoT damage not also affected by the amp inflicted to the target?

Well demon stormrage is over 15 seconds while blood vow is 30. I am not sure if blood vow dot is amped but it probably is. That 150% base damage stat is a little weird as I don't know of other skills that multiply base damage like that.

its probably why its a 100 skill, alot of them have pretty unique effects you wouldnt find otherwise.

IE veno one reducing attack rate by 100% and crit by 300%
or the other that can reduce channel by 90%

archers are underpowered... your just not because you spent like 100 thousand dollars on this game to get rediculous armor(+12 bow in the hands of an archer is a dangerous thing unless the other wizzard have a +12 weapon to). i hight doubht you have went 1v1 with any 9x wizard who spent as much money on cash shop and got armor as good as yours. archers are the class who we need to buy the cake AND the icing to be pro. the other classes have the cake already and needs the icing. wizzards have the cake, have the icing and just needs the cherry on top.

I think this sums up archer pretty well at end game. no matter how much you think you're "PRO" and think "GOD I HAVE SO MUCH SKILL" (Yep pressing buttons in a VERY slow combat game is skill intensive i know) Archers suck **** unless you dump money or mass time into trying to buff yourself to match and outdo the other classes endgame. I myself have learned to accept this fact and instead ive learned how to **** in group situations (Teamed with a wiz or veno most of the time) instead of worrying about how much i suck singular compared to other classes.

Its actually -300% accuracy not crit.
Attack rate and accuracy debuffs are both found elsewhere in the game.
I might have to look harder at other classes to find skills based on a % of base damage.
